“Welsh Intl is the best diamond resource (& jeweler) in MD. Don't let the humble store front fool you. Kevin has the highest quality at the best prices. I was referred to him 23 years ago by a coworker and have referred friends and family alike for years. His prices and quality blow away other jewelers. He is an expert and will slowly walk you through the diamond buying process (without any pressure). My wife loved her engagement ring and we have purchased other items from him over the years. Recently Kevin resized her platinum band. Kevin removed the nicks and it looks brand new. I wish I could rate him higher than 5 stars.”

“Have vintage Hamilton Automatic that one jeweler sent off. After two weeks was told $400 to $500 to replace mainspring, stem,etc. Was told may as well buy a new watch. Lakein's cleaned it replaced some parts for a total of $164. Came back the next day with three watches that needed batteries. Total of $24. Not $20 as charged for one at another jewelry store. I highly recommend Lakein's!”

“Yo, everybody listen up & take my advice, make the right choice, don't go left!When I arrived at the store at the old address, next to JCPENNY, I asked where Arthur was. They said he was here but busy, so I asked where Alec, Arthur's cousin, was. I had spoken to him on the phone before coming here, and he had given me a quote of $395, tax included, for an 8-gram 14K chain and nameplate. April, a Latina lady, told me that Alec was out for work but would be back soon and that she would help me instead.After more than a week, instead of the promised two days, they gave me a dirty chain and nameplate in different shades of gold, in a dirty black box that was crumpled. The chain was green, and the nameplate was pink instead of yellow. When I asked to weigh the chain and nameplate, they only weighed 4.5 grams, not 8 grams, and charged me $400 plus $24 in tax. April refused to refund my money or make both items the same color, and she wanted an additional $150 for that.Having had enough, I went to the mall to find someone who could help me and found the real Eastern Jewelry, not the Eastpoint Jewelry cesspool. Alec told me their company has been at the mall since 1993, and those impersonating scammers from Eastpoint have nothing to do with Eastern Jewelry. Neither he nor Arthur works there, and he doesn't have a cousin from India who is 4'8" tall. If I wanted to buy a necklace and nameplate from him, he would sell it to me for $350, including tax, with a weight of 8.5 grams instead of 4 grams. Alec replaced the ugly box with a beautiful one, made the chain and nameplate the same color, and didn't charge me anything. Where is the management of Eastpoint Mall? It's a mess.Yo Alec, gotta give you props & a shout out to your bro, always holding me down with that help & support. You two are straight up dope, no one can touch what you bring to the table. Mad respect, homies.”

“Today I drove almost two hours to see Clare Shepherd. I first met her in the National Harbor outlet, followed her to the Annapolis mall and have now followed her to the Arundel Mills location. I have purchased two rings through her, and she has been incredible helping me with my wedding band warranty.Most important, I trust Clare with these priceless items. I had a local jeweler say I needed $300 of repair so I drove the 2 hours to see Clare, despite having a lot of anxiety issues for these long road trips. Clare and another jeweler confirmed that my ring had no concerning issues. She has made sure issues were repaired previously under my warranty when needed. Today my husband looked at possibly getting a new wedding band too.If you question getting the warranty for your jewelry, do it. If you want to work with a phenomenal person on such a precious purchase, take the road trip! She’s worth it 100x over!”

While walking by the store, I accidentally stumbled upon it and decided to go in and ask if they could fix a missing diamond on my 18-year-old ring.
