Pharmacy service is abysmal, and they always act like they haven’t gotten your prescription. The head Pharmacist is incredibly rude to boot. Go to Walgreens

Abysmal customer service. CVS, please get it together and train your staff on how to be at least average at customer service. You don’t have to treat every customer like a king, but at least show some effort and care into your jobs. I have been here several times and always went to self check out, but today, I had to interact with someone and man…I really wish I could have been able to just go straight to self check out and keep it moving. The store was technically still open and one of the closing shift girls wanted to deny my entry because they were about to close, which I completely understand, but I told her it was literally a one minute transaction and that I needed emergency medicine. Even then, the clock still showed open hours, even if by a few minutes, so you shouldn’t be closing the doors before your hours on google display. Anyways, I stayed true to my word. I was in and out in one minute, literally. I respect people’s time and understand that they have places to be so I tried to be mindful and do a super speed run. In her case though, just the fact that she had to open the door for me got her soooo mad and so she gave me the ugliest attitude…I still thanked her and quickly got in and out as promised. then I still tried to politely thank her as I was leaving and she ignored me and closed the door again with such a nasty attitude. I was in no way mean, disrespectful, or hateful in any way towards her and did not appreciate how she handled the situation. It’d give this store zero stars if I could just off of that interaction. Treat people how you would like to be treated. Period.

This CVS has been through many changes. When it first opened, it was a beautiful store, with nice landscaping, a park bench, and ample parking. Staff and pharmacy were great.
Then greedy corporate CVS put in an ATM near front of store. Crooks saw it and repeatedly broke in and robbed the store of the ATM. CVS allowed the boarded up door to sit for almost a year. "You are what you look like" and it seems that after that, the exterior of the store deteriorated. Paper and trash are always in front of the store. No matter how much employees sweep, the absence of adequate trash receptacles and frequent maintenance, paper will continue to pile up. Neighbors had to "out" the regional area marketing director one day when she was visiting the store just to get the boards finally taken down from the glass entry after the last break-in. Finally CVS has taken away the ATMs.
The store removed the bench and seating area, no doubt due to the homeless and ne'er do wells that started to sit there. So now, the CVS looks like a little ugly fortress, with nothing welcoming about it. That said, when you enter the store, it is very clean and neatly kept, much better than those in Largo, Annapolis and Crofton. The retail manager is fantastic and customer-service oriented, as are the staff he hires to work the retail side of the store. Have been particularly impressed with how neat the store has been this Christmas.
I would love to end on a high note, but there is one more negative. The pharmacy here is an absolute joke. Most of the staff don't care; the managers seem to have no control over their working attitudes. The main pharmacist has zero personality but at least he has improved in manners towards customers. It almost seems like some sort of discrimination---everyone is African and rarely do you see a native American worker. One worker can barely read English and takes forever to process prescription customers, frequently messing up the orders. In frustration, after years of using this pharmacy, I transferred my account.
So, if you need to stop in for a retail item, this store is okay. Would not get prescriptions here. All the CVS's are becoming wacko pharmacies. I witnessed an almost fight at the one on Riva Road between the pharmacy manager and a customer. Staff are overworked, underpaid, and ill-trained. Add that to CVS pharmacy benefit managers who deny everything and there is just no reason to even try to get prescriptions here.

I would give 0 if I could... Extremely poor customer service and all employees have an attitude. Started with pharmacy that didn't acknowledge me for 5 minutes at the consultation counter, and then when they did they made it seem like such an inconvenience to help me. Then when trying to check out, the cashier/helper was doing her nails and clearly saw I was having trouble at the register, although just ignored me. when I asked her for help, I guess she tried, but after technical difficulties with my CVS card, she simply walked away and told another employee that it wasn’t working, and didn’t even say sorry or attempt to help with my coupon. It is very sad in today’s society that is becoming the normal.

The personnel are extremely friendly, accommodating and professional. It's a delight to shop in this store. Always well stocked, easily accessible. AND if cleanliness and neatness are issues for you, you will find this store a wonderful respite.

Awesome customer service. The team treats you like a valued customer from the time you enter the store, until the time you leave. That means a lot to me, the consumer.

CVS seems to avoid sending ADHD medications to this area. My sons went unmedicated for MONTHS this year while waiting on "backorder". Sent the prescription to a pharmacy in a more affluent area and it'll be ready Thursday.
I'm pissed. I'll be seeking legal counsel.

Everytime I come here panhandlers are allowed to stand at the door to ask for money, I come here at least 4 times a week its bothersome and should be stopped.

As part of our medical office staff, I must address concerning issues regarding CVS Pharmacy's (on Crain Highway) service quality. Our patients have faced delays in medication refills, encountered frequent stock shortages of common medications, and experienced interactions with poorly trained staff. Of utmost concern is the pharmacy's tendency to delay important medication orders for long-term patients. Such lapses undermine patient care and confidence in CVS Pharmacy. I do hope my review entices them to provide better service to patients.

The pharmacy customer service is terrible. I went to the pharmacy drop off and waited for the clerk to address me and no time she looked my way and addressed my presence. Then moments later the phone rang and she began speaking on the phone and not addressing me as if I was bothering her. This happened at March 1, 2024 at around 5pm. I think it's being very disrespectful. I really believe she should of stayed home if she didn't want to come in or get a job where she would enjoy, but keep out of the public eye

Entering CVS property & parking lot is an assault on the eyes. There’s so much litter on both sides of the driveway & into the parking lot, near the store entrance & overflowing trash cans, it’s truly disgusting! Seems CVS management chooses to ignore the negative impacts of trash on human & environmental well-being. Shame on you! I will boycott the store, & will encourage friends & neighbors to do so until you clean up your act.
