I absolutely love Aveda Bethesda! The spa is always spotless, beautifully maintained, and has such a welcoming and relaxing ambiance. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, which makes every visit such a great experience. I usually book my waxing appointments with Sherri, and she is amazing and always makes me feel comfortable and does a flawless job every single time. I can’t recommend this spa enough if you’re looking for a clean, professional, and truly welcoming place for self-care.

I just had my first ever facial with Argjira, and it was amazing. As a man, I used to think facials weren’t for me, but I was completely wrong I’m hooked now! The whole experience was relaxing, professional, and left my skin feeling incredible. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend her to anyone considering a facial.

Argjira did my makeup for my baby shower, and she was incredible! She listened to exactly what I wanted, made me feel so comfortable, and created a look that was flawless, radiant, and lasted all day. I received so many compliments and felt beautiful the entire time. Highly recommend her for any special occasion!

I had a wonderful haircut with Suzana. She took the time to make sure she knew what I wanted and checked to ensure she cut the right length. She was careful and meticulous throughout the appointment. Very calm and relaxing. Definitely recommend!

I had such a great experience with Tienna! She is incredibly kind, personable, and truly takes the time to understand what you’re looking for. She cut my hair perfectly with my face shape and she's the best colorist around—it was like she knew exactly what would suit me best. If you’re thinking about switching things up or just need a little refresh, definitely book with her!

I was really looking forward to working with this makeup artist for my engagement photos, but unfortunately, our photoshoot was postponed last minute because we got rained out. When we informed them, we were told we would still be charged the full amount (over $200) despite the circumstances being completely out of our control.
I understand and respect that artists need to protect their time and income, but I was disappointed that no flexibility or alternative option was offered, such as a partial fee or a reschedule with a small charge. It felt unfair to pay the full amount for a service I didn’t receive due to something neither of us could control. Now, because I paid in full, I can’t afford to go anywhere else for my hair and makeup when the shoot is rescheduled.
This was disheartening, especially given how special this day was supposed to be.

My experience at Aveda Bethesda is absolutely wonderful. Everyone is professional and friendly! I usually get highlights, touchup color, and a haircut and style. I walk out absolutely gorgeous. My stylist,, Tienna, is artistic, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this salon. And stylist!

I got a haircut and treatment a couple days ago with Suzana. Originally I had went in just for a haircut but she suggested a treatment, I was hesitant at first but it was definitely well worth it, my curls look so much healthier. I’ve had multiple compliments about my curls since then! I’d highly recommend Suzana if you have curly hair!

This was the second Keratin treatment I’ve had with Suzana and she was wonderful again. She’s thorough, methodical and meticulous and the results were again terrific. An added benefit: She’s as comfortable allowing me to sit in silence as she is chatting. Great experience, great results. Highly recommend Suzana.

I really appreciate the care Tiffany took with my gel manicure. Usually my natural nails are a wreck (peeling and weak) after the gel is removed but the manicure lasted almost 3 weeks and my nails look strong and healthy. Thank you!
