“I used to take my dog here decades ago when I was a teenager. I’ve brought one of my dogs in for her vaccinations and bloodwork and everyone was so nice and friendly. Dr. Strome was really gentle with my Freya and took care of her like she was one of her own.
I’ve been to many vets but this one has been the best.”
“Very knowledgeable, caring, and tactful. We have a difficult situation with our 2 dogs and Dr Benedick was considerate of the situation, offering other plausible causes other than sending us to a behaviorist. The space is clean and updated. Staff at front desk is super accommodating. So glad that we switched!”
“They may not be the cheapest place around, but the limited staff is the same staff that always sees your pup. So for someone like me that is at the vet at least 10 times a year they are great with her. They know her name, personality and now that they are letting owners back into the office with the pets I can truly see how much she loves them when she arrives.”
“Wonderful experience. Very attentive. During a recent series of back-to-back health issues, we discussed concerns, tests, results, most likely culprit(s), and follow up. Excessive tests weren’t pushed. All in all, our pup is back to her normal, hyperactive self!”
“To be honest, this was the best experience my family has had with a veterinarian practice. (Of course my pup had a great experience too which says a lot!). From the scheduling process, to the appointment itself and follow-up, everything has been great. We came from a different practice, Woodley Gardens made the transition so easy with obtaining all of my dogs prior records from multiple practices which made everything so much easier. My dog has inflammatory bowel disease and is under very specific care and a special diet because of this. Dr. Lowenthal has already been an amazing help with continuing care for my dog's disease and also helping us maintain communication with our dog's internist. I highly recommend this practice!”

“Absolutely wonderful! Everyone is kind, and patient. We were treated like old friends from the moment we walked in. First vet I've found that has knowledge of the sphynx breed. They even have one as an office cat! To top it off, they're prices are very reasonable.”
“This is an excellent vet clinic! I can’t recommend them enough. They have taken good care of our puppy and the staff is all excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable and they always remember our pup and her quirks. They got her in same day when she had an ear infection. They were also super helpful when she was having some pain/discomfort after her spay and gave her a different medication which is working well for her. Overall, very responsive and helpful clinic. We look forward to continuing to take our pup here.”

“If i could give more than 5 stars I would. I usually don't remember to write reviews unless a business makes a significant impact on me, positive or negative. In this case, it is most certainly a positive one. Fox Chapel's staff are all extremely professional. When you walk through the doors, people are engaging and speak to you not just as a customer, but part of the family. A great business for me is one that believes in what they do and Fox Chapel doesn't just hit the mark, they far exceed it. From the administrative folks to the veterinarian, you can tell they care about your loved one(s) and aren't out to just make a buck. We came from a vet, that was a "med pumper" and I strongly believe our youngest one would still be with us today if we had found Fox Chapel sooner. They found some things with our eldest before it could've potentially led to a much worse outcome. I can't express enough how happy I am we switched and look forward to an amazing journey with our fur-baby guardians.”
“We adopted a kitten from the affiliated rescue organization at this vet. The adoption coordinator was amazing! She allowed us to spend time with all of the adoptable cats and kittens. We were there for several hours until deciding on the most compatible kitten for our family. We signed the paperwork and came back the following day to pick her up. This gave us time to prepare and buy the correct food and litter. The adoption fee included the required shots. We opted to have a chip for safety and the vet did that before we picked her up. Very easy process and we adore our new kitty Tofu!”

This was my 1st visit and I have already scheduled the appointment for my dog's annual checkup in January.”
“I am not usually not one to leave reviews but the level of care, professionalism, and expertise that the vets, vet techs, and staff demonstrate at NVA should not go unnoticed. Our 15 year old dog with heart issues needed to go under anesthesia in order to have a growth removed and some dental work. We have always put it off due to her heart issues but thanks to Dr. Willens skill and expertise, everything went well. Not only did the staff at NVA provide the best care to our dog, but brought peace of mind to her VERY anxious owners. Thank you NVA!”

“This staff is beyond description not only for clinical skill but for empathy, kindness and total devotion to Bernie, for sure, and I am sure for all their clients. Dr. Lavora will be sorely missed but Dr. Walston is already demonstrating not only skill but the tenderness that a great pediatrician provides to children.. His staff of techs are highly responsive and very capable of handling not only routine care but also emergency needs. Their receptionist is very efficient and great at getting messages and responses back and forth between client and tech and doc. For fear of leaving one of these folks out unintentionally, I have left out names but I am sure you can get them by calling. It is so comforting to know that they all care very much about Bernie and they trust and respect the care and love that we have for Bernie. “Choose this place. I brought both of my cats here, one that was freeze mode (not fight or flight when stressed) and one that was full on attack mode. They serviced them both well and my babies came back without any issues.If you're looking for a veterinarian who cares about your sweethearts, this is the vet for you. They took care of all my babies (all cats which are normally not as friendly or easy as dogs) for over 8 years.It's only my being forced to move too far away that prevents me from keeping them as a vets to my furbabies.”

Lewis was in great hands there and I was able to enjoy my vacation without worry. The staff is great! Everyone at the clinic is very welcoming!”
