Every year my BJ's membership fee is automatically deducted from my bank and is sent by bank check to member services. This year, as with other, my payment was forwarded well in advance of the due date only to be cashed and not credited to my account. Money withdrawn from my account on 7/28 but BJ's state they can find no record even though my bank has the endorsement indicating that they cashed the check. Customer service has been unresponsive ignoring many emails and requests to return calls. Today, with the assistance of my bank, we were able to get ahold of the customer service supervisor who was of no assistance as they could not find the payment. During the major cluster, BJ's has suspended my membership and when I asked what could be done about the loss of membership use I was informed that there was nothing that can be done. When I asked for a Manager, this supervisor informed me that she was the supervisor on duty and there was no one they I could be referred to. Angie, Supervisor 09/11/2023 @ 04:20PM EDT.

We had a 9:00am appointment. It’s 9:10am and the doors are still locked. No sign of any employees, at least three other people with appointments waiting outside with us. No one answering phone, no sign of anyone.Update a man who works here just told us laughed at us when we asked what was going on and said that “we really don’t open until 9:30 or 10:00 o’clock” then shrugged like it was our fault they gave us 9am appointments.

Was hassled to join inspire energy the last time I went to this BJ's. I usually place my orders online for pick up but decided to visit the store myself this time. Absolutely regret it. Maybe it's just me but i like to shop in peace. I informed the sales man that I wasn't interested more than once and still was pulled into conversation.

If I could get a zero I would. My husband's tire had a nail in it. He previously purchased his tire from BJs. He had a 9:30AM appointment and just left out at 11:37AM. He was the only person there. The person working there clearly doesn't want to work. We went to this location because the location in Capitol Heights is trash. Well so it this one. Why does it take one person two hours to fix a nail? He tried to sell four brand new tires to my husband and spent time talking to his co-worker about what shift he was scheduled for. He even stepped outside to talk to his friend for more than five minutes. People complain about businesses shutting down in the area, but the people who work there are a part of the reason. BJs is also a part of the reason because why do you have one person working at a time? That is one reason why Capitol Heights is a terrible location to go to. The employee waited until there were additional customers to then use the excuse to say he was the only person there so it will take longer. These additional people came in at least 25mins AFTER my husband was there. This is so unacceptable.

I have previously purchased tires there before, but if you don't have your paper for issues later, you are out of luck. They will send you to member services because they don't have an online system. Most recently, I purchased tires on 9/25/22. My initial gut feeling was to go with Costco, but I decided to give them another try because in the past the service has been horrible. As of today, I have not received my tires. I called that week to find out where the tires were and all I was told was to wait. I finally got a hold of the manager who said he was looking into it and he would call me back in 2 hours. That 2 hours has turned into weeks. At this point I have purchased my tires with Costco and don't want anything to do with BJ tires. Things still have not improved.

The service at the tire center here was repeatedly bad enough that I canceled my BJ's membership after failing to resolve issues through BJ's chain of management. Three years and I haven't gone back.

This place is trash and what's even sadder is that BJ's knows this place is trash by the reviews but it's not doing anything about it I will not be renewing my membership switching to Costco

I no longer frequent this location, however I wanted to leave a review for this location to spotlight Malik who works in the tire center. He ended his lunch break early to help with putting air in my tires. I want to note that the air pump was malfunctioning and did not have a sign on it that it was not operating. This BJ's location seems to always have issues due to low staff. Malik should be commended for his service.

I didn't know about this location until recently. It was surprisingly NOT busy, tucked away in an area that's almost hidden. I ordered some items for pickup and went inside because I hate waiting in my car unless it's raining or snowing. The in-store pickup area was clear and was very well staffed. An employee greeted me right away and after not being able to print out a receipt, walked me out the store to bypass the receipt checker. The interaction was quick, friendly, and easy. I would definitely order online and pick up in store again.

Bjs is a waste of time. The tire center is a joke. Very unprofessional. The tire center is suppose to open at 9 am however the employee can come in at noon and its ok. When you call they put you on hold then have a attitude when you just want service. Don't waste your time. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else. Management does not care they condone bad behavior. Its impossible to open late every day.

Even if this is your last resort don’t go, figure something else out. Can’t say poor customer service because they never have anyone to assist you. 0/10 do not recommend in the slightest

Avoid this place at all costs. The Tire Center Service in Bowie, MD is complete trash, a piss poor customer service experience. It took me 4 store visits and 8 days to get a replacement tire. It’s honestly pretty embarrassing to think that I actually pay money for the right to be treated poorly. You can get equally affordable tires elsewhere. They don’t even answer the phone.
