Free State Shopping Center is a Bowie staple strip mall with a wide variety of businesses. It includes a Giant grocery store, restaurants, bargain department stores like TJMaxx and Ross, an animal hospital, salons, a dollar store, a liquor store, a coffee shop, and Bob's Discount Furniture. The parking lot can be a little chaotic. Reviews note it is always clean but have mixed opinions on specific stores. Service at the Giant is noted as great, even on snow days. One restaurant visit reported a late order but praised the polite and resourceful service that comped part of the tab.
I visited bobs discount furniture and the sales rep who attended to me was super patient and a top notch professional. The store really has nice and affordable furniture. I will definitely make a purchase from the store

Kwik Way has excellent food, and the staff is nice, reasonably priced choices

The giants there is great and I used to work at the Tjmaxx…. Highly wouldn’t recommend it but it’s still a place to shop. Ross is not the place to shop however as they have lower quality goods!
