I would give zero stars if I could. I realized after buying my new ,my salesperson did not share pertinent info with me which would have actually changed my mind as far as buying the model I did. Paul the general manager is rude. I discovered after buying my car they had put on my car tracking device, charging me 695.00 . Why would they do this when VW gives the buyer one factory installed? And it's free for 5 years! I argued with Paul over this relentlessly until he agreed to refund my money for it. He claimed the one he puts on his cars are far better than the one VW puts on for free! Bull crap! To me it was just another way to get money from a car buyer! Totally a scam. Dante the sales manager is just awful when it comes to returning phone calls and following through . I can't tell you how many times I leave a message with zero return calls. If you want to buy a VW go to one of the other dealerships in the area!

Dealership tried to charge twice for a repair. Recall of air bag. Required work replace clock spring located next to airbag which would require removal of steering wheel and airbag. When I complained about the double charge for labor they agreed not to charge for labor and proceeded to upcharge for the part, 2 other dealers charge $354 for part $ I was charged $600.

I’ve had incredibly poor experiences both at the dealership and at the service department. I was quoted a price and returned to pickup my car and told 30% higher only to be told “oh we made a mistake”. Multiple issues drove me to lease me next Volvo from DARCARS Rockville and had a considerably better experience all around.Service: Body & Trim

They schedule appointments and then when you show up at the correct time (including at 8AM on a weekday), they then tell you that they need to reschedule. For some reason, they don't understand why it's important to contact customers to inform them of this. Instead they just let people show up only to find out once they've arrived that the appointment needs to be rescheduled. This wastes the customer's time and is extremely inconsiderate. Management seems to be dysfunctional here. Will be exploring alternatives in the area so I don't have to deal with them in the future.

Wow. Where to start. It took three trips to finally fix the airbag light that was giving me an error code. It only took three trips back to fix the anti theft issues the service team tripped with the head unit when they finally replaced the airbag. It totaled to 10 days without a car to finally get the issue fixed, and five follow up trips.

Possibly the worst car service center I have ever experienced. Without fail, there is no communication. They are always late. And could care less about your time. I have been stuck using them for 4 years now. I had to take my atlas in for a recall repair today. Made an appointment on Monday. Dropped it off last night. Finally called back at the end of the day as I was told it was an hour-long fix, and no one had called all day, and of course they hadn't even started it. Usually you wait 20 or more minutes to pick up a vehicle. That's when they tell you the free car wash is broken. In 4 years, I haven't had a single car wash at this place. I will never buy a VW again solely because of this service center. Atrocious service at every single visit.

Got a real nice car from here. Easy transaction quick and the best part I didn't have the salesman ride woth me and my family on the test drive. 1 place I went to salesmen drove with us and just ruined it. My salesman did not do that. Once I remember our salesman name I'll post him but he definitely took care of us.

I had a notable experience at this Volvo location. Staff at the front desk and auto parts department were quick and courteous. Will was especially helpful with replacing my side mirror. 5/5 Thank you!

My daughter (M. Fox) scheduled an appt for 7am , 7/12/23. She was there at 7am. She brought it in because the engine light came on (steady) and she wanted them to tell her why. She made the early appointment in the hope that they could tell her what the issue was before she went into work that morning. Performing a scan with an OBD scanner should take no more than 15 minutes. Her car wasn't seen until 9:20am.When the "Service Advisor" finally came out, he showed her an estimate with the cost of a tune up for her 4 cylinder VW Jetta.$392.92 to replace 4 spark plugs$725.77 to replace 4 coilsI reached out to the "Live Chat" on the website portal. During the chat, I gave my name, phone number and email address. I asked them to have someone give me a call (I left my telephone number).Later the same morning, I called the service department directly, and asked for the service manager. My call went through to the voice mail of Brian Kosovich. In my message I advised Mr. Kosovich of my concerns, and asked him to return my call (left my cell#). I also asked for a copy of the OBD scan report. I have yet to hear from him, nor has he forwarded a copy of the OBD report (I left my email, as well).Meanwhile, the work was performed.I believe this VW service center had dismissed my daughter, as being a young woman there alone, and not only disrespected her by not examining her car until over 2 hours after her agreed to appointed time, but also took advantage of a young woman who wouldn't know what questions to ask before she had the work done.I don't expect VW to offer a fair and equitable resolve to this problem. I've said my piece, and I hope other "yelper" will see this and consider it a warning. That said, in advance of a boilerplate apology and an your offer for ME to call YOU to discuss further, I have left my telephone number twice. If you want to discuss further, you can call me.I am contacting VW HQ Customer Care as well.YelpGoogle RatingsVW HQ, Herndon, VA

Downgrading to 3 stars. Please see the caveat in my initial review and the edit below. I had to come back again and sink even more money into my car for Maryland state inspection reasons and other issues were found. One of those issues was apparently more urgent than they had thought when I was here on may 24th. If they knew that then, then advise me to do it the first time. secondly, my car has had a known issue, since maybe 1 year into when my mom had the car, with the rear passenger side door only opening about 50% of the time. When am I gonna open that door other than when the car is parked? Why was that never marked as an issue before? That's not on Ourisman, but you'd think that if it's a known thing, they would suggest fixing it and not wait for my return after that apparently causes the car to fail MD state inspection. Jason and the service team was great and kept me in the loop the whole time, which was awesome, but little things kept coming up. THey must have transposed my mom's info under my name (she gets her car serviced there) for some inane reason, so I didnt get any text updates until after the second time Jason called, after the car was in the shop, and after giving it to the front desk person. I've got a login on their website and requested the service through there and everything.Speaking of the front desk guy, i had him for the second time in a row. He seemed confused why i was there for service, was very quiet and hard to hear and seemed completely unresponsive to my annoyance that they hadnt taken care of the one issue the first time. He asked for my address, email and phone, which should have already been connected to my service request in the system, and just seemed like he was very green. I'm glad they took my info down properly this time, and the service was overall really good, but many of the interactions overall were frustrating. Including it taking them close to 30 minutes to bring my car up to the waiting area this morning. The young kid who brought it up apologized and said they were really busy in the back, but it takes 5 minutes to run a car up and frankly as a "porter" that's your job. So don't make customers wait 30 minutes and cause one of your coworkers to radio and say: "we need this car up front. Customer is still here...has been waiting over 20 minutes, make it a priority." Also, despite all the work they did, they only gave me $50 discount after all the work they found on top of the stuff necessary for state inspection. That's a small fraction of what I had to pay for the repairs. Come on. Edit: 2 weeks later, at the end of July, I get an email from them reminding me that my wipers were streaking. They hardly are and, yeah, after sinking a combined ~$11k, I'm really inclined to come by for something that is barely an issue. Then, in mid August, i got the same email again. Take a hint.

Went to go get my 6-month maintenance check. I was very pleased with the hospitality. I did not or rather I was not aware of how the process goes after dropping off the car but other than that it was a good experience and I will be back to have them work on my car only. And shout out to Daniel who was the consultant at the time of my car being served.... You rock dude thanks
