I have been taking my car to this place for oil change (and other services) for many years now. Aside from a one-hour delay one time, my experiences have consistently been positive.

Long story short. Took my car for oil change. Left for 4 hours no call. Came back to to pick up car. Mechanic says they can't change the oil because of a part used to close the oil pan. He says whoever you took to get your last oil change, put the wrong part in and they can’t take it out. I told him the only place I take it to get a oil change, is this location. He looks in the system and notices that the last place I took it was this location. He lifts the car up to show me the part in question he says he can’t take the part out without damaging the oil pan and I will need to purchase a new oil pan. The total will come out to about $400. I went from a $70 oil change to a $400 charge for something that wasn’t my fault. Please don’t go to this gas station they will mess up your car, act like they didn’t do it, then make you pay for it.

This is not an honest business! Read the reviews! I wish I had before coming to get a Md Stare inspection. ($120) My car had 30 day tags with a recent Va state inspection. After I waited for 2 hours (they told me 45 min), I’m told that the car can’t pass because of 2 light bulbs (license plate and left side marker). The labor charged for replacement of these bulbs were $60 each which took them all of 10 minutes. The bulbs were $3 by the way. My total at the end was $252. If I wasn’t in a rush to get to the MVA, I would’ve just taken my car. I live and work near this business. I will let every family member, friend and person know about this rip off.

IF YOU WANT UNAUTHORIZED $100 CHARGES TO BE HOPEFULLY DECLINED BY YOUR BANK, THIS SHELL GAS STATION AT 7000 LAUREL BOWIE ROAD IN BOWIE MARYLAND IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. It happened to us 2 months ago, got an email from our bank that $100 was declined from Bowie Shell, we stopped using this Shell gas station, and the gas station we moved on to pumps weren't working yesterday, so we used Shell at 7000 Laurel Bowie Road again, and again, our bank sent us a card decline email for $100 due to "system error" Declined due to a system issue. Please try again. Transaction amount 100.00 USD Located at SHELL SERVICE S in BOWIE UNITED STATES Date 04/20/2023 03:37 AM US/Pacific . The first time the pump didn't work and we moved on to another pump, this time the pump didn't work and we had to use the clerk. No one answered the phone when I called. Because something fishy is going on with this Shell station, I'm recommending you avoid it at all costs.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERI am just one person and I will usually gives places a shot twice before forming a bad opinion. Ut this was awful and I will never take my car back. They had my car 4 days and just did front brakes and an oil change. The price was more than the dealer estimated they never called me and I had to co tinge to call them and they left Friday without calling me or letting me know my car would be there over the weekend because they don't work and no one knew anything about my car. I called Monday and said I must have my car back today. When they finished it I received a call to come get my car when would I be there to pick it up. When I got there and voiced my concern I received and apology from the manager and that was it. As I said it cost more than the dealer. This place isn't worth a second chance and I will be seeing if I can find the owner.

Each time that I have been to Shell the staff has been very nice and kind and supportive. This staff today was amazing . Blessings to them for lifting my spirit.

Employees from the service station will stand 10 feet away from you and watch you swipe your card for an air compressor that doesn’t work. Complete rip off. I’ve never been to a shell station that wasn’t up to something shady.

while ago I went there for oil change they damage under car cover . I went back and ask what happened they said oh u probably drove on something… of course won’t admit they did itIf I drove on something there would be scratched and damages would be differentI only been to them for service since got this car no other place.Never going back there and not recommending to anyone.

Random guy parked in front of gas pumps not pumping gas and manager standing right there watching. I observe a family pull up to pump gas so I ask the manager " in front of person blocking pumps,do you support this and why don't you ask them yo move or at least pull up to next pump . This pos straight up said " n***** don't worry bout what I'm doing" I assume Vietnamese. Told him to say it to my face while he is in a customer's car . This lil bish calls the police. Told him to make sure he gets the right tag number and went about my business . Keep in mind this is the local gas station rips new you a new hole to fix your car for some simple low cost repair . How the hell is this rip off artist in BOWIE . I thought this was an outstanding community. Sad thing is I'm also Asian . Sad

I came here sometime last year to get my spare tire that was leaking air fixed. Whitehall was efficient and fixed my issue well and reasonably priced. I would return here and recommend them for your car care needs.
