I actually kind of like this store but I have had more than a few missing items on my pick-up orders. When I have gone inside to have the issue fixed I have been treated dismissively as if I were lying about not getting my items. On one occasion I was told by the service desk to go down to where they pickup collections inside the store but when I walked in the area, the exact place customer service said to go, one of the employees yelled at me for being there. I didn't go through a door, or into an obviously private area. It was just a little inlet at the front of the store where the pickers are. It's not worth saving $0.50 on a two pound pack of mozzarella to put up with this kind of behavior. I complained to customer service online and suprise, suprise, surprise, never heard anything back. These guys just do not seem to care, at all. It is kind of sad too because they have things I like and a decent price.

Try -1 star. Terrible.... I never had this experience at this location before ever. I am still TRAUMATIZED. I was treated like a criminal and I was HARASSED for no reason from the lady manager. A Loyal customer shouldn't be treated that way. Never apologized after she was CLEARLY WRONG after she harassed us after we left the self checkout. The manager fussed at the self checkout worker for not watching us at the self checkout.She even made sure to walk us to the door not even explaining what she was doing. I was so appalled and embarassed. She literally went to the door clerk and whispered to him to demand him to check our stuff and receipt knowing that's what there suppose to do to every customer. He checked and there was nothing so then she yells out "let me check your bag". I was so upset I was like "how dare you" I opened my bag and guess what...she found nothinggggg. Did she apologize or offer to make it right? No. I decided to go back and return everything and get my refund for $150 for 10 items that was clear as day in my cart. Customer service was terrible. She got snappy and was like "you want to return this because she wanted to check your items" Ugh no she literally escorted me to the front so I was harassed. Nobody else got escorted from self check out nor did she approach anybody else. Seems to be racist. All could've been avoided if she just had let me got checked without making a big thing to walk us down there and search my bag to find NOTHING! I will never shop at this location again.

Every time I come to the California BJs gas station in afternoon there is No attendant.i present. I pay with cash. I had to call the manager to come over and attend to the store front. If you are going to come over in later afternoon there will not be an attendant here. They will be on a break and they won’t send a replacement.

Horrible customer’s services.They don’t even know what they are doing with simple technology. Just count how many items customer bought matching with receipt they show you .Even if they returned one just couple minutes ago .But they won’t let you go cause not match with the original plus with keep telling them I just returned one item minutes ago….20 minutes for waiting to fix simple thing ….POOR TREAT WITH LOYALTY CUSTOMER!!

My favorite place to shop..Many options to choose from.. Employees are extremely helpful and friendly ☺️ always enjoy going to BJ's and I have also introduced my parents to the store and they love it also..Prices are awesome ?

BJ's wholesale warehouse in California, MD is an organized and a clean store compared to other warehouse type stores I've been in before. I've never had a hard time finding things in the food section of the store or in areas like vitiama or personal hygiene area but if you are looking for things like clothes they harder to find and not so organized. The employees are friendly the ones you might actually encounter. The self checkout is the easiest way to check out and not have to wait on an employee to be there or to move as fast as you need them to be. The worst place to find a employee is at the exit where there is suppose to be one to check you out so must of the time I don't wait because I don't have the time to wait for them to show up and do their jobs.

Picked up an online order and waited extremely long for the representative to come out to the curbside pickup with my items.Upon the representative, Kristen F. coming out with my order, she walked past me and skipped providing me with my order. She went directly to another customer. Both the other customer and I were standing outside of our vehicles awaiting our orders. Kristen went immediately to the other customer without confirming who arrived first. However, I arrived before the other customer, and this was unjust. Servicing the first customer because they look like you is totally not cool!The best practice to implement is to service curbside customers in the order in which they checked in online or on the app!

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service at the tire center. Limped in one evening after work when it was raining and dark with a nail in my tire. Asked the person at the counter if he could get it patched. There was only one other customer waiting when I arrived. The person at the counter looked at me like I had a second head growing out of my shoulders. Finally he said he couldn't do anything since they were closing in an hour. Thanks for the help. I am a senor citizen and can not change the tire myself. I called AAA - they asked my location. I said right in front of the BJs Tire Center. AAA arrived and changed the tire for me. Great Optics for BJs. I will Never use their tire center again. Not recommended

I would absolutely choose another wholesale if i had another option. Understaffed and the material is not as good as Costco, but let's face it, this is the only option within an hours drive. Electronics are generally sold with lower grade inferior components. This is why they have their own extra characters at the end of their part numbers. Food gods only mildly discounted. Occasional good sales.

I got my membership for BJ’s to get a discount on gas and propane. For over a week the propane has been down for maintenance. How long does it take to do maintenance on a pump?

The customer service desk is always unstaffed and the wait time exceeds 20 minutes—easily. The managers are incompetent—if you can even find one on duty. I’d rather spend my hard earned money at Costco.
