I can't speak for the service itself. It may be great. I called as a potential customer with new residence in MD. Local provider I found out was Bay Country Communications which I had never heard off. I sent an email and had to call about 6 times in order to reach someone. When I finally reached someone, they answered all my questions which was great, but I cannot justify paying for this service for internet based on the fact they only offer 2 plans and charge $170 for 100 Mbps. If you only looking for internet, Starlink would be a better option which is typically faster for only $120 a month and available just about anywhere in the USA.For perspective, the other local ISP in MD, Choptank Fiber charges $135.95 for 1 Gbps (or 1000 Mbps) which is 10x faster and Xfinity is even cheaper. Bay Country prices are absurd in 2024 and it's never been easier to get something like Starlink or even an unlimited 4G / 5G connection in a remote area. There are a lot more comparable options today and these prices don't reflect that nor the competition that is available. This is not affordable internet in today's world, and it's amazing they charge this much for subpar speeds while the state of MD gives them huge contracts to expand fiber. Not only is their prices and service about 15 years out of date, so is their website design compared to every other major ISP.I strongly recommend you see what else it out there and save yourself some money before using Bay Country. I will reevaluate them in the future if they ever offer more plans at a more appropriate price.

BCC ran the line down our long drive and it was so neatly done I didnt even notice it until I saw the box on the house. We had 3 inches of rain that week and even my lawn guy couldn't tell! On interior install day, Jackie and Nathan were awesome. They had me online in about an hour. Top notch. I'm really going to enjoy calling DirTV to cancel my service! Thanks BCC

My dad went in the office this past Monday to request an installation appointment for me, and Dawn in the office was able to get me scheduled for an appointment two days after that. The approval window was between 12:30-4 pm, but Jackie and Miles arrived a few minutes before 12:30 pm. Jackie explained the process upon arrival, told me how long it would take, and answered all my questions. I am very pleased with the service I received and very happy with my internet service.

We love this local fiber internet company. They upgraded us to their Enhanced Fiber Plan, and our home has hardly ever had any issues with connectivity even while steaming and gaming. We accidentally cut our line digging in the yard, and we spoke to a real person on the phone. They sent a technician out to visit at the address within 24 hours. Even though we knew we created the issue, the office manager Dawn was fair and direct with her communication in addressing the problem. I did have to wait on hold on the phone for a few minutes, but at least I spoke to a human and not a robot. We know you all at Bay County are good hard working people just like us and we thank you for your time and patience. Thank you for the help and the service, BCC!

Dawn in the office is awesome! She is very responsive and knowledgeable. Dawn is also very easy to work with and has the customers best interests in mind.I was also impressed with the installation team. They worked hard and were very friendly to work with.Well done all around by the BCC team.
