Car was towed to this location after it shut off on highway. I received an email indicating the cost for repair and thought it to be a little expensive but worth it get my car back and running. I was assured everything was ok and good to go ( per mechanic ). Less than a week later the car was smoking and not running. I was told to bring it back. I got another exaggerated estimate. I declined and retrieved my car. This place is NOT recommended to my worse enemy. I only wish I could give zero stars.

My husband got a car off of Facebook marketplace from some Asian guy that he met at 11:at night got a bad car didn't start we took it to fire stone and then we took it here we should have stayed at fire stone I ask for a full price of everything they did and they sent it to me when I look it over the price was all over the place and the total didn't match the cost. Trying to get extra money of me in my husband is a no way. When Email them to fix it they text me saying my car was done. I didn't here back from them in weeks I had too call them they never text or call me so when I emailed and they text 2 seconds later it was just weird. Watch the price and ask for a receipt.

Absolute WORST experience everrrrrr. Took over 2 long weeks to get the brakes for my husband's car fixed & it is now worse off than when we took it in. Brakes on mine still also sound highly questionable even after a month of repair. So, I would not recommend AAA in Brandywine. They are very unprofessional & incompetent. No one even bothered to call or follow up with us to let us know the status of the car. Drove all the way there to pick it up on the initial date of pickup that was given to us, only to be told then that it wasn't ready. Two long weeks later, my hubby was finally able to pick it up - the car now sounds horrible & the brake light still comes up on the dashboard. Initial estimate was ~$1,500 but in the end due to AAA's incompetence, we ended up paying close to $3k ($2,700). This is unacceptable & although we were avid AAA users in Gaithersburg & never had an issue before, we are never returning to AAA in Brandywine. We will from henceforth go through our dealerships.

I went for standard car maintenance (oil change) in October 2020. I had an appointment and was waiting in-person since I was told it wouldn't be a long wait. 2.5 hours later, I had to inquire about the status and was told it was finished. I was waiting in person, remember? Even when I left briefly, I provided my cell phone number, so there's no excuse why I wasn't notified that the vehicle was ready. The other peeve, which I didn't notice until months later was that the techs did not place an updated mileage/date sticker in my car. I've never had that happen before, so it speaks to lack of attention to detail. TL;DR, the overall experience was meh for car service. See the pros/cons below:PROS:-Easy to make and obtain an appointment -Excellent social distancing layout-Friendly staff CONS:-Excessive wait time even WITH an appointment -Lack of detail by technicians -Member discount was minimal & total cost was not comparable to what I could have gotten at my car dealershipWhile I appreciate all the AAA services and info available at this location, I'll skip car repair services in the future.
