I love working out here! It is always clean, and everyone is respectful. The cardio room is separate from the weight room. The pool is wonderful. There is a pickleball/tennis court and a basketball court. The only thing is parking is very limited so come prepared. The showers are cleaned and that is something I appreciate in any public gym I visit!

Not very populated lately. Lots of space to work out because ppl seem to nice this fitness gem on base. If ppl keep ignoring it, it’ll lose its significance and therefore, funding.

The pool is closed temporarily and the website still says it’s open. Please update the website so families dont waste time.

Although this place ain't the most available on weekends. When you can get a workout in, they pretty much got what you need.

Quality fitness center with lots of space and options. Rarely have issues accessing desired equipment unless it is an exceptionally busy time.

They have a heavy punching bag which they took away. Some of us practice martial arts as part of our way of life. You are being culturally insensitive.

The new hours to the pool are inconvenient and not logical. How are we to make fitness a priority for Active Duty Members if the gym and pool are barely open? The Gym hours close before most people get off from their shifts. On weekends the gym is only open for 5 hours. 5 hours of a 48 hour weekend. How are fitness standards supposed to be maintained? There are approximately 400 sailors and soldiers who live in unaccompanied housing not including the wounded warriors. We are in the middle of our fitness cycle. People have PRT's scheduled for the pool on Tuesdays and Thursdays, what should they do? Two weeks ago the hours to the pool changed from opening from 5am to 6am apparently due to lighting, this was an extreme change. Now the pool is only open 38 hours a week. There are 168 hours in a week. That 22%. Fitness is one of the biggest stress reducers. Mental health and Morale at an all-time low, we have just taken away those opportunities. Most day of this summer has been over 90 degrees outside resulting in a black flag indicator outside. You are taking away all options. This will lead to more failures of the PRT and BCA as well as an even more incline of mental health crisis. How can we make a resolution to benefit not only our active duty but to our Wounded Warriors and civilians?

I'm sure it's a fine gym but PLEASE extend the hours just 1 or 2 hours later so that nurses and docs can workout after shift. The idea that you close right as a large portion of workforce are getting off is a shame.

Fine pool for veterans to swim. Lifeguards are the best.

They dont make it easy to workout at the gym.Parking is so tough. It used to be where one could park not far from the gym. Now you have to park far away. Once you are at the gym everything is great. The pool is awesome.

It's a shame that my rating can't be higher, because this used to be such a great place to swim. 50m set up once a month, open early, so many great benefits. Unfortunately, the pool has become completely unreliable. More often than not these days, the pool heater is not working properly and the air temperature on the pool deck in the 50s. I long for the days when you could count on the pool being a reliable source of maintaining physical fitness, which is so critical for military personnel and families.
