Authentic Thai food. Taste so good. Love the drunk noodle and red curry very much. Friendly service and nice dinning atmosphere. With band show at weekend. Would love to come back again!

2.5 stars if I could. It's just kind of bland for Thai food. I've ordered twice and don't think I'll ever return. Cute atmosphere though and nice service!

The food was average and not very flavorful. We had the prow chicken dish and it was warm like it was not freshly made. You can probably find better in this area. Just my opinion.

This review is for take-out. Easily the worst Thai food I've had, we ordered three dishes and all were bad in different ways. The Pad King was the best of the bunch but had overcooked vegetables and did not come with rice. The Khao Soi was flavorless except for spice and had noodles that seemed more Italian and Asian. The Pad See Ew had incredibly gummy noodles that our toddler choked on (this is his go-to favorite dish usually) and the shrimp in it tasted off, a little dirty and flavorless. Avoid at all costs.

This is the 2nd time I have come to this restaurant. The waitress is always friendly and fast. The food has been delicious everytime. This visit I had a total of 5 guests, and we were served drinks and food in 20 min. Love this place.

As a loyal customer of Sala Thai, I've always enjoyed their delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. However, my recent visit left me feeling disappointed. Despite placing my order 40 minutes in advance, it was not ready upon arrival, and there was no acknowledgment or apology for the delay. When I requested an extra container, I was surprised to be met with the response, 'there's no free lunch,' which I found rather disheartening. As someone who has frequented this establishment for quite some time, I believe that a more understanding and customer-focused approach could have been taken. While I still value the food quality, I hope for better service experiences in the future.

Well I was told by some locals that there was no really good Thai food in Bethesda but I thought I would just risk it anyway cuz I really wanted Thai food. Unfortunately they're right. This was the highest rated place in the area and the food was really bad. I didn't know you could ruin a noodle dish. The noodles were way soggy, mushy and overcooked. There was no sauce or much flavor with the Pad See U. The Tom Ka soup, which smelled really odd but tasted ok, had very few ingredients in it. The portions of the main dishes are generous but otherwise, I say take the extra time and go to the District.

Nice little spot within walking distance of where I was staying (The Bethesdan). Drunken noodles were a perfect spice level and really liked the extra wide rice noodles used.

Be warned if you order Tom Ka soup (coconut soup) they must put fish sauce in that soup. It smells very fishy which is not what we are used to. It totally ruins and overpowers the flavor.

Lunch in this bright, open spot was delightful. Almost all the tables were filled, and the view was as delicious as the food.

Mild Thai spice should not mean without flavor. I had the crispy duck which was over steamed vegetables and am still searching for the flavor. The duck (not certain it was duck) was battered and fried which masks the flavor of this meat. The sauce was not rich and I really couldn't appreciate the basil. I didn't finish it. My appetizer was the steamed dumplings which were also nothing exceptional. I'm not Asian so don't pretend to be an expert but I have had Thai food all over the world. This doesn't rank very highly. Service was very good quick and friendly. This spot in Bethesda has been a Thai restaurant for decades. It is not the same.
