Left a deposit on counter top installation. 4 days later a refund shows up on CC used. Called Bowie Lowes. They couldn't answer why the deposit was refunded. They gave me a number to call and was told they could not install in my area. Ridiculous. Why would they not tell me at time the deposit was taken!!. Stay away !!!!!

No issues with this store. They have a good stock of items you might need. I like their garden center in the warmer weather. Their app is also good as you can buy online and pick up, scan to see prices in store, and earn rewards which give you $5 off. If you need to spend the money anyway, why not get some back.

Every time I come here they don't have what I need. They seem to always be out of stock of everything. There across the street competitor most of the time seems to have what I need.

Like most of the time.need 4things but can only get 1.today needed two flashlights and two rolls of bubble wrap and only had one roll of bubble wrap.thats a 75% failure rate.

This Lowes consistently disappoints me and it is sad because I want the stores in the area to do well because I'm a home owner and have lived in the area for years. This time, I went to get acrylic cut to reinforce glass shelving; the employee (Felix) was uninformed, lazy and it was clear he did not want to help. First he told me that he wasn't sure if they had acrylic (really???), then when we got to the section, he said the sheet was too big; when I asked him to place it on the cutter, he was visibly annoyed, but places it any way. Magically, it fit (right, what a coincidence); he then told me the blade couldn't handle the thickness of the material and that I should do it on my own. Zero help.
Do better Lowes.

The location in Bowie Md... is coming up in terms of their organization & neatness. Their selection of older - more approachable employees- has made the shopping experience more enjoyable.

I just left Lowe's in Bowie and wanted to buy an electric stove. I had the measurements and wanted the same model that I had and was damaged. The person who helped me from afar told me that he couldn't give me a stove like it was a refrigerator, that he needed to go through a measurement process and that he was busy. This is the last time I go into a Lowe's to try to buy something. Maybe he thought that because I was Hispanic I didn't have the money to buy, or he couldn't get close to me to explain it better, Then I asked another person who was somewhere else and she told me that she didn't understand why he didn't want to help me and he got a call and he answered it and left me waiting... he was already helping me and then he left me there 🤦♂️ I will find a place to buy my stove.

Man it never fails with Bowie Lowe's. Every time I come here I wish I drove farther to go to one of the other Lowe's. This time it was to get fuel and the website said they had a hundred of a certain size in stock. You would think if the site says there are a hundred in stock there's a pretty safe bet there should be some. But there were zero.

The employees will help you in this area so you wouldn’t have to wait hours to get something from the top shelf like some home improvement stores in the area plus they’re friendly & seem to want to help even if you don’t need it .The plumbing aisle can be a little unorganized & chaotic but the employees will assist you .Overall good experience

As far as home improvement stores go, the store was reasonably well-stocked and fairly easy to locate my merchandise.
Unfortunately, store personnel seemed understaffed.
Overall, this Lowe's location met most of my expectations and I will return.
