I recently went to a car from NextCar Wheaton Maryland the sales agent Abdul K***** was very patient also very professional and knowledgeable! Even though my car was not there he worked very diligently to make sure that I had a car for me even gave me a free upgrade because my car was gone Mr. Abdul really went out of his way to put a customer first thank you once again!!

They gave my Rent-A-Car away because I was over two hours late. It was pre-paid from a third-party. Absolutely ridiculous. Lady at the front desk was rude. She said I could sit there and wait for four hours for her boss to get there.

This place doesn't deserve to be in business. The shuttle took about 40 minutes to grab us. And when we got there they said because we were late we no longer had a car. They rented out our reserved already paid for car to someone else. And won't give us a refund.

Do not rent from this place. 3 people walked out while we were there. My son was charged an extra $265 after we returned the car and didn't even find out until his cc was charged for it. They copied and pasted his signature from the rental agreement to the return pg stating they were charging him. Upon the return of the car, the facility didn't even officially make him sign anything. They gave him a thumbs up and was ready to put another s***** in it right away. Bait

4 minutes ago I was really looking forward to Orlando. I got a great rate of $125 and was excited. When I went to check get the car it was over $300. The bait and switch is on. We couldn’t afford the car so the still charged 25 dollar screw you fee. The clear was curt and rude. We are now standing outside getting to figure out what to do. Thank you nextcar for screwing my vacation. BUYER BEWARE they will ruin your vacation

WHAT A SCAM...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY WHATEVER YOU DO!!!! I went to get my rental car (SUV) which I had already reserved online from the MCO Airport location. There were only problems from the minute I walked in. One, I reserved an SUV and got a compact vehicle - this is unacceptable! Something "similar" IS NOT a Nissan Versa. This is false advertising, not what I reserved as I have handicapped family that I need to travel with and beyond frustrating. Then on top of that BS, I was charged an additional $90 for additional insurance coverage which CLEARLY STATES on THEIR WEBSITE - "No insurance verification required for customers flying in who present a valid round trip airline voucher." Even after showing the associates YOUR COMPANY'S exact online statement and my flight tickets, they didn't seem to care one bit. So not only am I being robbed and overcharged, I am driving around a vehicle which does not meet my special requirement needs as this being the sole purpose of this visit. After calling their "customer care", they told me they are a franchise location and they can do what they want...then DON'T solicit that location on your website. TERRIBLE ON SO MANY LEVELS!!!!!!

Crooked! That's all I can say. I booked a one-week rental thru NextCar (aka OneSwitch) at the Miami Airport thru Priceline.com. Priceline reported NextCar as being onsite at the airport. Not true! though they were perhaps a 5-10 shuttle ride from the airport. When we expressed our displeasure at that misinformation and that we were concerned about getting to our flight timely upon our return, we were told that we would be driven in our rental car to the airline departure terminal. Not true! We had to wait for their shuttle, which dropped us off at the onsite rental car return, from which we had to make the long walk to the departures area. Next, we were offered a transponder with which to navigate toll roads at a rate of $17.99 a day. We declined and opted to avoid toll roads instead. Later we found that most rental car agencies charge $4-5 a day for such a transponder. Last but not least, we declined NextCar's daily insurance, as we are well covered. (NextCar even required that we provide proof of insurance, which we did.) What we missed though -- I guess -- is that NextCar's contract has a clause that says that in lieu of the daily insurance rate, we would be charged $5.99 for a "Claim Management Insurance Fee". Pretty slick, eh! ... well, all I can say is, if you want to add to your life experience a real adventure in frustration and fury, rent a car from NextCar, or One Switch, or whatever they call themselves. You won't be disappointed!

The car I received was such a piece of junk I paid extra to upgrade it. Enterprise was out of cars at the time I arrived so I walked up to the NextCar rental desk to make an appointment. I told the woman I needed a car from 8:30am Sunday June 7th until 7:30pm June 9th and she quoted me at $225 for the time I needed the car. When I returned my rental it was around 6:30 on June 9th. After returning I was on my bank app and discovered NextCar charged me an additional $142. The woman at the counter charged me for 2 days instead of three so that the price would look good enough for me to rent and then I got hit on the back end when I didn’t return at 8:30am on the second day (which was never my plan). I called up to speak with the manager (Pam) who was extremely rude to me and at one point even told me to “stop talking”. She was yelling at me so loud at one point one of her employees told her to shut the door of the room she was speaking in. A formal complaint has been filed with corporate. I spend thousands of dollars a year renting cars and have never been treated or spoken to like this before at ANY rental car location. I am also a manager myself and could NEVER imagine myself speaking to ANY CLIENT the way Pam spoke to me. If I could give zero stars I would.

Never rent a car from them they over charged me 6 weeks later after I rented the car I paid 500 bucks for 1 day rental because they said it smelled like smoke they took it out of my bank without permission
