I LOVE this location. The customer service is OUTSTANDING!!! Dr. Sanders has THE BEST customer service and she is so personable. Her team is top notch. They are SO helpful, courageous and knowledgeable especially about rebates and specials. If you’re looking for an eye doctor well look no further. All that you need is at the Bowie MyEyeDr.

I went there, March 16 to let them know my glasses that I picked up that Friday wasn’t fitting me right the lady tried to fix it and I kept telling her the glasses do not fit right they were falling off my face and they were tight behind my ear She kept telling me just give it a couple of days and I was telling her that they didn’t fit right they was falling off my face, so I’m asking her. What can she do for me? She told me all there is nothing that she can do for me I will have to purchase another pair of glasses , which I think was very unacceptable. I’ve been to this place before and the people that worked there are not customer friendly. They made me feel very uncomfortable and they were listening to what I said that the glasses didn’t fit right I would never come to your business again, and I will not recommend you to anyone that I know , this place is not friendly at all and quite frankly they made me feel embarrassed because everyone was looking at me and I was telling them the glasses wasn’t fit fitting right and she kept telling me oh well, it looks right on your face I give this place zero stars

Terrible staff, they tell you over the phone that they are going to charge you a 50 dollar co-payment and then they check to see if you have insurance, and if you have it, they charge you 150 to steal Hispanic years, but what about an American, don't let the union be strong

Nancy was amazing, very patient and helpful. Pleasant attitude and just a joy to work with. She represents my eye Dr well!!! She works at store 100 and is AMAZING!

Made my appointment online. checked into my appointment online. showed up ~7 minutes early for a 10:20 appointment only to be told that they double booked the time and that they moved my appointment to 12:40 and they would try to work me in, but if the people with appointments came on time they would take them first. So I made an appointment and arrived on time, but you are telling me that because of your system glitch you want me to sit here and wait and potentially watch multiple people come in and be called in to the doctor before me? No thanks. Take me off your schedule. It's a shame because I really liked Dr. Woody.Update - the owner reached out - so how this went is exactly their policy. They say a verbal confirmation is required for online appointments....even though I confirmed, checked in and provided my insurance info online. To be clear also...when making the online appointment, nowhere online did they state this requirement. So no...you've still lost a customer not only because of this but also because of the rude way in which the policy was delivered.

Never again will I set foot in here. I went here to get my glasses adjusted. They broke the frame; I would have liked some warning that frame looked flimsy or something before they attempted it. Anyway, mistakes happen. However, I was very disappointed by how they handled it after. They said they can get me 50% off my next frame that I purchase here if I can get them the prescription that I currently have. I showed them my zenni order with the prescription, and they said they dont take that (why not? This was literally the prescription for the one they broke), and that it's got to be from a certified eye center. Then they said it would be cheaper to just buy the glasses with the current sale going on instead of taking that 50% off. Basically, they are telling me that there's no discount for me even though they broke my glasses. And they said the lead time is 2 weeks for the new glasses!! I literally can't see without my glasses. I asked them to tape up the frame so that I can at least drive back home, then I just ordered new glasses from Zenni again, which arrived within a week, and was cheaper than anything they were offering. Very poor customer service even though they were very much in the wrong.

Arrived just to be told that I did not have an appointment. I was sent confirmation. Finally, the doctor is nice, but the staff needs improvement. I decided to try another location for an eye concern. My experience was much better. Staff and provider were great.

I wish I could rate this location zero stars. I have been coming here for for my vision exams for a very long time. Even when relocating to Spotsylvania, VA, I would drive the two hours for an appointment because I really like Dr. Carmoly Sanders. The Dr. is never the problem. Dr. Sanders is always very pleasant, professional and thorough. She always answers all of my questions, I never feel rushed and I trust her a great deal. It's hard to find providers that you like. And, the fact that I was willing to keep driving two hours is saying something. Her office staff is unprofessional, arrogant and simply useless. I had an appointment scheduled for a Saturday, December 16 at 11:15 and my appointment was cancelled for absolutely no reason. The individual who called me said it was cancelled because they could not confirm that I was coming. Mind you, she had me on the phone the day before my appointment and I told her I am confirming then that I planned to be there. However she informed me that my appointment had already been cancelled... like WTH. I was told that I could simply reschedule or be put or an overflow list, as if I live around the damn corner. I will not be rescheduling my appointment. I will be finding a new provider because I cannot deal with inept, inconsiderate, and incompetent support staff. I cannot stand dealing with ridiculous individuals. Time to find a provider closer to where I live.

Very disappointed in Dr. C. Sanders team in Bowie. I received an email and several texts reminders concerning my appointment for today. I showed up only to be told that someone overbooked my slot online! I explained that I called INTO the location to book my appointment. Which I was told they left me a voice mail asking for me to confirm. My frustration was when I ask WHY didn’t the texts and emails sent to me express a need to confirm??? I was told it’s an ongoing issue and they “have been complaining to corporate.” Really! Did I mention that I took leave today to be seen? Very disappointed and I’ve been a customer for 9-years…

I had terrible service at this location last December. The eyeware consultant took my Maui Jim sunglass order and didn't place it until my husband had his exam 2 weeks later, if it wasn't for him checking they would have never completed the order. It was whole ordeal they did the same thing to his Maui order when he called on the date it was due, he waited another 2 weeks. The manager didn't offer a resolution my husband had to do her job for her and suggest something, they were also hiding the issue from the district manager when they contacted her. The manager Reese told my husband in a rude and irate way that she can take out the lenses right now and give me a refund, I'm sure she trying to get rid of us and not solve the issue at hand. When the district manager finally called me at the "2 month period" because I sent an email about the situation they didn't share with her, she didn't offer any solutions until I did, she was very uninterested in customer service and didn't apologize for the rude behavior of her manager. When I got my sunglasses the prescription wasn't right and I mentioned it from the beginning. It was a whole ordeal as I said and eneded up receiving my sunglasses 4 MONTHS later, that location should lose their Moui Jim privileges because they don't care about those orders. Needless to say I'll have to do business directly with Maui Jim nowadays or a different retailer. Be vary careful going to this location and go in at your own risk.

This location is not run efficiently. There is always a long wait. The selection of eye glasses is also dismal. And finally, they insist upon verbal confirmation for appointments. Furthermore, they have incorporated the ability to book an appointment online as well as to confirm the appointment online (and check in), however the business still cancels appointments if you confirm online and not via phone. I assume since they don't want to leverage technology that they are only interested in servicing a clientele that is 50+ therefore I'll be taking my business elsewhere. People do not answer the telephone anymore because a) we dont like talking to randos, b) this is how people get scammed out of money, and c) those of us with jobs are busy working...

I came to this facility in Bowie Md to have my eyes examined and to purchase new frames. I have been working with the employee by the name of Nancy and she has been helping me throughout my process. Nancy has given me A1 class help and I can’t thank her enough. Her professionalism, personality and attention to detail is awesome. I thank you again Nancy and continue being the person you are.

The doctor is awesome. She takes the time to ensure you have the best eye care. The staff is always friendly and very pleasant. I've been visiting this location for 3 years.
