Terrible! Came on a whim and instantly regretted it. Nails are terrible (they don’t cut your cuticles, apparently) and the place is dirty. Such a waste.

** update came back today and had a horrible experience with a pedicure. The poor selection of outdated colors and the bad attitude from person who helped me earned them a lower rating from my previous review. She was definitely not in a good mood. It was not only the fastest and most horrible pedicure I had in a long time it was also a bad color. I asked to change it to a darker shade she was not pleased. Then told me plain and simple that’s it. I will not change it again if you don’t like it. Well I didn’t. now I can tell what the problem is. They dilute their products so much so they all look like transparent resemblance of a color. Won’t be back. Highly suggest to stay away too many better places in Bethesda to choose from.
I had a very good experience at V Salon in Bethesda! Tammy was incredibly friendly and attentive, and she did a fantastic job on my nails. As a first-time visitor, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. I will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!

Came here in a pinch. What a mistake. No attention to detail in terms of shape, length, polish technique. Very sloppy even after asking to fix. Would avoid.

I honestly think this is the best pedicure I've ever gotten. It's so neat and shiny and Tweety found me the perfect color when I told her what I was looking for.

Terrible! I booked an appointment for manicure and pedicure with Viviane. To my surprise, I was told the appointment was booked for the following day (I had specifically requested the day because of travel plans). The ladies said they could not do anything about that error from their end. “Yeah, it’s going to be tomorrow”. I basically had to deal with the mistake - as in walk away. Very dismissive and zero accountability! Luckily there are many other nail salons! Waste of time - do better!

I visited here once a few years back and a couple of times recently. The nail techs are nice and welcoming, but my most recent experience is the reason I won't go back. I had a gel almond-shaped set that cracked within 24 hours. A few more cracks and two broken nails occurred within a week. When I went back to the salon to explain what happened and ask for a nail removal, they did not appear apologetic. I was told that almond-shaped nails break easily, but I have never had this issue with previous almond-shaped nail sets from other salons. The woman who removed my nails cut one of my nails to the point where it bled. I was also left with uneven nails that I had to fix myself when I got home. I did appreciate them for not charging me for the removal, but the whole experience was very uncomfortable.

Very kind proprietors. Relaxing space. Love that it's a neighborhood salon.The reason I rated at a 2 is because my gel manicure lasted 24 hours. 3 nails are chipped.Lovely people, but I won't be back.

My go to. Whenever I have an event coming up or a trip, I go to V Nails to look my best. Pricing is fair and you aren't paying for a fancy name or a "modern nail bar" ploy but actual good quality service. I usually get gel which lasts me up to a month, and the regular polish about 2 weeks. Definitely recommend this place!

I stopped in on a whim since I had an hour to kill. Hannah took her time and did a relaxing pedicure, making it worth the price. Tweedie cracked jokes and made me feel welcome. I asked the manicurist to quickly do my nails since I didn't have much time left, and she did an amazing job in a short time. Clean, no bubbles, no cuts, and neat. They have a great selection of colors.
