After jumping through hoops for a while, dealing with automated AI, all the while hoping to talk to a real person, then get to a point where there is nothing. You've been hung up on. DO NOT SHOP HERE! The employees will tag you with a sales/price tag and steal your personal items. The Management is behind it (Cindy is her name). If you see a customer with a sales/price tag on their back please stop them and ask them to make sure they have everything with them.

Awful. Can't manage simple delivery, no one answers the phone, it's all just a bunch of useless personnel passing the buck around until you get fed up and shop somewhere else. This place stays in business because they're the only game in town. Zero stars, but yelp made me add one. Do. Not. Recommend.

I don't recommend Lowe's. At least not for any major purchases. They are another company where the corporate office doesn't really care about their customers. And you can't blame the employees at the store who work for minimum wages. In store sales associates extremely helpful. Selection is pretty decent. The prices are pretty competitive. They actually have a lot of what I like and would purchase. I often shop for products from the store and because I simply pick up the available items I have never had to deal with their delivery service. That said I made a purchase of a refrigerator yesterday afternoon during the Labor Day weekend and it was ordered in store with extended warranty and scheduled for delivery in two weeks. I went home thinking all's well. I received the email notification of my purchase and delivery date. This morning the sales associate who assisted me calls and tries to explain that something is wrong and that although they have 33 units in stock they cannot deliver the unit I purchased and they will refund my money. Not sure what happened nor do I care as long as I am not charged. However the associate could not figure out what happened and supposedly the store manager couldn't help. I received no email from Lowe's I had to return to the store to get the refund receipt. It's almost 2024 and online purchases and deliveries are not rocket science. Sears roebuck one of the original catalog shopping and delivery stores did it with no internet. So what gives?

Don't purchase an appliance from the Mechanicsville Lowes! We purchased a refrigerator and had to have three delivered before it was right. Our walls are messed up, we lost food, we were promised restitution which we never received. Instead of owning the problems, the manager told us to talk with the contractor they hired to deliver the refrigerators. We were promised gift cards for the food and interior damage. We have not received them. The Store Manager will not return our calls and the contractor refused to send the promised gift cards! I believe this is a problem that Lowes should manage! We purchased the refrigerator from Lowes NOT the contractor! they need to step up and make things right!!!!!!

We are new to the area and needed new appliances. We came to Lowe's just to look around and see what was available. Joseph in the Appliances Department greeted us warmly and was very friendly and kind to our disabled son. He showed us several different models and spoke knowledgeably about the pros and cons of each. Since we are new and haven't yet even closed on our new house, we had to arrange for delayed delivery and he was very accommodating of that as well as our other needs and concerns. Joseph made the entire experience enjoyable. Thank you, Joseph! We will be back to this Lowe's for our future needs.

I purchased a washer anbd dryer from the Lowes in Califonria Md. The installation was done rather quickly with a lone exception. The contarct called for installation and taking out the old units. The guys were fast in there installation however they hooked up the cold to the hot water hose and vice versa. I received the bill in early May and sent a check for ther entire amount on May 10th. To date no one in LOWES knows where the check is. I went to the counter in Lowes in California Md to wait for over half an hour to be helped. While I was there, to pay the bill no one there could find the account . I initially gave the rep my statement with the account number clearly on it. They still had to call headquesters or a corporate office to figure out what to do.

came into the store to buy a few Kobalt power tools, totaling over $500 for all of them. Nobody was visibly Available at the time so I asked a store representative for help, they paged someone to the tool section. The page went out 3 times....... Nobody came. I then found another store representative and said this was my second attempt she told me she'd send someone over I heard the message go over the loud speaker again 3 times...... nobody came. So my last attempt 3rd attempt was to use the assistance button near the tools that I wanted to purchase. Did that and again the message went out 3 times, and not one person came. At this point I was frustrated and left, I got in my vehicle and left. I got home and ordered all the tools on amazon. This is why big department stores are closing daily due to poor customer service and experiences like this. you try and shop local and this happens. This is why folks choose online stores instead, thanks Amazon prime.

Today I went in not knowing what I wanted. I needed blinds for a project I'm doing in my house, but had no idea where to start. I have previously had THE WORST experiences in this store. The employees have all had horrible attitudes. Today though, I met Ashley in home decor. She helped me figure out how to measure (which I went home and did) and then returned to the store and she helped me pick out and cut blinds! She was very nice and courteous, and super helpful. This store needs more like her!

If you are in the market for an appliance, be careful if you buy at Lowe's. As long as there are no issues, things might happen as expected. We just bought a refrigerator from Lowe's and had so many issues scheduling the delivery that I cannot recommend them.

This place is the worst, I live in the country, have no choice for appliances since Sears went out of business, so had a good experience with them when our dryer died, then our fridge goes, and since that day it was nothing short of a nightmare, we order a fridge online set for delivery in 4 days, they call the day before and say oops sorry the fridge is not in the store, wtf, how do you sell something and schedule it to be delivered when it doesn't exist, they then just cancel the order and don't even try to sell me a fridge they do have, really? But our fridge is broke, so I ordered another one that will be delivered the next day, then the online tracking says it will be here between 9 and 2pm, well 2pm comes and goes, and you can't get the store on the phone so I chat with Lowes online and guess what? They never put the fridge on the truck! Again, the store will not pick up a phone to save their lives, so the next day comes, and online says they won't deliver the fridge till next freaking Monday! Our food is spoiling at this point, even with the ice packs we put in there, so since the store won't pick up the phone, called the Lowes line again and the soonest they could deliver was Friday, wtf, 4 days away! Well the 100 bucks worth of food is going in the trash now, but at least we can restock on the weekend, again I find it hard to believe a multi billion dollar company with 1000s of employees can't figure out how to deliver a freaking fridge right away?!? Nonetheless, I beg Lowes to please come after 3pm since I can't get off work and already took a day waiting for them on Monday, they said they put a note in, I looked online for a 2nd phone number for the store and with 2 phones at the same time called both numbers. The 2nd one picked up after ringing for over 9 minutes, again I begged them to please come after 3pm, they said they noted it, when done with that call, I looked at the other phone and it was still ringing after over 18 minutes! Sure you know where this is going, well got a call a little after 11 am, and guess what? They're 10 minutes away! I again beg the driver that we said we needed after 3pm, he said they only have a couple of deliveries today and will be done by 2pm! So I call the wife who works at a school and they let her come home thankfully, and we finally have a fridge that works. The delivery guys were good people though, so no issue there, my issue is with this garbage store and Lowes in general, if these guys were getting done this early with deliveries I am sorry they could have gone back to the store to get my fridge on Monday, but no, 100 bucks worth of food spoiled in the trash, including some Omaha steak packages, and no one at Lowes cared at all, it's not their food after all, not to mention Lowes customer care said I was supposed to get a Call within 24 hours, well, it's been over 100 hours now and no call...guess Home Depot from now on for us, I wouldn't go to this store for a light bulb!

I ordered a new washer and when it arrived it didn't work. I tried calling the store that day and was on hold for 3 hours. The phone hangs up after 15 min and you have to call back. I called the next day and was on hold for 4 hours. Same deal. When I called the extended warranty phone number ( this was useless), they directed me to call Whirlpool . I did that and the guy that came said that the machine was fixed. When I tried to wash clothes the machine stopped working. Now Lowes says that the machine can't be replaced unless it is unrepairable. The Whirlpool people will be out again on Thursday to try again. Lowe's will not do anything because it is over 24 hours since it was delivered. I have called corporate and have left emails. No response. Stay away for this washing machine and Lowe's ( the one the agitator is removable). This is NOT the first time that I have used Lowe's but if I can avoid it I will not deal with them again for anything major.
