The location is so cute and we had high expectations. However the food was mediocre at best and small portions that left us hungry at brunch. For the price of the food, it was very disappointing. The restaurant was also quite echoing and surprisingly loud with only a few tables filled. They also had loud country music was playing which very much killed the beautiful historic manor elegance.

Beautiful building, exterior, and interior. We went for our leap year date. Hopefully, we will be back before the next one and for the next one. Pork chops are great. Lobster ? ravioli is very good. Prices are not outrageous. The service was very good.

This was the third time we ate at the restaurant, and it wasn't a good experience in terms of the food. We had a group of 5. The portions served in 4 of the meals were rather small. The person who had the fish and chips in our party thought the fish taken liked something that you would get buy frozen at a grocery store. Another person found the chicken in their sandwich to be tough. Service and ambience were good.

I read some of the reviews before I came. There opinions did not seem accurate to saying this was too dry,or this was over seasoned. My son who was there used to work as a chef said, most people complain about the noise or service, but when complain about the food usually they are being critical. My brother in law got the pork chops , loved it. My wife loved the crab soup and grain bowl. I got the crab cake dinner, crab cake was all crab. My niece got the chicken pasta dish, she usually saves half her dinner for work, she ate it all, oops'Waiter was awesome no complaints.lots of specials all week.

I am a senior person. Last time I was there they had Happy Hour in the main dining room. Now they have changed lt to the bar only. It was very loud. They would not change it outside either. I guess it’s a money thing.. The girl changed it for me this one time. But actually I may not go back because of this. She made a one time exception because I mentioned it all to her. The food is good actually. Enjoy.

Our server handled the evening very well, despite one server not coming in for work and the team being down a person. We were seated at a table in the bar area which was quieter than the dining rooms (+) and had super comfortable chairs (+) We always enjoy the Monday Burger Nights!

Silo Falls is a lovely venue and a nice place to dine with friends . However, overall, the food was disappointing. The cream of crab soup was very good but the main courses had real problems. My salmon was dry, the side dish of mashed potatoes was oversalted and the green beans were way undercooked, actually difficult to cut with a knife. The pepper corns on my husband's porkchop over powered the dish. We chose to split a piece of blue berry cheese cake for dessert which turned out to be nothing special. We enjoyed our visit with friends but were sorry the food didn't meet our expectations.

Although the menu was rather limited for a Friday during Lent, the kitchen allowed us to substitute shrimp, salmon or a crab cake for chicken on the pasta dishes which was great. Wine pours were generous. Draft beer selection was robust. Crab soup was very good. Lobster ravioli was the hit of the night loaded with lobster meat. Very nice outing, we had asked for a "quiet" sitting area. We were seated next to a group of eight celebrating a birthday so there were moments when it was difficult to have a discussion.

Excellent evening from the minute we walked in the door. Classy atmosphere. The food was amazing! Very inclusive menu choices. Highly recommend the 5 grain bowl with salmon. The rhubarb with strawberries dessert was a knockout! Decent wine selections. All the staff we encountered were very professional and friendly. Well done!

Service was slow and poor, our server wasn't present most of the time. Didn't come by to see if we needed anything; acted shy and unsure of herself and the menu. Didn't know what old bay seasoning was brought me hot sauce. The var made the worst cosmo and irishnutty coffee I have ever had, seems like they can only poor beer and wine. One in our party ordered the filet mignon, fifteen minutes later the server came to say they were out of steaks. We ordered dessert and coffee, the cup was full of coffee grounds, because the server didn't check on us, I went to the hostess and told her about the cup of coffee grounds floating in the cup. Her only response was who is your server. Another cup showed up several minutes later in a very small cup, much smaller than the first cup, we were told they ran out of regular cups. No manager came by to see us.

The venue is beautiful! The service was attentive. The food was mediocre at best. We were there at 5pm on Friday night. Ordered the steamed mussels appetizer and were told that they had just ran out of mussels. The pasta fagioli soup was barely warm and had a thick congealed consistency like it had been taken out of the fridge and reheated. I ordered the filet mignon with the mushroom demi glaze entree with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The filet was chewy. The tablespoon of, again, reheated demi glaze was served in a small cup plate side. It was our first time there. The restaurant was buzzing with business. We were walked to the very back of the restaurant to a table for two in what looked like an empty banquet room. It was odd. The menu seemed to be better than the capabilities of the kitchen staff. Granted, we didn't order the bar foods and maybe they excel in that area. With 2 drinks and two dinners and a 20% tip, we paid $96 and just can't see returning again.

Outrageously overpriced for a very subpart steak. Atmosphere was beautiful and the waitress was excellent, kind, and very apologetic of the multiple issues that seemed to occur for our table and another regarding the food served. I hope for their sake they improve the quality of the food, but I will likely never return regardless.

We just had an amazing Valentine's Day dinner at Silo Falls. Everyone on their team went above and beyond to make it a special evening. We had a window table in the first floor dining room; the room had a fireplace. We ordered a bottle of wine. My husband raved about his cream of crab soup, and the meatball appetizer was very tasty. I ordered the Pasta Silo Falls and my husband had the grilled salmon. We shared a creme brulee for dessert. Our server was named Brooke. She was so pleasant and she checked in with us after each course came out. A high volume night like Valentine's Day can strain the resources of a restaurant, but they handled it all seamlessly. We were really impressed!

Although we have eaten here on other occasions, we were intrigued by the $5 Monday night burger promotion. This turned out to be a really nice dinner - burgers were large, we enjoyed nice appetizers, and the service was great. We will definitely be doing this again.

Great location and service. The food was pretty good but was a little surprised my ribye steak felt more like a strip cut. The tomato soup was really good and the beet salad was tasty and fresh.
