Plentiful tea goodies and attentive service, nice selection of interesting teas. The scones were just a bit over baked and the tea sandwiches would have benefitted from a few veggies or fruit slices or something more inventive along with the cream cheese and herbs. The decor is playful and nostalgic. Nice reuse of an old church building that we are told had gone into severe decline. I'd go back for lunch.Parking: We drove around trying to figure out if the restaurant had its own parking lot but it doesn't. Street parking is cheap compared to DC (50 cents an hour) but the parking kiosk ate two of my quarters!

We drove an hour just to have brunch at this place as my friends had been to this place in the past and had great things to say about their food and ambiance. We ordered a bunch of stuff. Old Berlin sandwich which is a sandwich made with a thin cut of beef and stuffed with sauerkraut. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. It just melted in my mouth. Highly recommend it. Some of the other food included belfry chilli which was very delicious and a couple of vegetarian sandwiches. For drinks, highly recommend pumpkin spice chai latte. Ambiance is great. If I lived nearby, I would absolutely come here and work for a couple of hours and try their delicious food. Service is good too. You have to order at the counter and then they bring you the food to your table.

Great ambience, good food, and quick service. This place is so cozy and comforting on a rainy day. Set in an old church, the stained glass windows and the wide tables with cushions are great for small private breakfasts and large groups. They have a few vegan food options like the Roma sandwich with simple tomato and mozzarella cuts with basil, and served with a cup of cold marinara. We also had the veggie sandwich which gets more gooey with stretchy provolone and hummus. They did mix up our side orders of chips and salads, but we shared all our food and enjoyed everything. They have an extensive tea and coffee menu, and seasonal selections. We tried the pumpkin spice chai and it had all the goodness of a fresh pummeling bread.

First time here with my daughter & best friend. Loved the atmosphere & beautiful church features. Was so cool to be surrounded by so much history while enjoying great food. My daughter had just been here with her jeep club & wanted me to experience what a cool place this was! It did not disappoint! We will definitely return & bring other friends along!

The cafe is an excellent spot for breakfast or brunch. We enjoyed our time here, and the atmosphere exudes a wonderful vintage charm reminiscent of an old church.

Love this place! Gives off a very 90s whimsigoth vibe. Very wholesome and a great stop for food or caffeine. Lots of families, people reading, or doing crafts while relaxing. Always a stop when I’m in the area!Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids running around and there is a kid area in the corner. Changing table in the bathroom.

What a great find! We saw a sign for this shop on the way through town to our destination. Amused by the name, we looked it up on the web and decided to stop on our way home. What a great atmosphere! The croissants are flaky and delicious. 5 stars!
