“We visited this church recently and absolutely loved it. It was such a breath of fresh air to go to church in such an open, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere. This is not the typical ultra conservative environment we are accustomed to and are considering making this our church when we return from vacation. It is worth the drive from Prince William County to Arlington.”
“Heard Bro Kenny preach at a youth rally I went to a number of summers ago and have continued to be blessed by his ministry from afar through listening to his sermons online. If I'm ever up in that area, I will definitely be worshipping at Crossroads!”
“My Mother and Father were married in this church on November 5, 1944. She lived on Kilborne Place. My Father was from East Chicago, Indiana. My Father passed at the early age of 46 and my Mother lived to the ripe old age of 85. Even after all that time she reminisced about her beautiful wedding. (After she passed we found her wedding dress still under her bed.) I'm sure there are many, many, many couples who were united in this beautiful church. I only hope they can experience the love my parents had for each other.”
“Pastor Turner is a wonderful teacher the word of God the people around and helpful with someone in need they all are followers of Christ I thank them for all that they had done for me 12 years I've been at Matthews”

“This is a Christ centered church! Very welcoming staff and church body. Humble Pastors and engaging messages. Excellent Young adult community on Tuesday nights as well!!”
“Monsignor Bartholomew Smith is the best priest in the entire diocese. The church has a great community of families and a good variety of parish activities that bring us closer to God.”
“While visiting DC, we had an exceptional worship experience at CHBC. One of the standout features is being able to hear the congregation singing as opposed to the more common practice of other churches nowadays where you can only hear the people leading worship. At this church, the voices of the congregation fill the sanctuary--so beautiful! Equally impressive is the solid Biblical preaching delivered from the pulpit by the pastor Mark Dever. Following the service, congregants are encouraged to linger and engage in conversations with one another. During our visit, I was particularly touched by the attentiveness of Andy Jones, one of the associate pastors who took the time to speak with my husband, showing a genuine interest in connecting with newcomers. Additionally, a simple yet meaningful gesture from one of the members, who noticed us sharing a bulletin and promptly fetched another one for us, exemplified the culture of care within the congregation. We will make it a point to visit this church whenever we're in the area.”

“This place is literally amazing, prayers are good, giving in shul and put of shul options for people out of shul very accessible (they even made a strong permanent tent outside for that!). The Drashas from the Rabbi are incredible as well! Only downside to the place is the low amount of Kohanim and that's not even their fault, this place is an incredible religious center!”
“Las clases de catecismo impartido por los seminaristas y monjas del IVE ?para mi es lo máximo . Mis 5 hijos han han recibido los sacramento en St James .. mi casa por más de 25 años .”
“Excellent church with good and kind people. The shepherds are good and charismatic and the diversity makes it a great place. With praise services in English and Spanish with verses in Spanish for preaching, it makes this house of God a great blessing for the community.”
“David Platts blue print for foster care ministries and his heart for the children/orphans and widows in our communities has spurred me on in ways I can’t describe. God has given your church a special mission in transforming our foster care system and our care for the elderly. He’s using y’all! I’ve learned about Jesus in the realest of ways through the lives your leadership and church live out every a day, even from miles away. Your blueprint for foster care ministries is a genius idea! Thankful for your obedience to the lord! Proud of what y’all do for the kingdom- keep shining! #HopeforOne”
“Bibway has been divided since Bishop Demey left in 2020 he took the majority of people with him. Bibleway has empty seats. I hope Bishop Way can bring in new people and fill the seats back ? up other than that Bishop Way is an awesome pastor ?”
“TLM several times a week. Always receive the Blessed Sacrament kneeling at the altar rail. Fr Pollard and Fr Melmer are wonderful. 6:30 and 8:30 AM Masses weekdays. Excellent conservative parish.”
“Deceptive from the outside, you would drive right past it. Beautiful sanctuary. And freshly renovated meeting space with new bathrooms and an elevator downstairs. It's the little things.”
“I was there for a funeral, very early. The security officer on duty was not very warm or inviting. He was grumpy, and not pleasant at all. After that, things went very nicely. The food! AWSOME!! Wanted to take some home, but my manners won't dare let me ask. Lovely visit. Yes I would recommend and I would return for a visit.”
“I love the late Sunday mass at 7 pm. This is a great option for anyone who misses early masses. But be prepared for a rather conservative sermon/homily, though. I took a friend, and he pointed this out to me after 2 masses. Parking is limited but available. I recommend the experience. It's a nice place.”
“Wonderful church! They focus on being part of the community and teaching the Bible in ways that people understand, especially people that don’t currently go to church. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to belong. The small groups are a great way to meet people and dive even deeper into the weekly messages. There are numerous opportunities to serve others in the community and within the church.”
