Not quite as much a source of paper as I had hoped. They had a few boxes and lots of envelopes - it was more a place to buy lots of different greeting cards and card products. Nice (but pricey) gifts.

The store has tons of unique items but, best of all, the manager (i think) was enthusiastic, welcoming, greeted every customer, helped me find what I was looking to buy. This type of customer service will bring me back.

I love The Paper Source and have been going there for over two decades. But this location stinks. It’s mostly just overpriced crap that reminds me of a “cute” gift shop in a tourist trap town.

Needed to have a gift wrapped. They did it so fast I never had to leave the area to come back! Great place to shop!

This shop is so cute, full of great gifts not just wrapping paper! The staff were all very friendly & helpful. Our teens each found things to put on their Christmas lists. The prices are reasonable too! If you’re in Alexandria, for sure stop in!

I'm so excited that they finally opened up the second floor! As a stationary fan this store hits all the right parts of my brain.

Despite what everyone is saying, the staff was at least nice with me. Maybe because I'm bald and ugly and look sick. Anyway, got some more cute things for my lil sis's bday. This Choco santa gave me a good chuckle too

In drawers and desks, they quietly reside,
The tools of thought, our daily guide.
A pen in hand, a paper near,
They capture dreams, they banish fear.
With ink and lead, we chart our course,
Through letters, notes, and lines of force.
A simple pen, a sheet so plain,
Can spark a fire, ignite the brain.
In every stroke, a story's spun,
In every word, a race begun.
For pens and paper, though oft unseen,
Are the silent heroes of our routine.
So let us cherish, with grateful heart,
These modest tools that play their part.
For in their lines, our lives unfold,
In ink and paper, tales are told.

Came in around 2:20 today (Friday). As I was checking out the worker was acting very strange and was staring at me the entire time. Whether I was getting my card or situating myself, it was almost judgmental. Not sure what the issue was there. I felt uncomfortable. She also held on the receipt when I grabbed it? Very strange. Thought I would share my interaction. Great store though.

What a cute shop, there are so many unique things that are great for various occasions. It's just a little pricey.
It is located in the heart of Bethesda's downtown area with convenient street parking and garage nearby.
Staff are very friendly which created a inviting atmosphere for the customers.
Definitely recommend by @WineDinenVacay

Super cute store and very clean and well maintained! Staff seemed like they didn’t care to be there, was no greeting upon arrival, and gave me side eye when I walked up to the register, and therefore interrupted the two employees conversation. The store wasn’t busy at all, but made me feel uncomfortable and would probably choose another location to shop again

Was just browsing the store during the holidays and was skimming through a couple of the travel books. An employee came up to me and told me which was her favorite. I skimmed through that one I bit, which was a book that told you where many different movie/TV scenes were filmed with pictures and little factoids, which was indeed pretty interesting. I didn't buy anything but this experience left me with a good impression of the store and the employees.

It was an extremely busy pre-holiday Saturday, and the staff was doing their best, although a bit overwhelmed. This area could do with a Paper Source twice the size - it was a chaotic shopping experience. That said I was able to purchase wrapping paper and have an item wrapped, thus goal accomplished.

Jim, Catherine, and the phenomenal woman (I failed to get her name) greeting were top notch as well as the services!!! High recommendations for this location.
