I just came from this establishment a few minutes ago. ? It was my first time there, and a friend of mine scheduled me for a facial. The aesthetician who performed my service this evening is Kayla. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process and we had a very nice conversation to match. My face/skin feels & looks amazing, and it was the relaxtion/stress reliever that I truly needed. I'll definitely be setting another appointment up to go back. ? I hope that Kayla will be available when I do. ? Thank you so much! ????

I love this spa, I’ve come multiple times for both services and have never had an issue. The front desk ladies are always super sweet and the therapists that I’ve had are as well.
However, today I just had a 60 minute prenatal message, and forgive me I cannot remember the man’s name, but he had locs and glasses. I honestly was pretty disappointed in the service. I arrived about 5-10 minutes early and was politely checked in. While waiting I saw the guy who I’d soon find out was my therapist kind of moving slow through the spa, grabbing water, going to the back, coming out again. And after about 15mins(after my start time of 1pm) he finally comes to get me.
We get started on the massage and I feel like I’m just getting a rub down. He rubbed and rubbed until the oil/lotion started to peel and would occasionally pick the pieces off of my skin then rub it on the blanket. He never touched my lower back, and then to “rub”’my legs he made me lay on my back! Now mind you I’m 33 weeks pregnant, I told him I can’t really lay on my back and he gave me my pillow back and we together put it very awkwardly against my side. He then proceeded to “rub” my feet.
The massage lasted about 40mins with a hard stop, and lights on at 1:58pm(according to the clock in his room). The whole experience was extremely awkward and I felt like I wanted it to end before we even got halfway through.

I recently visited Hand and Stone Spa in Brandywine, MD for a massage, and unfortunately, my experience was far from relaxing. The masseuse didn’t apply any real massage technique and essentially just rubbed oil on me the entire session. It felt like a complete waste of time and money. When I mentioned this to the front desk, expressing my concern that I’ve received better massages during a pedicure, I was met with indifference. I even suggested they verify if the masseuse had a valid license in Maryland, but no one seemed to care. Rather than an apology, I was simply asked to pay, which added to my frustration. Overall, I’m very disappointed with the service and lack of customer care.

This was my first professional massage and I was thoroughly satisfied. The massage room was very pleasant, the music was soothing, and the massage was great.

I’ve had 2 massages here and even though the staff is friendly and professional, honestly the technique is just not there with both therapist I had. It is a very clean and relaxing environment but unfortunately I won’t be back due to the massages I received there.

This was my first and last time. I have been a member for years and visited several Hand & Stones yet I have never experienced what I have at this location. When I first arrived there were 3 staff members congregating yet no one greeted me until they were done with their gossip.
I waited around 15 minutes after my appointment time because the masseuse claimed he couldn’t see me on camera. He had his Starbucks on the counter in the room and got agitated when I asked if it was his so that I could put my belongings down.
Also front desk insulated older clients while I was in the waiting area because they didn’t see me. They also spoke with clients on speaker phone in front of everyone and laughed at elderly clients for being a little confused. They are extremely unprofessional and very ratchet.
Before getting my facial I noticed that the sheets were soiled. I asked if they changed in between clients, of course she said yes but clearly you hadn’t done so. She did change them once I mentioned that. The lack of integrity, morals and principles in this location are baffling!

Ben did a great job and had a gentle but firm touch!

The front desk receptionist started off great. However, I think conversation with cursing should be refrained in front of customers. Professionalism at all times! Otherwise my therapist Taj was very good.

I had Sherry for a facial and I’m very impressed! She walked me through the issues with my skin. She explained the products she was using on my skin.

Ben did my massage. It went well. It wasn't quite an hour but I enjoyed it just the same.

the money we pay is not commensurate with the massage skills that require more practice. The service is not on par with the price. This place lacks the skills expected for the value.

On front window “hot towel & foot/hand massage”
- front desk… “yea we don’t do just hand or foot massages, only full body”
-why does it say it on the window? “That’s wrong”

Making an appointment can be complicated at times because they are always booked up but overall service is outstanding!! Front desk staff is always nice and welcoming. Flavored water is always fresh, cold and delicious! Shamel is the best at facials!! She keeps my skin flawless and hydrated…just the way I like it!
