“I stopped at the new store (tonight), and a young lady helped me find something and I also questioned the price of glasses that I purchased a different day. She was very apologetic, very polite and made me feel very welcomed in the store. She made me feel like she really cares and I do appreciate that... so much! She has a kind heart and I thought everyone should know!! Thank You! Oh, and I asked her name and she said: "Kennedy".”
“Gonna miss the days of it being $1 tree rather than $1.25 tree, considering they own family dollar and family dollar still sells things for $1 now and again you would think they would sell some stuff for $1 still at dollar tree but considering places like Walmart have gotten greedy and jacked up their prices since covid and trying to use inflation as an excuse (it is really corporate greed) they still are a better deal on certain things, and have some neat things you can not get at Walmart and other retailers in Cambridge.”
“Trust Restored
I’m usually a mobile-cart shopper, but yesterday I ventured out and met an expert who completely restored my faith in people. There really are good people out there, and I found that needle in the haystack at Family Dollar.
A situation arose on my end—a lack of trust and patience in the system—and John handled it with grace. The situation resolved itself quickly, but it was too late for me to apologize in the moment.
John, you are truly awesome. From the deepest part of my heart, I apologize. Continue being a light—for me and for others—because people like you are needed more than ever! ❤️”
