“Im from out of town. Ive been working so much that ive been missing deadlines to send off payments so since i passed this post office I figured why not send what i have on me, off now? However, it was a Saturday and literally 30 seconds until closing when i walked in. The lady of course had to abide by the rules etc of her job so in no way was I expecting to be pitied enough to have them open back up for me to give her my mail etc. But as I was heading back out, I asked if I put my mail in the box if it would still get shipped today or if i just shouldn't bother. She was kind enough to tell me that she would check the box again in 2 or 3 minutes to see it anything was forgotten. No she did not re open anything, or do anything against her rules, but she was kind enough to do what she knew still could be done. Instead of just trying to rush out and say sorry ive been opened all morning ..etc etc. So this is why ive rated a post office 5 stars. Lastly, during my quick in & out rush, I did see the inside. Everything seemed very clean and organized. Even the counter where everyone pulls out slips and stops to write their address in their mail etc. Totally organized.
