Most unorganized, frustrating, unprofessional pharmacy I've ever dealt with. RXs are never ready, they don't even answer their phone when the website also fails you, and the complete lack of care shows the pharmacy staff is either run ragged and treated poorly, or they're just miserable people. Either scenario sucks and is ultimately a massive loss for the customer. Do better, CVS. You're awful.

Do not go to this pharmacy. They told me my script would be ready by 2pm yesterday so I came back few hours after that as I know pharmacies are always backed up and usually not on time. I show up to find out it won’t be ready until tomorrow morning. I come back at the time they promised and come to find out they have to first check to see if they have it after telling me they did and then them telling me it won’t be ready until later today. I have a flight to catch and filled this well in advanced and now I have to fly without my meds. I would highly never recommend coming to this pharmacy as the pharmacist was extremely rude and disrespectful. Their service support and care is a disgrace and I would take your prescriptions to an entirely different vendor.

Oct 30, 2023, I ordered 4 boxes of CVS Health Preservative-Free Lubricant Eye Drops, 70 CT, Single Dose STERILE Eye Drops. On Oct 31, I was told about the FDA recall because investigators found unsanitary conditions & life and eyesight threatening bacteria present in the manufacturing of the drops. The FDA published the recall on OCTOBER 25, 5 days BEFORE I ordered. On October 27 they required that all of the lots for those drops be taken off the shelf - 3 days BEFORE I ordered. When I heard about the recall, knowing it had occurred before my online order, I assumed that the online order would therefore be cancelled. I was extremely unhappy to receive the 4 boxes of eyedrops delivered on Nov 2nd. Now I would have to take them back to a CVS and fight to get a refund. While it did take a bit of arguing to get a refund, I managed to get that once I got the manager involved who kindly helped me get the refund. BUT when I went to look for other eyedrops to buy, I found numerous sizes of the recalled drops on the shelves, the 70 count size even offered, Buy 1, Buy 2nd 1/2 price.I immediately brought all of them to the manager's attention. He thought that if anyone tried to buy one of them, a code in the register would not allow it to be rung up. I asked him to try it and when he did, the sale of each of the sizes went through.People have gone blind from using these drops and some have had their eyeballs removed., CVS has shown a complete disregard for their customers and a concern only for their bottom line.

worst CVS ever, not sure why it takes 3 days to fill out a prescription and this has happened multiple times. And on top of that they never answer the phone. You literally have to walk in there and put the pressure on them to fill your prescription or they will never do it!

Pharmacy Review: Terrible service. Avoid this pharmacy. They reduced their evening hours and now they close during lunch hours. I pre-paid on website to have a prescription refill delivered, just like the prior month. 3 days later, I received a text notification that CVS canceled my prescription refill and I should go online or call the pharmacy. Going online offered no information. So I called the pharmacy but after 5 calls and a combined 3 hours on hold I have yet to be connected to a human. Now, as I write this, I just received another text to go online or call the pharmacy for a new prescription my doctor submitted today that insurance does not cover. Online was no help. Now at 25 minutes on hold and still waiting. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST! I will be transferring my prescriptions to Giant pharmacy in Bethesda.

The poor pharmacist was stuck alone working the register while more than 12 people waited. He was doing as well as he could, but the manager should be back filling in if no other employees were available. Stories in the line reported this as a typical problem. People were ticked off, to put it mildly.

I’ve been going to this CVS for nearly a decade. The staff, and especially the managers, are really good folks who take pride in their store. I don’t use the pharmacy, so I can’t speak to that, but in terms of convenience and a welcoming vibe, this CVS has both.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding a recent interaction I had with one of the employees at this location. My expectation was to receive quality service and assistance. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. The employee I interacted with, whose name I later discovered to be Don (The pharmacist), exhibited a level of unprofessionalism and rudeness that I find completely unacceptable. During our interaction, Don displayed a lack of courtesy and patience. His tone of voice was condescending, and he did not make any effort to address my concerns or questions adequately. This attitude left me feeling disrespected and unheard as a customer. If it was possible to give zero star, It would have been my choice for this review.

Honestly, CVS is one of the least customer-centric companies that exists in the United States. They underpay and understaff their stores, which results in horrible customer experiences. On average, it takes us three visits to get a single medication actually filled. They take prescriptions they can't fill, lie to us about being able to fill them, then eventually send us to other stores that may or may not have our medication. At this point I'd trust Philip Morris more with my healthcare than CVS.

URGENT WARNING! Please check that the pharmacy properly fills your prescriptions here, particularly if you take an expensive medication that affects you differently than similar generics. If your meds look different than they usually do, google the letters/numbers on the pill to check that it is the correct medication. This Friday, I filled for my name brand medication and when I picked it up today, I found a different pill. I assumed that my medication just changed its capsule and almost took it. Fortunately, I decided to google the letters/numbers on the capsule just in case and found that I had been provided a similar generic medication. I was previously prescribed this generic and had negative side effects, which is why I switched to the name brand that I pay significantly more for.The pharmacist who I reported this error to was apologetic, immediately provided me with the proper medication, and said there are multiple checks and balances in place that typically prevent errors like this from happening. Given that I was provided a similar generic medication, this was not an "error," it was a pharmacist opting to provide me with a different, less expensive medication while charging me and my insurance for the expensive name brand that I require.I am alarmed by this "error" as I am sure this is not the first or last time this pharmacy will do this. I am sure a good number of patients will assume, like I did, that their medications look different because the capsule was just changed by the manufacturer and not double check the imprint code. CHECK THE IMPRINT CODE IF YOUR MEDS LOOK DIFFERENT.

We have shopped at this pharmacy for years, but decided to switch to another chain. They have failed to properly fill prescriptions, they have increased prices, and importantly, the pharmacists have become extremely rude. The last time they failed to fill prescription, they simply told me if you don't like it, go to another pharmacy. And that's what I did.

This CVS is understaffed, unprofessional and rude. The pharmacy clerk was short and rude to me. My prescription was filled incorrectly and she did not explain to me how they would fix the mistake. Instead she told me to wait for her to finish the orders for the line of people behind me. I was the first in the store to start the day. I requested her to fix the mistake since I was first in the line and she refused. I spoke with the manager Nancy who tried to blame me for their mistake. I can see that the staff follows the manager's poor customer service practices because of the way that she communicated to me. She told me that the clerk did nothing wrong by telling me to go back and wait. She also said that there is not enough staff in the morning when they open. I expected the clerk to simply tell me when to come back to pick up the corrected prescription. Instead the manager and clerk argued with me. Stay away from this location, the bad reviews are true.

Could the pharmacy people be any less helpful? I don't really see how. Slow as Christmas, no Rx acquired in less than 3 trips, and all problems bring a response of utter disinterest with a side of implication that it's all your fault, no matter what it is. No one has answered a phone here since the last decade. I have long since concluded that the only way this and all other CVSs stay in business is we're all forced to deal with them by equally predatory insurance companies.

This must be the worst CVS in the fleet. The pharmacy staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. I have a prescription that for some reason requires me to call the pharmacy to fill. Each month I am left on hold for 30 - 60 minutes at a time. Today, the woman who answered the phone actually yelled at me and then hung up. I had simply asked a clarifying question, I never raised my voice and wasn't rude to her in any way. Avoid this place at all costs.
