Naval Support Activity Bethesda hosts Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, serving our service members, veterans, their families and our nation’s leaders. The installation is also home to the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences; the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute; Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command; and several other key tenant commands that provide research, training and support to our base population. NSAB provides a dynamic environment where training and efforts to improve support to our nation's military and their families occurs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
