On a Friday…why is there one person running the drive thru line and working as the only front teller ?? Make it make sense it’s ridiculous and management obviously need to be reevaluated

I try not to go to my local branch in Bowie and travel to Odenton for banking. The other day we stopped by the branch as we were told we had to personally come in to handle our business. The teller was SOOOO unhelpful and kept repeating that they close at 4p. We arrived at 3:20p. Finally, Salina came out of her office and promised me a callback before leaving on Monday. No callback. Stay clear of this branch as there is NO customer service. They act like you are bothering them to do their jobs. Sad, as M&T is a good bank. The Odenton branch helped me within 5 minutes.

The staff at the Bowie location is great, knowledgeable, friendly and always helpful. My husband and frequent the bank for business, the staff knows my husband by name and always goes the extra mile to ensure top tier customer service!!!

I just left the bowie branch and the customer service from the teller was awful! Awful!! Her negative energy was so bad from the beginning. I only asked if they stopped doing the money order or is it just the cashier check? She got so defensive and ask me who told me that info? Who cares!The worst, I have banking for my business for more than 10 years. They always ask me if I want my check in an envelope.I only said incredible awful service. She had to scream what I just said . really! Awful professionalism

Their lack of polite customer service experience everytime is crazy! I go to the drive thru or inside always an issue. So I rather just go to the ATM to avoid the hassle of someone annoyed about their JOB helping me! First they don’t even greet you just assume your transaction than if their confused they ask what you need as if I didn’t call the first time to speak to them to let them know & they ignored me honestly fed up. It’s the closest location to me but I rather travel the distances . Even thinking of switch all my stuff over to Navy federal never get the unnecessary RUDENESS! Smh

Waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes tonite with 1 car in front of me. Finally backed out and left. Pretty much done banking at M&T now that this is my local branch.

Walked into the bank to openba NEW account. Waited 5 min before the teller in front of me acknowledged me. I'll be with you jn just a moment, she said. I said okay, I am here to open a new account. Now mind you, I WAS THE ONLY ONEVIN THE BANK BESIDES THE 5 WORKERS INCLUDING 2 TELLERS. 5 more minutes went by. The phone rung she answered, and then continued with what she was doing. There were two ladies in the office. They both saw me, and nodded. I continued to wait for the teller. I decided to leave after a total of 15 min. Bottom line if this is how perspective customers are treated I don't need that type of service. I went to Capitol One and was helped immediately.

Today, I have received terrible customer service in M&T Bank. I am a VIP customer with this bank, visiting for large deposits multiple times a week. The vice president of the Bowie branch, Marie Hightower has treated me very rudely and was extremely disrespectful. There was a long line of customer, with only one bank teller. I am the manager at a store in Bowie, so I needed to get back to my store. I asked kindly if another bank teller was available, and the vice president of the branch was nothing but rude to me. After I expressed that I'm going to file a complaint about her. She proceeded to laugh at me while saying that she is going to help me complain about her with me. I told her. I didn't need any help to make a complain, she kept laughing at me. This was extremely rude. I asked to have her business card and she said she did not have one. She clearly lied about this; all of her business cards were out in the open for customers to see. After I took her business card, she attempted to snatch the business card out of m hand! This was extremely rude and disrespectful, and a terrible treatment towards a VIP customer. I have video evidence of her treating me disrespectfully. I am extremely displeased from my terrible recent experience from M&T Bank, but more specifically, from the vice president of this branch, Marie Hightower. I hope there will be consequences for her actions as the vice president, Marie Hightower.

This is the worst M&T I won't return. The tellers are incompetent, I've never had a problem with cashing my workers comp check with any M&T. The d*** teller going to tell me she needs my lawyer to sign it cause it was made out to the both of us....like what? so my lawyer has to be present with me cause she would need to see his ID or I could have left and forged his signature which I would never do....I even showed her the number to call if she thought it was fraudulent....when I went to the one in annapolis(my normal M&T they cashed it with no question asked and couldn't explain why the women gave me such hassle....smh if you can go somewhere else please do. There is a reason this bank was empty on a Tuesday morning...

A couple of months ago I visited this branch to deposit a check and to deposit some CANADIAN CURRENCY. There was only one teller in the branch for both drive-thru and Lobby. She was not sure about the procedure of foreign currency transaction, but she was willing to help and friendly. She went to the manager' cabin TWICE for help and she came back and said “Can't do hereâ€.
