I came in to open a new account. I have banked at Truist for several years now, and have not been please with the service in the area. However, my experiences changed with the high level of service I received today. Upon entering I was warmly greeted by a teller who directed me to the seating area. Before I could even sit down, the Branch leader, Calvin Todman, informed me he could assist me right away. He went above and beyond to open my account, answer questions, and set everything up while I was in office. There was nothing left for me to do at home! When he did not know a questions right away , he was very transparent and asked for support to ensure the answer was correct. I could tell that he cared about the level of service that he provides to clients. I am happy that I chose this location for my banking needs.

Don't Waste Your Time with this bank. They are Lazy, Rude and condescending. There was one person already at a desk with a customer. I Waited for 15 min in the lobby for help then another woman came in and took a seat next to me, after another 10 min the Branch Leader came out and said I'll be with you soon then another 10 min later he walked up to us said who's next. As I stood up the woman who was there after me started to talk with the manager. I was appalled that she did this and headed for the door to leave. Then the manager said to me would you like to make an appointment !!!!! My advise, STAY AWAY from this Bank and Location. We will be closing all of our accounts !

By Kenya C: Great Truist branch in Bowie, MD! I appreciate the dedication, work ethic, professionalism, knowledge and kindness of everyone employed at this location. Special kudos to Egerton E. and Kyia H. They have the above mentioned adjectives, they greet you with a smile and sometimes by your name. I go to this Truist location (formerly Suntrust) several times a month and I've only witnessed outstanding service from Kyia and Egerton. I highly recommend this bank for your financial needs.

They are okay… they have their good days and bad days. I wish the tellers would smile more and work a little faster. Lines (inside and drive thru) tend to get backed up. 3/5 because last week they gave me hell for trying to take out $2800.

The ATM is always down. The drive thru is backed up to 197. Every teller I have interacted with is rude. I have been a customer for 21 years. I'm out!

I agree with other comments on this thread. The West Bowie branch should have closed and Hill Top left open. West Bowie branch is old, horrible access and exit from ATMs. Crofton branch has horrible ATM, old and can't read in afternoon due to screen being cloudy and scratched and outdated. BB&T merger has had no improvements in customer service .

If your a latino who has a challenge of speaking English. This is the worst place to go get withdrawals or deposits. What type of factor or mood do you provide to us.? No matter how many worst reviews you receive no one changes in this bank location . My mother started crying by the person who helped her and started mocking and then laughing at her because this person did not understand her. It’s very ridiculous . It’s the closes bank that they have in the area. If your a Latino you will be emotionally embarrassed . I really hope and pray this changes.

I've been banking with this SunTrust branch for over 20 years and have never had any issues. I recently had the pleasure of working with Joe Obeid the branch manager. He was very helpful, answered all my questions and concerns and help me make the best decision for my banking needs. Thank you Joe.

We have used them as our business bank for 10 years. We contacted them April 4th for a PPP loan and were told “sign up for alerts online and be patient”. 2 weeks later. We are still waiting. No one at local branch can even tell us where we are in the queue to apply. Meanwhile our friends who use other banks had their applications in within days of the program opening. We will be switching banks as soon as this crisis is over.
