I've cried in the parking lot too many times to admit because of the bullshit of this CVS in particular as well as the American healthcare system in general. Go somewhere else.

Their POLICY is to deny ever receiving prescriptions when they fail to fill them within a reasonable time.A doctor once sent them a prescription for pain drops and antibiotics for a (VERY painful) eye injury FOUR TIMES over TWO days and they denied it. It destroyed the doctor patient relationship because the doctor blamed me.Despicable. Negative Eleventymillion stars.Filling a prescription is like pulling teeth. After months of taking 90 minutes plus to answer the phone, the option option now is to drill your way through automated questions. Finally you’re allowed to leave a message. Which they say they’ll respond within several hours. They NEVER respond. (At least they’re upfront now that they don’t answer the phone.).They take DAYS to fill urgent prescriptions. Yesterday and today they kept denying they’d received some prescriptions, so I said I’ll go pick up paper copies and hand deliver them. Suddenly they found them! They said they would fill them by closing at 10 pm. They did not. I left five messages the next day. The doctor’s office got through at 10 am and CVS promised them ready in 15 minutes.SIX hours later I’m in-store. They again deny EVER receiving the prescriptions. I again offered to go get paper copies and firmly asked to see the pharmacist. The answer was just NO. They waited for me to leave the counter but I did not. Id waited 30 minutes in line for the nonexistent prescriptions. They “found them” again. Suddenly one was ready but the other wasn’t because “they’re busy.” They promised it in 15 minutes. Nope. They promised it in another HOUR. I guess I’ll just be here until closing, or I’ll go get the paper prescriptions and start over at another, non-CVS pharmacy? Why should I have to do that for URGENT medications?

They are terrible! My daughter’s pediatric sent the prescription to this location. I did not get a call to inform me of the status of the order, therefore, I went to inquire and I was told my daughter’s prescription could not be filled until the next day. After I insisted, the order was sent to the CVS at 1910 Crain Hwy in Bowie, and I was advised that it would be ready in one hours. I went there two hours later to pick it up and it was not ready; both CVS locations are a beauty! Hire competent people based on merit.

The worst customer service. The slowest, disorganized pharmacy with a drive thru that routinely takes more than 40 minutes to get to the window! Ridiculous. No better at the counter. They don't update your information, they tell you your prescription is ready but they can't seem to find it and then you have to wait for them to fill it. Inappropriate employee conversations happening right at the counter. There is better.

Worst pharmacy ever. They don’t fill all prescriptions at once, they takes hours sometimes days to fill prescriptions, the wait is long even sometimes over 1 hour in the drive thru

I cannot put to words how pitiful this store is! Shelves empty, no open registers only self check out, customer service is nonexistent and the pharmacy/staff are much too happy to be useless. Just close this location already!

In CVS, to pick up a prescription, and as usual, the line is long! At least 10 folks waiting for meds. I asked about staffing multiple times just to be directed to corporate. Corporate sends your concern back to the local branch. There is no accountability.

The male cashiers are rude and unhelpful (when they are at the front). There's never coverage at the front registers. I have never been met with such poor customer service until I shopped there. Your cashier D is a disrespectful young man. I'm NEVER shopping at this location again.

The pharmacy has 0 customer service skills. Asking a question with any of them is always returned with an attitude filled answer. I'd suggest taking your business elsewhere because you won't get quality help/service at this location.

Pharmacy never answers the phone or heeds voicemails. They didn't fill my prescription because it "didn't make sense". Spoiler, it made sense.

This used to be an excellent CVS. Now it is a pain shopping here. The pharmacy is usually fully staffed but it takes a long time to get a prescription filled. It is nearly impossible to call in. Wait times for the pharmacy are somewhat long usually several minutes with a single file line of one or two people (which is typical). Phoning in to the pharmacy is next to impossible to reach a person. You usually need to phone and leave a message. They often take a long time, more than an hour to get back to you. There is a designated lunch break during which time you can't get assistance (I think this is a good idea, but it makes it especially important to get prompt service at other times). They also need to do a better job of indicating when lunch break occurs. For the remainder of the store it is nearly impossible to get a real person to check you out. The machines are a hassle and frequently require assistance from staff to complete the purchase which negates the reason for automated check out.

I’ve attempted to call the pharmacy so many times I’ve lost count it’s ridiculous. Honestly I didn’t understand why it’s was so difficult to get it right

Pharmacy never opens on time on the weekends. The Pharmacist in charge on Saturday mornings (short, brown-skin, very pretty lady) has a nasty and unprofessional attitude and the customer service from the other pharmacy techs is terrible. If you can try to fill your prescriptions at a different CVS or a different pharmacy altogether, do it!

Pharmacy staff is rude and extremely slow. I showed up before their lunch break in the store. There was no other customer behind me. The pharmacy staff literally put the shutter up in my face and said come back in 30 minutes despite the fact there was at least 5 minutes to their POSTED closing time and I had already been waiting. It would have taken less than 3 minutes to hand the already filled prescription.

This has got to be a CVS corporate problem because the staff try but the location is grossly understaffed, depressed and never have I been able to get a prescription on time if at all. No one ever answers phone nor responds to voicemails. Only by going in person will you learn it will take days or that they will never fill the prescription. Very difficult to do for disabled and those ill or just out of surgery. This has been ongoing condition for many years but located in a desirable location. Wish they would close versus perform so poorly.
