I got a manicure done and the nail tech picked at my cuticles so hard it literally started bleeding from 2 fingers. He asked when the last time I had gotten a manicure was (essentially blaming me when he was one that made my fingers bleed) and it was in fact literally 3 weeks prior at the same place. That experience wasn’t phenomenal either (the skin around my nails was significantly peeling and the line work was shaky, but not bad enough for me to leave a negative review at the time). Overall, do not recommend.

I asked for an acrylic set and was told gel would be much better. The manicure was sloppy and every time a fiber got on the nail and I asked for it to be removed before curing, she just globbed more polish on top. When the nails then wouldn't cure, she got angry and told me I should have said something sooner. She then charged me extra to redo the hand that didn't cure. I still have to go elsewhere to get my manicure redone. The pedicure was just fine, but I don't believe I'll be returning. A lot of money to spend for a poor end product. Feeling ripped off.

Tips to toes nails provides WONDERFUL service. I came here with a group of bridesmaids (and the bride!!) the day before the rehearsal dinner, and they made us all feel like princesses!!! The staff had complimentary champagne and chocolates in honor of the wedding. They were extremely friendly and attentive to any requests. Our nails were stunning and everyone was in great spirits!!! Thank you so much, Tips to toes nails!! :)

I went to this salon about a week-ish ago. It was a small place and I thought that I was going to like it since the reviews are amazing. I was so wrong. My nail tech kept talking on the phone and was not listening to my directions on what I wanted done. First, she picked the wrong color then what I asked for. Once she put the extensions on, the nail glue got in my fingers and started burning, she also did not unstick them or even let me do it. She kept telling me to relax my hands, and proceeded hit them down on the table so she could keep working. Additionally, when she was filing and shaping my nails, she cut my finger with the file. That whole time I was telling her that it was getting uncomfortable and eventually started hurting. But she kept going harder! My finger started bleeding and dripped blood all over the cloth. This was not the first time she had cut me. When she was smoothing my nails with an electric filer, she proceeded to go over all of my cuticles until it was painful and scabbed. Another thing that I was dissatisfied with was my nail shape. One was drastically shorter than the rest. I asked her to redo it or make the rest shorter and she said "no". I was shocked. When it was time to check out, she charged me extra than it said on the pricing menu online and when I asked her why it was different she said "for my tip". I proceeded to ask her to take that off and that I am extremely disappointed with the service. I also think that I should have gotten a discount and not an extra charge. Overall, this was so bad and I was so done with this whole experience, I paid and left. My nails were in pain for days after this**Service: Acrylic nails

They do a lousy job but charge you like a luxurious service. We were 2 people and can say they have systematic low attention and quality.Don’t be surprised if you come out with toes looking like clowns and getting infected for careless treatment.

Best nail salon in Bethesda! My friend and I come here all the time. Nina and Joana are the best. We get the gel and dip and it’s always perfectly done. Lots of color selection too.

Love coming here to get my nails done! They have provided me with great service throughout the year (a few pictured; 2022) for gel and regular nail polish. I have had the best experience with Thanh and all my nails tend to last for long (almost 2 weeks regular, a month for the gel). Also, their prices are pretty affordable (range from 30-45 for manicure, about 30-35 for pedicure). They also have a few promotions to encourage loyalty. Stop by for service if you're in the Bethesda area!

I went in for a dip powder manicure, and within 48 hours they started chipping. I went back in to have the 2 nails that chipped fixed and the next morning another has chipped. I don't have the energy to go back again. I realized she filed them way too thin during the original manicure, to the point the tool got so hot it burned my nails. I had to ask her to stop several times. Frustrated that I spent $60 on a manicure that isn't going to last at least 2 weeks as it should.

I wanted to like this place but it was horrible. I went in for a dip manicure and pedicure. I opted for the deluxe which was $47 and listed to come with all these services. The tech seemed very nice but seemed very distracted with kids in and out. She only put the scrub on my calves which was weird because obviously I was expecting a pedicure and for my feet to be taken care of. She slapped a mud mask on my shins then again just focused on my calves putting the towel not even on my feet but on my calves. When she was done she wiped off the mud mask with the same towel. She painted my nails and then worked on my cuticles after. So I had all this gunk on my feet and my calves. It just didn’t feel clean. I was very disappointed because I’ve been waiting to get a pedicure and manicure. The manicure wasn’t much better. It was completely dry and she didn’t even do my hang nails or cuticles until I asked about it. I still left with hang nails and polish on my skin even after I politely mentioned to the tech. The nail dust covered my hands. It was a very sloppy unprofessional job on both ends that the only reason I’m writing this is because it was last night and it’s still bothering me. I mentioned to the tech checking me out (who may have been the owner?) how bad it was. Personally if they would have just corrected it then and there it would have been cool. But I paid $100 and was offered a $15 gift card for next time? That’s like a slap in the face. I did not take it because I did not want to return. I paid for services I didn’t even receive. I could have done my own pedicure if I knew it was just going to be slapping on and wiping off with dirty rags. Very disappointing customer service. After months of training and not being able to get any type of pedicure, it really bothers me how bad this experience was. I understand everyone has bad days but there was many chances to get it right and I should have checked with the reviews on here before taking my money to this place. Not worth it. I’ll spare the photos. I sent pictures to a friend who gets hers done regularly and she said it looked like I did them myself.Services: Manicures

After 4 years of living in this neighborhood, I will never come here again. The lady did such a sloppy job removing my previous gel manicure that, as she was applying polish, she painfully dug into my cuticle with the pliers. She also painted the gel polish in such a way that stuck to my skin— a one-way ticket to lifting and peeling early. My cuticles are still red and raw from the extra filing I forced her to do to get rid of the “ridges” on all sides. I used to love the convenience of walking here, but I’d rather spend my money where my service is performed with more care.
