I was paying bills online when I noticed that my checking acct. balance had gone down hugely. I called the bank and made an appt. to see somebody about it. I rolled in and Ms. F. took up my case. She was great: both reassuring and utterly competent. She spent well over an hour with me. We were able to cancel the forged check before the person could cash it, and she set up a new checking acct. for me, arranged for me to get new checks on the new account, and freeze the old checking account. I spoke with two bank officers by phone, and a third security officer called me from Georgia later that morning. This was Thursday, and today, Tuesday, I am up and running and able to use the new account. I received the checks yesterday (I paid extra for fast shipping). This service has been fantastic. I can't recommend these people highly enough!

This location should update their hours. I came and online it says this place closes at 2pm. The sign here says it closes at 12pm. I drove 30 minutes because online it says it closes at 2.

This branch is completely dysfunctional. I go to many Wells Fargo locations in the DC metro area and I have ALWAYS received great service and had great experiences. This Wells Fargo fell very short of my expectations. When I first went into this branch, I had difficulties with a teller over a basic request. It was not at all a big deal, so I continued coming in. One teller at the branch stood out from the others. (I will not mention names out of respect for the reputations of others). She was very helpful and provided great service. I began going to this branch more and more often, to the point where I was using their services once a week. After a few weeks of going to this branch, I noticed that the teller I was using (Not going to mention names) never asked for my debit card or gave me a receipt. I did not think much of it then, but in retrospect, it seems very odd. One time, I came in with $300 in one-dollar bills and I asked to exchange them for two hundred dollar bills and $100 in rolled coins. The transaction went smoothly. As usual, I was not given a receipt. I still did not think much of it until the next time I came into the bank. As I was entering the facility and getting into line, the teller that helped me complete my previous transaction called me out in front of all the other customers and staff. She loudly said, "You owe me a hundred dollars,". Needless to say, I was very confused. I could not imagine what she was referring to. I was also embarrassed because all eyes in the bank turned on me. It was completely inappropriate for her to call me out in the manner that she did. When it was finally my turn, she informed me that when she counted her cash in her drawer, she was short of $100. She then accused me of being the one that shorted her. She demanded that I fork over $100 to her and made me feel very small. I made the poor decision of handing over the hundred dollars. I argued with her for many minutes and demanded an explanation as to why I was accused of shorting her 100 dollars. She came up with no evidence. After carefully deliberating overnight, I decided to return to the branch to make a formal complaint. I first went up to the teller and demanded to see security camera footage of my original transaction where she claimed that I shorted her. She told me she would have it available 3 days later. I came to the conclusion that I was held responsible for her shortage because of my transaction not being on the record. No matter what, A CLIENT SHOULD NEVER BE BLAMED FOR A TELLER'S FAILURE TO KEEP TRACK OF CASH, ESPECIALLY IF THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE. At this point, the discussion between me and the teller was morphing into a spectacle. Another teller came over to see if she could help. I explained the situation to her and she told the teller to give the hundred dollars back to me. I was not at all expecting to get my hundred dollars back, but after being told, the teller passed it back. It felt very awkward that all of this happened off of the record. I left with my money and have not been back to this branch since. To make matters worse, it smelled inside the building. I highly recommend all other local Wells Fargo locations, especially the Hungerford Drive and Congressional Plaza ones. Do not waste your time at this branch, even if it means you have to drive further.

This bank is crazy. Stay away unless you want to stand in line forever. Bankers are on the sidelines not really trying to process you through. Difficult understanding the strong accents.

BE AWARE!!!! I SEE WHY WELLS FARGO DEALER SERVICES HAS ALL POOR REVIEWS!!!! I must say that @WellsFargo should be ashamed to even be affiliated with such a terrible third party yet alone allow them to use your name. I'll never bank with @Wellsfargo or recommend @WellsFargo. TERRIBLE PEOPLE RESULTING IN TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Step by Step on how Wells Fargo Dealer Services well screw you out your money. 1. They lock people in to these High Interest Loans 2. They do not take responsibility for there mistakes 3. All there representatives are incompetent and lack training 4. Supervisors are just as bad. Don't care about the customers. All I can say is avoid the headache and DO NOT bank with Wells Fargo or their 3rd party branches like Wells Fargo dealer services. I never heard of a bank admitting to there systems giving a wrong pay-off quote but not willing to acknowledge it. All they say is Sorry buddy you're S.O.L. They don't care how much they inconvenience you by going back in forth with there incompetent representatives for hours, going back and forth to the banks talking to reps who don't even respect the dealer service branch. All they'll say is they're a 3rd party. They're not even a true part of Wells Fargo but yet Wells Fargo allow them to utilize there name, logo, and brand. WHAT A JOKE!!!! I wish I could give them 0 stars. All I can say is See Ya. I'm so happy to be leaving Wells Fargo and going to @NavyFederalCreditUnion where they actually care about there customers. Hopefully this review will help save some others from the torture you'll undergo by dealing with Wells Fargo and/or Wells Fargo Dealer Services. Be sure to watch your account and record all payments and invoices. Wells Fargo should change there name to Wells Loan Sharks. SMH. BE AWARE!!!! Even the manager will not assist you. Good Bye & Good Ridden Wells Fargo #WellsFargo #LoanSharks #WellsFargoDealerServices #TerribleBussines #Complaints #TerribleReviews

The wait was made better by Nellie. Branch Manager gave G Nellie as we waited to open her first bank account. This gesture put faith back in our wait to open her account. Way to go Wells Fargo! Teaching kids about the value of $$
