I’ve read reviews about them stealing money passively through things like broken air pumps and gas pumps that run air before the gas even comes out.
Today 6/12/25, I redeemed a couple of scratch-off tickets and was supposed to get $166, but the cashier only gave me back $136. When I confronted him, he said I was wrong — until I told him I had photos of my tickets so I started matching all of them up. Then suddenly…he found the missing ticket and “forgot to scan” it…….right. That’s when I also reminded him he shorted me $5 a few weeks ago on another scratch off ticket, and that’s when he claimed he’d never seen me before and that it was someone else working. I said no, it was you (he had a distinctive face). That’s when he slipped up and said that I came last time just to get money and not buy anything — so clearly he did remember. He was just mad that was my only business there.
They are thieves!! Count your money and double-check everything if you’re gonna come here. Otherwise I’d just drive 30 seconds more and go to Shell or the other exxon. Lived in Bowie for 20+ years and never experienced something like this. Crazy!

Went in to redeem my scratch offs and cashier wasn’t giving me the full amount. He tried to keep $25 dollars to himself. That is crazy, don’t shop here they try to steal your money. And looking at the other reviews I’m not the only person he does this too.

Cannot release gas pump handle once it starts pumping gas. Don’t come here if u want to put a specific amount in your tank! Place is wack bro

DON'T USE THE AIR PUMPS. Instead of adding air it released air and left me with a tire almost flat. Had to call AAA to get my tire filled up.

Pumps need to be serviced or upgraded. It takes a very long time to pump your gas.

Please fix your air pumps. Instead of Adding air it realeses air. It could have caused damage to my tire wheel and air pressure sensors. Really not right at all. Or just put out of service on it instead of letting people pay for it then it makes it worse.

Nonexistent customer service. When I walked in, there was no one near the register at the front of the store. There were two employees working at the very rear of the store handling lottery sales. After standing there for several minutes with not even a greeting, I walked to the back of the store and asked if anyone could help me. One of the men acknowledged that they will be coming shortly. Several minutes later, the man slowly center is out of the bag and begin chatting with another customer Who had come in after me. When I asked at that time if I could be home as I have been waiting for quite some time, Luton told me to give him a minute. I understand that things get busy, but this is not a busy day and Liton made no effort to acknowledge my presence in the store or help me with my purchase in a timely manner. After reading other reviews, it seems like there’s a lot of shady stuff going on at this place. I’d recommend avoiding it Altogether. The Sunoco across the street was much better.
