“The experience at European Granite Design was wonderful. Genevieve was very friendly and professional the moment we walked through the door. We told her what we were looking to do and she showed us the many options we had to choose from and answered our questions in detail regarding countertops, the difference between granite and quartz. She asked a few questions about our project and gave us a price that we were comfortable with. A couple days later a gentleman came out and did the measurements and told us what to expect. A couple days after that the installation was done and they exceeded our expectation. The installers came within the timeframe indicated and the process was done within a reasonable timeframe. We are very pleased with our new countertop.

“I hired solid kitchen in 2013 for what was supposed to be a quick remodel, but it turned into a full renovation of my home. enre and akin designed the project, and etran with daniel handled the construction. they completely redid my kitchen and all of my bathrooms while i was away in california for a month.
when i returned, i was extremely impressed with both the quality of the work and the respect they showed for my home. everything was well protected, organized, and treated with care.
most importantly, after 13 years the remodel is still holding up perfectly. nothing has broken down, and the workmanship has truly stood the test of time.
i would highly recommend solid kitchen to anyone looking for skilled, reliable, and trustworthy contractors. great work from start to finish.”

“As a contractor, we have had a lot of issues in the past with granite installs (scratches, uneven countertops) with deplorable material (not using the correct caulk). They did 2 installs for us and both countertops were installed to the best of quality. When there was a hiccup (a small imprefection), Edgar (the manager I think) got on the phone with me to resolved it quickly while even giving me the option of returning the entire countertop. We really appreciate that sort of communication and urgency. They also allowed us to send a custom sink over at their warehouse to be measured properly for the second install. We will definitely be using for our next builds.”

“As part of our stone purchase for an outdoor kitchen project, I contacted the Capitol Heights location regarding inventory and pricing that had already been honored by other Floor & Decor stores.
My initial conversation was with Kirtley the manager, and unfortunately, it was not a positive experience at all. The manner in which the entire conversation was handled felt as though I was being given a difficult time. The discussion became unnecessarily frustrating and unproductive. By the end of the call, there was no resolution. I was given no other option... but to end the call. This is one of the locations that has the remaining stones that we need to purchase, in order to complete the kitchen project. I was furious.
The following morning, I decided to call back and speak with another manager. I was connected with Toney, and the experience could not have been more different. After listening to the situation, Toney was professional, courteous, and solution-oriented. Not only did he honor the same pricing that had been extended by the other locations, but he also offered to transfer the material to a more convenient store for pickup.
When we arrived, the team was friendly, professional, and worked together seamlessly to assist us. Mat/Simon were great. Their willingness to help completely turned the experience around.
Every organization occasionally encounters challenges, but what truly matters is how those challenges are addressed. Thanks to Toney and the Capitol Heights team, what started as a disappointing experience ended on a very positive note. We sincerely appreciate their professionalism and customer-focused approach.”
