Do not bank with them omg. You can never get anyone on the phone website is horrendous. I've been on the phone for 2hrs right now just reactivate my Debit Card.Doesnt even deserve the 1 star

My son works for the Marriott IT department. I should have checked reviews before refinancing my mortgage with them. This is the worst credit union in the history of credit unions. So archaic. They don't have the ability to pay over the phone or debit my external bank account to pay the mortgage. I have to initiate a transfer to my Marriott savings account and THEN pay my mortgage from the savings. A mortgage specialist said they would call over a month ago, and I'm still waiting for the call. Beware!

No matter how low the interest rate they offer DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. The worst customer service! it’s not that the representative are rude. They are helpful but the system they work on, app, the application process is so outdated it’s takes forever to resolve any issues. You literally have to jump through hoops just to get a “great” deal. Which frankly other credit union are becoming competitive too and if I had known it’s so much of a hassle I rather paid more interest.

I wish I checked reviews before signing up because this is a 1 star CU! I signed up for what i thought was a checking account but i had to sign up for a savings as well and keep $1,000 balance or get charged $10/month fee. Main reason was to use their auto loan product as they had best rates; however what’s not published is that you cannot payoff the loan early and they only allow up to one month additional payment per year. Worst loan I have ever heard of but ignoring that the customer service in trying to get answers around signing up was some of the worst around. I called several times and emailed trying to get details of a loan but was called back once when they wanted something from me and never answered my questions about early payoff/ additional principle payments until I was almost signed up for the loan. Then when i went close my account i was charged an early closure fee equal to remainder of balance…hmm go figure. I hate writing bad reviews but I have had countless bank accounts with other CUs to but wow was this experience at the bottom for me. With so many other options out there not sure why anyone would choose MFCU.

Worst bank ever. You can't do anything digital, no Venmo or Zelle, etc. No branches. Have to mail in checks for deposit. It's 1965 technology. Horrible customer service when you actually get someone on the phone after an average wait time of one hour or more. I'm leaving after nearly 20 years for a bank with the times.

Very difficult to deal with. I was calling the customer service line for 2 days straight attempting to obtain a 10 day payoff letter. Every representative gave a different response. I somehow managed to get a manager on the phone and she was able to fax me the letter (its 2022 - why are we still faxing). Oh and she forgot to add my account number on the document...Lots of back and forth. Horrible experience.

I have been on hold1st time 45min2nd. Time 1hr..You can't speak to know one this is really bad customer service especially when you have your money in this bank ....I will close my account and take my money to somewhere I can literally speak to someone when I need help.......ps don't even bother calling no one will ever answer...

TerribleI have been on hold for 35 minutes waiting to speak to a representative and nothing. I had to hang up as I have to call during work hours because they do not operate any other time... They do not value your time.I have been a member for years and can not believe this institution is not at a point to give better services to members. I will be looking for another credit union to take all my services to. Checking and 2 savings accounts. Just Terrible

I have been on hold for 25 min to then be hung up on... I can't believe Marriott backs up this credit union. There is no customer service, so shameful... and soo very disappointed. The agents need to go thru the Ritz-Carlton customer service orientation...

Archaic systems, make you jump through a billion hoops to verify your account but when you need something from them - they are carefree with your information - a request for a wire transfer must be faxed with no cover page!!! Absolutely archaic - supervisor Nicole on the phone after hours was the worst customer service experience in banking - ever!

Just opened the Acct 6 months and we're closing now, I would suggest to anyone also - get out while you still can. Worse bank ever.
