I love picking up the Kimchi that is made here a couple of times a year. I personally think the Kimchi, along with all the other homemade pickled items, are fabulous. The meat and cheese selection they choose is also awesome to have as there are not many fancy grocery stores in Southern DE, or MD so these niche shops for this are a necessity! Thank you Gilberts and well done

We happened on this place today while visiting Berlin MD. for the first time. Highly recommend it! The fermented stuff this guy (Gilbert presumably) offers for sale is both unique and outstanding!! We purchased several items including his fermented onions, fermented Garlic Ranch sauce, Pineapple Kraut and a few other things, too! All fabulous to be sure! We need more scientists/cooks making good food like this! Next time we're in Bethany Beach we will most certainly make the short trip to Berlin, MD for more of this man's wonderful food stuff! Bravo!

I live not too far away from this store. I was pleasantly surprised to see a thank you care package in my mailbox; consisting of cookies from gilbert's provisions! What a great way to say Thank you to your customers! Nice job guys!

The owner was very friendly, personable, and informative. He makes hot sauce! Some from peppers that he grows! Lots of fermented and culinary foods. Worth a visit! Wish I had a picture of his bowl of peppers to post!

I stumbled into this gormet feast of a place a couple of days ago while shopping with my wife. I was drawn in by the fermented foods sign on the window. When I got in I was stunned by the selection of Kimchi, spiced peanuts, spiced bread and butter pickles and some stunning looking Sourdough bread. After buying one of each and eating to my hearts content, I am happy to tell all that this shop is amazing. Product is delicious, fresh and made just right! The owner is very knowledgeable and explains with pride, how his offerings are made. I ate half of the sourbread loaf slightly toasted, and with a nice spread of butter and a tough of salt. It is amazing. The Kimchi is excellent. Firm and flavorful. On my list of places to revisit over and over.Thanks to the owner for offering such mouth pleasing treasures in a world of super processed food.

Super cute shop with a fantastic assortment of goods to construct a great snack. My husband and I were traveling for OC bike week, and came to Berlin on recommendation. When sitting across the street at toy shop, the stores slogan caught our eye so we ventured over and into this shop. The gentleman inside was super polite and helpful. Above all else, we absolutely recommend the BellaVitano Tennessee Whiskey cheddar cheese - it was spectacular!

Great variety of artesian foods. A must stop if you’re in the area. Really nice to see EP!C veggies sourced from Lancaster County, & no additives or preservatives in most of their spices and rubs. Friendly service as well. ?
