Our room was beautiful! The beds were SO comfortable! The bathroom was absolutely spectacular! Breakfast was delicious. All of the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help in any way we needed. You absolutely must try the scones! I very highly recommend INN BOONSBORO. I will be going back.

Inn BoonsBoro is a great place to stay! Located in Historic BoonsBoro, each room was named and delicately decorated to reflect descriptions of a literary couple. Guests can access the library and enjoy many books. The dining room and reception area were beautiful, welcoming, and full of delicious goodies. All the staff were very friendly and offered exceptional services with genuine care. We also really enjoyed the breakfast (freshly made in the kitchen!). It’s a cute and homey Inn worth a visit!

As far as McDonalds go, this isn't a top choice. Drive through is regularly painfully slow, order issues are pretty consistent. But, it's the only convenient drive through in the immediate area so...it is what it

We stayed here end of November from Tuesday - Thursday. One night there was another couple, the other two nights we were the only guests. It was pretty awesome! We absolutely loved the atmosphere and ambiance of the whole place. Between 5-7 every evening they put out wine and charcuterie. The first night we came back too late & missed it. Didn’t make that mistake again! The breakfast all three days was absolutely delicious. There was a small appetizer followed by the main course. The first day the appetizer was an apple muffin with butter cream icing followed by a mushroom and cheese frittata. Second mornings breakfast was custard with orange slices followed by scrambled eggs with sausage and potatoes. The Third breakfast was raspberry puree topped with granola followed by fried eggs over mixed vegetables and sausage.Did I say we loved the breakfasts there? Each room has a different name out of Nora Roberts books- along with individualized soaps, lotions, conditioners and shampoo. We stayed in the Westley & Buttercup room - and loved the gas fireplace at the foot of the bed. The staff were all super kind and friendly. Highly recommended staying here!

Stayed here many times over the years. Always had a wonderful time. Karen, Michelle & Kelsi always went above & beyond for guest and caring for the Inn. Was just there recently and was very disappointed in the customer service and breakfast being served . Very unprofessional staff except for Bobbi who was very friendly and accommodating during wine and cheese. Breakfast was mediocre at best and service was anything but friendly. While I love the Inn, for the cost of a stay, staff needs to be trained better and breakfast needs to be stepped back up to where it was before. Sad when you don’t appreciate great workers and think they can be replaced with just a body!!Rooms: Room are beautiful, each with their own unique scent!

What a fabulous place. My wife and I stayed there for our 25th Anniversary in Jane and Rochester. Everything was just wonderful, the attention to detail is off the charts. The staff was great, the breakfasts absolutely delicious, and everything about our room was awesome. Best place I have ever stayed but my wife would like some Dr Pepper in the fridge when we come back next time.

My wife and I recently stayed here for our anniversary, and it was amazing. The Inn is a beautiful building and they have a great staff. From the tour of the facility they provide at check-in to the breakfast in the morning, everything was perfect. Never started breakfast with a dessert before, but I am a fan! My wife loved the one dish so much she asked if she could have the recipe and they happily provided it. If you are looking for a B&B in the outskirts of Frederick MD, you can't go wrong staying here. One note, the fire house is directly behind the inn. If there is a fire call the station siren will sound. Luckily for us it did not go off during the middle of the night while we were there, but be prepared as it could wake you up.Rooms: The rooms are the best part, they are large and well decorated. The bed is comfortable, my wife actually commented on how well she slept on it. And she actually checked to see what brand pillows they used because she wanted to buy some. But the most talked about thing is the bathroom. It is about the size of a small bedroom. It had a very large glass walled shower, a large raised tub, an automatic toilet with bidet, heated floors and a heated towel rack. My wife wanted to stay longer just for the bathroom.

Beautiful, great service, but incredibly noisy (couldn't sleep!)First - the room was beautiful, and I especially loved the bathroom (amazing tub and toilet from the distant future). The staff really cares about the place and your experience and it shows. Fantastic! Very romantic atmosphere, and if you're familiar with Nora Roberts (like my girlfriend), you'll love staying at a location from her books. However, we couldn't sleep. Two big problems there:1) The bed was incredibly squeaky. Whenever either of us would move even slightly, it would squeak loudly and wake one or both of us. It was a beautiful metal four-poster with draped curtain touches on top. But oh, soooooo squeaky.2) Traffic noise was unbearable. The main street in Boonsboro is lined with close-to-the-street buildings. Every car sound echoes off the buildings, amplifying the noise. Many of the quieter cars weren't terribly intrusive (they have double-pane windows that helped there), but there are *many* pick-up truck owners in the area, many of which are extremely loud to begin with. Every 10-15 minutes or so, throughout the night, a loud one would stop at the light outside the Inn and roar their engine when the light turned green. Occasionally we'd hear what sounded like a racer-wannabe-with-a-bad-muffler which would be even worse.I also have to say, from the point of view of a progressive/liberal, the town itself felt *very* unwelcoming, based on the residents' decorations and offensive flags flying. (Some "thin blue line" flags and one that said "Biden's Lies Matter" in the "Black Lives Matter" style). We saw one Pride flag; I can only assume they get a lot of grief from their neighbors. If you do go (again, the Inn is beautiful and service is great), check with them on which rooms are farthest from the main street, and ask about how squeaky the bed is.We won't be repeating.Rooms: Beautiful room. We stayed in "Titania and Oberon", which is unfortunately at the front of the hotel next to the street. Other rooms farther from the street *might* be quieter, but we don't know.Nearby activities: Great bookstore across the street! The pizza place (Jeovanni's) across the street has great service and food. There's a gift shop and some antiques as well.Food & drinks: Breakfast was fantastic, and they were extremely considerate of food allergies.
