Absolutely the worst experience ever. Thieves and blatant scammers. They have a three step scam process to take your money and steal your items. The first is the estimator who seems all nice until you send the deposit. He then disappears and doesn't reply to emails after he promised his service through the whole process. Then the moving company comes and forces you to sign a blank sheet so they can later add items and increase the price. If you do not sign the sheet, they will not pack your items. They then take your things and give you zero communication as to when they will deliver until 12 hours before. They then charge extra since they didn't actually map the location as they try to take a semi into a residential neighborhood. At this point they hold your items hostage as a girl calls you and says "its better you pay now or this will become a long issue and your items will not be delivered". After this is all said and done, items are damaged and over $1500 worth of snowboarding gear mysteriously disappears. Massive scam and worst experience ever. Stay far away from them.

Very poor service. My furniture was damage and some completely missing. The claims department is a joke. They go by the weight of items .60 cents per pound. They tried giving me 39.00 for the damage and lost items. Taking them to court. Dont use them. It look them weeks to get my furniture.

Unprofessional. There's is No one to handle issues. Called the main office....no answer Got into a yelling match with a agent, surprise Sharon! Apparently me asking what happens if I'm not avaliable was too hard of a question. My job doesn't allow for me just to say I'm not coming to work....I'm not sure what business does.. but if you ask the answer they give is...we send it back to the original place and you'll pay again......what.....So I paid almost 3k to be at someone else mercy. Good times. Sharon, Who's been mentioned by name in other reviews is sweet until you've already paid for services. Then your on your own. Spend the extra few dollars for a STRESS-LESS move. These people just add the drama to an already complicated situation and what you to pay for the privilege to so. I I see why they had the "best quote". Management just makes excuses.Update: Got charged double what the quote was.....do your homework. This isn't my first move....has been the worst and that's the claim to fame.

IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS I WOULD!!! PLEASE BE AWARE!! This company is absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL and incompetent. They love to lie to their customers. Not only do they pick and choose when they’d like to use the “ITS COVID” excuse but, they assure you a specific delivery time, have you PAY for it and then you end up NEVER delivering your things on the dates you requested/paid for. Then you’re forced to chase after them for updates. VERY VERY INCONVENIENT. OH AND DO NOT even bother trying to get fast or expedited delivery, your things will STILL TAKE ALMOST A MONTH TO ARRIVE! I will be putting in a request for reimbursement!! GOOD LUCK.

Suburban Relocation systems picked up my things on July 26th. My first available delivery date was set for August 5th. I have yet to receive my things, which is beyond the 21 business days listed in the contract. I have had to call and email multiple times in an attempt to find out where my things are and am told "someone will reach out shortly." I am beyond frustrated. This is far too expensive for so little communication and dependability. Overall, this has been the worst moving experience I've ever had. If someone could please tell me where my stuff is or better yet, deliver it, that would be great. Would not recommend to anyone.Edit: 9/8- I finally got a call back and was told once again that I should hear from someone shortly. I expressed that this was not acceptable and that there should be planning to ensure contract dates were met. I was rudely told that I'm not in the business so I couldn't understand the business so I shouldn't be making suggestions. I'm livid. I have never been spoken to so disrespectfully by anyone in a customer service role.Edit: 9/12- I finally got my things, 49 days later, and they’re completely destroyed. Boxes aren’t even boxes anymore, expensive exercise equipment was stored sideways with other things on top (despite explicit directions otherwise). At this point, the damages add up to more than the cost of the move.

Our furniture was picked up on July 5th. I was told I would hear within 48 hours what our delivery date would be. I had to make several calls inquiring where our delivery was. I was told each time I would hear in the next few days. It wasn’t until July 30th that I finally received a call saying they would be there in the next day or so. The showed up without calling to say they were on their way. We were actually on our way out when they arrived. They had a UHaul truck, not a Suburban truck. I was told I was not working with a broker, another non-truth. So after our belongings were loaded from our house, unloaded into storage, again was not told about that, then loaded onto another truck to be unloaded at our residence. Our belongings were handled 4 times which is why almost every piece of furniture was damaged, one antique item was not delivered and they broke several glasses, ceramic planters, holiday items were broken. This has been an absolute disappointment, frustrating experience. When I called to let them know how unhappy we are, the response was, “what’s your email?” No apologies, nothing about letting me know what they were going to do to make it right. Their customer service was just as bad as their delivery protocol. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT YOUR BELONGINGS DELIVERED IN A TIMELY MANNER AND NOT DAMAGED!!!I rarely write reviews, but this experience needed to be shared.

RUN, don't walk, away from this company! Save yourself the headache and the fraud. Sharon Brooks (sales associate) will tempt you with a competitive quote, but Victor Guerra (mover) will extort you for hundreds more after he's loaded your belongings on the truck. This practice is illegal. Know your rights - a binding quote cannot be increased after the truck has been loaded. These guys will try to make you sign blank estimates, which means you are essentially making out a blank check that they can fill in. Don't let them do it! They'll create fake quotes and claim you've signed them. They'll ignore your questions as they load your precious belongings onto their rickety truck. They'll refuse to let you see the inventory sheet they're working off of. They'll pose as the company owners and claim there is no one you can speak to about your complaints. They'll call nameless friends who pretend to be their bosses and threaten to unload your belongings in the street unless you pay their fraudulent charges. They will try every trick in the book, and they are often successful because we consumers have no choice but to continue with a move once the trucks have been loaded. Please, do yourself a favor and pay the slightly higher price to an ethical company. These people do not deserve to be in business and are profiting off of the desperation of customers that just want their belongings back safe and sound.

I want to warn everyone...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVES!! We had a terrible experience with this company. First of all, they quoted us a price and then when everything was on the truck, the price was $4000 more. They told us we would use 1 1/2 trucks and we had to use 2 1/2 trucks. They promised us they would deliver the extra truck within 4-5 days and it came 22 days later. We had to call Sharon everyday to find out what was going on. She would say she was going to call back and she never did. Then, when all the items were delivered, they were scratched, damaged, and broken. Our freezer had so much mold in it because they had left it in the warehouse for so long, that it is not usable. They did not use blankets to wrap things, even though they told us they would. They did not even seem to care that there was damage. In addition, they misplaced a large oriental rug, a ladder, a large black vase, a three corner drop leaf table and locked a cabinet and could not find the key. They told us the rug was in the warehouse and they were told not to bring it. They do not want to take any responsibility. Plus, we went down to our basement the next day and found an empty beer can...they even drank our beer without any permission. I repeat...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are the worst!

Beware! As far as we can tell, this business is a scam, and they’ve stolen our goods. Once they get your money, you will never hear back. Over the last two weeks we’ve left 5 voicemails, sent 6 emails, 4 texts, and called many more times and they will just not tell us where our stuff is nor whether or not it will ever be delivered. We did get a hold of one person through dialing random extensions in their phone system (this was extension 5), and she told us to “F*** off and talk to our representative, Ann” then abruptly hung up. The problem is that we haven’t been able to get a hold of Ann since she charged our credit card for thousands of dollars. I guess we will just buy all new furniture for our new home and sue Suburban Relocation Systems for the value of the rest.

Do not use this moving company! I used Suburban Relocation Systems for my move from DC to Georgia. The day of the pick up, the crew was more than 3 hours late (it was not their fault, it was the dispatch team's fault) The pick up crew was actually good. They were quick moving my stuff and did a good job wrapping furniture.Off to the warehouse my stuff went. after that I did not hear anything from the company for over 2 weeks. The department of transportation allows 14 days for the delivery of goods from the first date you are available to receive them. On day 13 of that 14, I still had not heard a peep. No one would return calls or text messages. I threatened to file a police report for stolen goods if my items were not delivered by day 14.Sure enough I got a call that afternoon.mMy items were delivered on day 14 by 2 men in a penske truck who were in fact contractors, not SR employees. They did a good job unloading, no complaints about them. However many of the boxes were clearly damaged, all banged up and had obviously gotten wet. (it did not rain on pick up or delivery day)Upon unpacking my items, many were broken or damaged. Furniture too, furniture that had been wrapped well was damaged. (which I found strange)twice now I have found items in my boxes that do not belong to me. The most concerning was I found a box cutter (most definitely not mine) in a box of kitchen items and a pair of kitchen scissors (also definitely not mine) deep in a box of my clothes. My clothes were wrinkled and a mess. Someone had opened my boxes and gone thru my stuff. Now it makes sense how my well wrapped furniture was damaged. It had been unwrapped and ransacked.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. YOUR ITEMS WILL BE DAMAGED LOST OR STOLEN.

STOP!!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!I would give zero stars if possible. My family and I moved last week from Virginia to South Carolina. The movers came on Wednesday March 5th and picked up all of our items. Well...almost all of our items. They did forget a hammock, vacuum and some other items. The crew lead proceeded to charge us an additional $1500 dollars more than what was originally quoted. Which is very suspicious since we sold a lot of furniture and other items between the time that we received the quote and the pick up day. We were originally scheduled to have our stuff delivered on Saturday May 8th, because we had a late closing time for our new home on Friday. However, we let the crew lead and the sales rep Sharon know that our mortgage company moved up our signing to 10:30am, so we can have them deliver at noon on Friday versus Saturday morning. Both people said that dispatch would get back to me. That did not happen. I had to keep calling, texting, and emailing...and then finally the crew lead texted me on Friday night and said that the trucks brakes needed to be repaired and our stuff wouldn't arrive on Saturday (THIS SEEMS TO BE WHAT IS TOLD TO A LOT OF PEOPLE. READ THE REVIEWS). We finally spoke to our sales rep Sharon on Saturday and she was less than helpful and rude. She said that someone from dispatch would reach out to me and let me know when we can get our stuff delivered. Sunday came and went without any updates. Monday arrived and more excuses were given. Now the crew lead, Sharron, and finally dispatch messaged me and said that the engine was having problems (THIS ALSO SEEMS TO BE WHAT IS TOLD TO A LOT OF PEOPLE). They told use that it would need to be fixed before they can send the truck out and they also told me that they couldn't rent a truck and off load everything, because non were available. Flat out lie. I run a business that rents box trucks every week. I then reached out to the Office Manager Cindy via email and phone. She didn't respond to any of my calls or emails. Clearly customer service means nothing to them. I then went back to the sales rep Sharon, the crew lead, and dispatch. They would still not commit to a delivery date. It is now 3:40pm on Thursday 5/13 and no on will call, email or text me back about our delivery date and time. We spent over $7000 on this move and we have to move into our new home without any of our items. We have had to spend a lot of money on hotels, clothes, eating out, toiletries, and more.THIS COMPANY LITERALLY RUINED OUR SPECIAL NEW HOME BUILD MOVE IN, RUINED MY WIFES MOTHERS DAY, AND CAUSED ME AND MY ENTIRE FAMILY A LOT OF UNDUE STRESS.So take it from me....DON'T USE THEM. I have every email, text, and call as proof that they are a horrible company.

This company is great! Moved from Virginia to Texas and it was as perfect a move as they get. Arrived on time to pack and load, got my stuff to Texas in less than a week, unloaded and placed all my stuff, reassembled everything, and not a single thing was missing damaged, or broken. I hadn't moved in 25 years. Sharon handled it for me like a perfect professional, the price was right, and everyone on both ends of the move were punctual, respectful, courteous, and professional. Highly recommend Suburban Relocation Systems!!!

I have moved more than 8 times during my career and my most recent move with Suburban Relocation has been the worst.Quickly stated:1. Less than half of my belongings were delivered on the contracted date of 1/27/20. As a result, I had to leave my apartment stay with friends and family. Eventually, when I realized that my belongings were not coming soon, I had to purchase an inflatable mattress, linen, towels, kitchenware, clothes and new recording equipment for my job.2. The majority of my belongings did not arrive until 3/6/21, 38 days after the contracted date, despite my paying ongoing rent and utilizes of $3,528 during this period.3. Services contracted to be provided, e.g., re-assembly of furniture, were not fully provided.4. Damage to my belongings resulted in repair/replacement costs of $1,905.5. Customer Service was unable to provide any visibility to the expected delivery date of the rest of my belongings and the delivery dates provided kept slipping resulting me staying home and turning down compensated projects.6. I reached out to the Presidents of Suburban Relocation via LinkedIn asking them to call me before I pursued any public or legal complaint. I did not receive a response.7. I am now pursuing resolution via the Attorney General Customer Complaint departments of MD (origin of move) and CT (move destination), and Better Business Bureau (BBB).8. Note: Do not let BBB rating of A+ fool you, like it did me. Doesn’t make sense when you read the reviews which reiterate the same problems I had.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! THE 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE A COMPLETE LIE! while packing my belongings, one of the movers broke my table right in front of me and tried to hide the piece as if I wasn't watching! They gave me a set price on the phone, the moment the movers came to get my things, they were telling me about extra costs and having me sign things saying what I would have to "potentially" pay for once they delivered. I was given a 14 day window, I am now on day 13 and I haven't heard a word about the ETA of my furniture! I called the guy who was in charge when picking up my furniture, he blatantly lied on the phone. He said he just spoke with someone two minutes ago who said they loaded my furniture on a truck, but he didn't even have a clue who I was or what furniture I was having delivered. Once he realized he was caught in his lie, he laughed and hung up the phone. I give this company zero stars! The price sounds good at first, but by the time they tack everything on, you would have been better off paying the money to hire a more professional company! It definitely looks like a lawyer should be contacted, too many of us are having the same issues!
