I went to DARCARS for an alignment after scheduling an appointment a couple days prior to my visit to the shop. From the time I called, the staff member was very polite and professional in providing options for me to come in. The appointment was right on time and my service advisor was wonderful! I wish I remember her name aside from her workstation was the last one towards the exit. I had a couple extra request and questions, and she was very accommodating. I even asked to speak with the technician to explain the services her provided. Within a few minutes, he came out to walk me through so that I understood how the wheel were aligned and the price for service was clearly stated without pressure to have the work down. Definitely recommend to others and the positive reviews from other customers were accurately as provided. Good job, Service Department. Oh, the young ladies who checked me for payment were wonderful as well.

BUYER BEWARE (ALEX /Parts manager):I recently came here for a value cover bolt for my Honda. The part was not in the current inventory. I had to pre-pay to get the part into their inventory. While waiting for the part to arrive to their location, I went online and got the same part the very same day.I went back to pickup the part and to let them know that I would not need the part and just would like a full refund as I did not take delivery of the part. Well ALEX (the parts manager) told me that I would be responsible for a 20% restocking fee. IN THIS CASE I LITERALLY JUST GAVE THE DEALERSHIP 20% JUST BECAUSE. I NEVER TOOK OWNERSHIP OF THE PART!If I was told this in the beginning then I would have NEVER ordered this part from DARCARS Honda Part Center.Moral of this review: Whatever you buy from this location make sure that you actually need it.... as you will NOT GET A FULL REFUND regardless of the circumstances!BTW I gave 2 stars because JASON at the parts desk is really helpful and knowledgeable.I encourage people to leave more reviews for this place as the reviews really speak to the experience that you will have when you visit a place such as this.IF YOU NEED AUTO PARTS go to rockauto / parts geeks....but do not go to DARCARS Honda Parts Center in Bowie, MD and stay clear of ALEX (the Parts Manager).

I had an oil change appointment this Saturday at the Honda location in Bowie. I was informed I would get a call when the car would be available . It was 5 pm when I called because no one ever call me, no messages or email . I was informed by the receptionist that the department was closed! I would need to call back on Monday! I work Monday thru Friday from 3 am to 2 pm. So you are telling me this department is so unprofessional or inexperience or worst incompetent that they didn't think of calling the remaining cars left in the garage before they close for the weekend ! So now I am left to loose a day at work! I need to know how I can send my complaint to corporate so they know what kind of people they have working in their shops. Who is going to pay me for my lost day ( I don't get payed for lost days) . Or at least given the option of a rental car while they have my car hostage! All I heard was " sorry sir you'll just have to call Monday"! Unacceptable!

This place is super shady. We brought my wife's car hear and told them the battery was dead, but they still had to have a technician run up a check, just to tell us it was the battery.Service took them 2 days, and when I went to pick up the car. After being told the night before that it was ready. A guy told me it wasn't ready yet, and they'd call us when it was. We called the lady who had initially helped us, and she told us that the car was actually ready from the night before. The keys and paperwork were on her desk when she got to work. They were also sitting there when we walked in to pick the car up...She was very helpful and apologetic and said that the manager had given us a discount for the inconvenience. However when we got the bill the price was still the same as we were initially quoted.The associate we picked up the car from gave us some BS about how there were certain fees removed, but at the end of the day if I get something that cost 1 dollar, and you give me a discount that makes the price stay at 1 dollar, how do you call that a discount? We already got conned into buying the car, with a bunch of shady tactics by the sales team. So I don't know why we expected anything less from the repair team. I can't wait to be done with this car so we can wash our hands with this place. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

I attempted to get my car serviced at Darcars Honda of Bowie and the customer service experience is beyond horrible. I arrived at the center at 7:45am and was told there was a 2 hour wait which I agreed too. After waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes I went to the Service Advisor's desk to inquire about my car and the anticipated completion time. Initially the person ignored me until I said something after the second time. I'm LIVID my car has been seen by a Technician for a tire inspection to address the low tire pressure issue. I seriously regret purchasing a car and service plan from this particular dealership. I have purchased from Darcars in the past from other manufacturers and have NEVER encountered anything like this circus of a establishment. As of writing this statement my car may just been taken back for service at 10:19am. I have a Securcity system which informs me of ignition starts. Needless to say STAY AWAY from this location unless you have unnecessary time to waste!!!! At the minimum someone should've communicated the status. I will be requesting a full refund. Update I'm just now receiving my car at 11:20 am

It is almost impossible to get anyone in service to answer the the phone ever. I have never experienced such poor service before. I dont think it is that difficult to have someone answer and / or return calls. The only people who answer are the sales dept and parts. Aside from that, it as if no one works there.
