Great selection, terrible staff. been here many times because it is convenient but many of the employees are not familiar with where items are or just pretend to be so they don't have to help.Glad they are there, but wish it was better. maybe employees need a raise and/or needs some quality control.

Awful experience - even dealt with the store manager. I had a receipt to return an unopened product that was 2 days beyond their 90-day return policy. They said they could only give store credit, which I said was fine. They run your local driver's license only to be rejected for a reason they can't explain. At the very least, tell me why its been denied and and untrained staff can't even do that. Lowe's is so much more willing to work with you under whatever the circumstance. Sadly ending my 25 years of business with them on principle alone.

I came in last night to get a thermostat guard and some drip pans for my plants. Everything was very easy to find and also very well stocked. Self checkout was a breeze even though there were also cashiers available too. I recommend this location because they have a great selection in the garden department.

Update 2 days later: Lowes came to install the fridge, no issues with them, it does fit. So thank goodness we have a contractor with a brain or else we would've listened to the Home Depot guys & get a smaller fridge that would have space between & look bad. Thanks Lowes!!

I called three times about buying a refrigerator. The first two times when they transferred me, the line went dead. The third time the woman promised me someone would call me back. NO ONE did. This is a very busy store, but really?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE HUGO he was the best... I went in to get some paint for my home renovations & he went above and beyond to assist me, while still helping other customers at the same time!!! Give him a raise!!! Give him his flowers!!!

I love Home Depot, but I hate coming here. The parking lot is a complete nightmare. I've never seen a Home Depot that was so hostile to pickup trucks. 90% of the people who park here are elderly, or are self-entitled Karens who have no concept of how to handle their cars in a parking lot.

What can you say about a Home Depot? They are all big-box, low-price stores with mediocre service. This location, due to the small size of the store and parking, is much smaller than other local Home Depot's. Parking is a nightmare on weekends. And now that everybody "works from home", it's also very crowded mid day. My biggest issue with this store, and probably other Home Depot's, is that they now lock up virtually all tools. In order to get a simple $80 tool, you have to track down an employee to open the cage. Not an easy task. This is due to corporate's unwillingness to stop shoplifting. Now that they are too afraid to protect their merchandise from people grabbing it and running out the door, they have resorted to locking everything up, inconveniencing their paying customers.

Avoid this store if you need any assistance at all. A small percentage of the employees are great. (SETH and TOMAS are wonderful!!!!) The rest can't be found, can't be bothered, don't know how to help you. I DREAD coming here and only do when it's totally necessary.

This location is ridiculously horrible! I waited over 45 minutes today at curbside pick up with both my kids (one who is a newborn who cried for a good 30 minutes). I had to call Home Depot, Gail/Gayle who was incredibly sweet - she had to call the store with me on hold, and the store apparently asked her to tell me to pull up to the store and call customer service to bring my order out. Seriously, what the f***** I had already pull up and filled out the "I'm here" part through the text message 45 freaking minutes ago. Hence the call. Had to explain again. I see someone come out, going to the side of the entrance, got my order but disappeared back in. Gail/Gayle put me off hold again, because the store was asking what vehicle I was driving and which parking lot number was I at!!! I'm the only f****** one at curbside pick up!! Just come to it and ask for my ID!! Be more freaking intuitive!!! Also, again, I filled out the "I'm here" part already for the same order number which you have in your hand!!! My husband did curbside pickup 2 weeks prior and waited for about 35 minutes! Seriously, if you are going to suck so bad at curbside pickup, DON'T OFFER IT!!!! This is obviously not a one off situation. When I pulled in today, another person also in curbside, got out of his car after 10 minutes (no idea how long he had been waiting), huffing away, walked into the store and got out with his order; looking pissed off. I would have loved to do the same thing except I have 2 young kids, one a newborn!!! I understand perhaps being understaff, covid, etc but I work in a retail environment as well and we re delegate our resources to where it's needed or cancel certain services. Don't offer curbside or manage the store better!

Here me out: Home Depot is the Apple Store of hardware stores. First of all, their app is out of this world and lets you select an item and then see where it's located in the store on both a map and via aisle/bin number. Have you ever walked into another hardware store and located a specific type of screw in under 3 minutes? I have. When you're ready to checkout their self checkout is the best I've ever seen and I've been telling this to people for a long time. Why, you ask? There's no prompts for loyalty cards, welcome screens, nothing. You just walk up and scan the first item. You can probably swipe and pay for an item in under 30 seconds. Again, super helpful if you're just coming in for a screw. Here's the big one, the one that earns this place 5 stars. If you walk up to customer service once a month you can sign your kid up for a free Home Depot workshop. These workshops are suspended during Covid but they still give away a free build-your-own toy for kids. In the month of November they gave away a Christmas ornament that my kid had to glue together and in December we got a car to build (hammer required). My kid is obsessed with all things tool related so these little activities are a dream for him. Home Depot really knows how to get kids hooked at an early age!

On Friday morning I received an email from Home Depot that an order I made online the week before and was supposed to be delivered that day, had been cancelled. NO EXPLANATION why it was canceled. I called their 1800 number and eventually thr representatives said it was canceled because 1 item was out if stock. They waited till the same day as delivery to tell me! I asked to be transferred to the Bethesda store to see if they could help me find similar items I had a contractor coming the next day and I had flown up from Florida to take care of this project. The Betheada store had the other item I ordered in stock. Later that day I ordered a bathroom vanity and asked the store manager if they could waive the delivery fee since Home Depot service had been lousy that morning with the canceled order. I was told NO. I managed to pick up the vanity with a friend who has a minivan. We got it home and saw that the doors don't meet properly and the back was coming apart. Cheap particle board! We brought it back that night and Sarah who works the customer service desk assisted me. She was the one bright star at Home Depot. Beware of poor quality vanities, that is all they have available in the store

This Home Depot is hot garbage for contractors. The GM of this location should be ashamed of the store they are running. The issues are endless from the moment pull Into the tight parking lot that barely accommodates pickups or work vehicles it's always jammed. I have yet to walk inside and see the plumbing section in any kind of order , parts all misplaced stuff scattered all Over the floor and then you try and get help to get a box off the top and it's a ghost town to find someone to grab a ladder. It's so bad that I went and got a folding ladder from the shelf and grabbed the box I needed after asking for help for 30 minutes. It's fine for a DYI person but if you are a contractor save your time and drive to another location.

I called to ask about appliance dimensions before a purchase. I was transferred three times and was put on hold for over 30 minutes. No one took my call so I hung up and will order from another store.
