The training that I received at Ridgeside was exceptional. Kevin is knowledgeable and professional. I will use this facility in the future. I highly recommend this facility for a broad spectrum of firearms training.

Ridgeside firearms was awesome. The instructor is very competent and knows a ton and there seems to be plenty of room for additional classes with the same instructor. The classroom is very nice and comfortable and instructor has a good sense of humor but knows how to teach the content in a way that will stick. The instructor wasn’t judgmental at all especially when we made mistakes drawing from a holster. I also learned so much about Maryland law and having the proper mindset to carry a firearm. I will likely be back for the instructor’s defensive gun use classes. Sign up. You won’t regret it.

It's been over 30 years since I have shot a pistol so I thought it would be best to take the basic pistol course. I am so glad I did. Kevin was GREAT!!! He was very professional, took everything seriously, yet made it fun to learn. He helped tweak my grip and gave me more confidence to handle a pistol. The classroom environment was very well laid out and safety was of the utmost importance. I highly recommend for anyone, even if you had prior experience handling a pistol, to take this course. Informative, professional, and most of all fun. Kevin also made me feel like a friend that I can contact anytime with a question or concern as well as assistance with future firearm recommendations.

You’ll get a lot of valuable information about Maryland gun ownership rules and regulations. I would highly recommend getting your HQL or whatever you’re looking to get.
