Awful every time. Inefficient, non-communicative, and run down facility - feels like you are in Cold War Yugoslavia.

If I could give less stars I would. Why on God's green earth is there only one person???? Quest is ran by a bunch of idiots.

The WORST- never come here! Staff was rude and argumentative. Zero kindness or empathy.

Don’t ever go here. Wasted my time showing up for my appointment and the doors were locked and no one answered the phone.

I will never go to Quest diagnostics at Bethesda. The lady is so rude, I stayed there for 3 hours and yet I didn’t get my test. At the end she told me it is a lunch break and I should vacate the building. So sad after losing 3 hours and 10 $ for parking fees.

I have came here for a drug test multiple times and the staff I've meet were super friendly, cheerful, and polite. This time staff member was nice enough to give me one of those children's stickers at the end (my silly request). I feel safe and comfortable going here! Never had a problem.Take care,

For work protocol, I was assigned to go to this location. Setting up an appointment online was easy but very few slots in the timeframe I needed. No wait time. The set up of the office is antiquated. However, the lab technician was fantastic! I wish all techs and humans could be as kind as this man… There are a multitude of buildings in the complex - so plan ahead for parking and understand that even for 20 minutes, it’ll cost you $4.00. However, there is metered street parking that is cheaper if you have an appt during the hours they us available.

The staff for the sequence of appointment is just a mess. Even though you checked in on time, he just let others without appointments just in.

Worst bedside manners. No need to be obnoxious to explain things to patients.

We had an appt and showed up early. My son now stands to lose his summer job because Quest cannot keep an appoint. This was an employer prepaid test and disappointing for a student trying to save up for college!

Good Day,April 10, 2023My name is Kathleen Timmerman. I have been going to the Quest Lab on Rockledge Drive for my blood work-up, these past many years.Though it is now a good idea to make an appointment, I was a walk-in and chose to wait.It has been sometime since I was there but found nothing has changed when you walk in, sit down, wait for the technician to bring up your order, double check everything to make certain there are no questions about the order; checking with me, making certain I am who I am, before starting the procedure. Ruthie E. was the technician on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Her professionalism was exceeded only by her graciousness and her timely efforts in drawing the blood. I do hope the powers that be at the Quest offices, make the time to acknowledge Ruthie's contribution to their service.Thank you Ruthie.Kathleen Timmerman

I normally only go to the Shady Grove location because the Rockledge one requires appointments. My new employer forced me to go here to do pre employment eScreen DS Collection. I wouldn't have otherwise come here because of paid parking too. I made the appointment online and arrived on time for check in. Parking was onerous and far away. The appointment wasn't on time and I kept hearing door banging once taken inside. The only reason why I gave a 3 instead of 1 star is because of Ruth, the MT who works there. She is lovely and thorough. As a person who also works lab, I can definitely understand the frustration of working alone in the facility. More appalling was the behaviors of patients in the waiting room. Golly could they not stop banging on the doors! It's one pt at a time with appointments for pt safety. Parking ended up costing me $4 for less than 30 minutes. I would not return unless I have to.

The lab technician was rude, and kept demanding that I needed to pay 900 USD for something I do twice a year at no cost. After calling my insurance in front of her and confirming that I did not need to pay anything out of pocket, the codes she typed in the machine *magically* confirmed that the process did not require any payment from me. Vindictively, she stabbed me with the needle while collecting the sample and I ended up with a huge bruise for almost 2 weeks. I complained with the company through email with pictures and evidence, but never heard back. Avoid like the plague!

This is my go-to test lab for blood work. The check in process is completely automated. There is a very hard-working gal in there by her lonesome who does a wonderful job and is very conversational. She does an excellent job with blood tests, urine tests, etc. She is fast but friendly, and very kind and considerate. I love our conversations about coffee. She hails from London and is very sharp and enthusiastic.
