“Great place. They give you shelter. They feed you. Even if you’re not staying in their shelter. You can go there daily,and get a bag of food from the donors (Wawa,Starbucks,Chick-fil-A exc). Very kind people all around. They are a true blessing. Once in this shelter. If you do well. They will work constantly to get people on their feet,housing,psych & medical help,employment exc. They have a ton of resources. And have saved a lot of peoples lives.And the people complaining about being turned away. For a “mistake” they made years ago. Are s3x offenders. It’s the same rule with most shelter in the USA. These shelters have families,with children most of the time. Young men and women that are very vulnerable. Naive teens. Exc. Don’t act like they are turning people away for a shoplifting charge from 20 years ago. It’s because you’re a predator.The only other reason. Is if you show up drunk. Which again. Is the same at most shelters.I thank God for this place. And even though I’m now housed. And on my feet. I still go there to help out any way I can. When I can:)”
