I’ve certainly stayed in better hotels, but I’ve also stayed in way worse! It served it’s purpose as a quick, mostly clean, & affordable hotel. The main reasons we chose this hotel was…#1. They allow pets (up to 70lbs & a low fee) & we had our puppy with us.#2. It was a good/reasonable price ($75/night + taxes & fees) for traveling during the holidays & a couple days after Christmas.#3. The D.C. area is just about the halfway point for our 14 hour drive & this was far enough outside of (north) the city to avoid the traffic.Pros:- The overnight Front Desk attendant was a really nice guy & made everything easy when we were exhausted. (I gave 2 ⭐️‘s for service because we didn’t use or need any other services other than checking in, but also because of the poor quality of the “complementary breakfast” - SEE BELOW)- Good sized room with a comfortable King bed.- There was plenty of grass/green-space around the hotel for our dog to walk around & use the bathroom.- There’s several businesses in the immediate area & at the exit where the hotel is located.Cons:- The “complementary breakfast” was definitely lacking & I didn’t want to risk getting sick from what they did have.- The hotel itself wasn’t dirty, & our room/bed/linens were nice clean. But the furniture in the lobby & the chairs in the room made me comfortable standing.- The elevator appeared to be either under construction or being renovated, possibly? Either way, it was just sketchy.Would I stay here again?- Depending on the price, probably. But I wouldn’t pay much more than the $75/night.Like I said, I’ve stayed in way worse…Nearby activities: There’s a gas station, a Dunkin, a dispensary, & several other businesses right next to/across the street/in the general area.Safety: The area wasn’t necessarily “bad” or what I’d consider “dangerous” & I never felt unsafe at any point, but I also wouldn’t consider it the “best” area. There was a police car parked out front all night long, but there wasn’t anyone in it. I’m not sure if this is something that’s done regularly to deter crime or if an officer was legitimately staying there.

We were on a round trip to DC area and happened to stop here. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This place is disgusting and the surrounding area is dangerous. The staff are rude and dont care about anything. The rooms are very dirty and they will refuse to cancel your stay and provide refunds. The staff will also refuse to change your room or change the bed sheets, pillow cases, etc. This is not a hotel it's a motel that's very run down and ghetto. It smells like cigarettes all in the room and halls. This place is a one star at most.

At check out has to wait 15 minutes for a clerk to arrive At the desk.Clerk was friendly. When we checked in the room was clean but very hot tried turning on the AC which didn't work. I just felt with it but in the morning I desperately needed a shower but the shower was not at all functional. It was late and I couldn't go to a different room for a shower. Had had a deadline to meet. Also the breakfast almost non existent they didn't even have milk. Terrible experience.Nearby activities: Not much to say

A good service. But a lot of issues. Elevators were messy and broken floorboards and the elevator. Bathroom door was broken. Stains on the bed. The chair in the room the arm was broken. The lobby was very clean. The food was decent. Was pretty good. The hallways were dirty. The walls need to be wiped down all the doors , they're literally a walking distance to a home Depot and they could have got more cleaning supplies or a new door for the bathroom

We were booked to stay 3 nights but immediately checked out the next morning. There was only 1 working elevator which has a ripped up floor that was barely covered with a carpet. The down button to call the elevator on our floor didn't work so we had to press the up button to go down to the lobby. We had to slam our hotel room door to get it to shut. The hallway carpets were dirty and the rooms didn't feel clean. We didn't want to use the shower. The breakfast items were poor. The cranberry juice tasted watered down. We were happy to have Wi-Fi so we were able to find another hotel quickly and easily and fortunately there was no penalty to checkout early.

My room was dirty. Fries were on the floor and McDonald’s trash was still in the trash can. The elevator didn’t work we had to use the stairs and no ice machine on our floor. We had to go to the 5th floor from the 3rd for ice. The room was not the same as advertised. Overall we made through the night but I would never again. Absolutely not. The only thing good about this hotel is that it’s near plenty of shopsNoteworthy details: Not worth the price

Stay at this hotel was the worst. It started with check in. After a delayed flight we reached the hotel at midnight. We had been trying to call the front desk entire day to let them know that we would be late and no one ever answered the phone. When we were finally there, the front desk gentleman gave us one room and said the other room is not going through. It made no sense since both rooms were under 1 reservation on priceline. So he asked us to call priceline. As I was talking to the agent, he says he wants to talk to them. The agent politely declines saying that she cannot do that and will have to put me on hold and call the hotel directly to resolve the issue. Priceline kept me on hold and tried calling them but guess what, their phones don't work. So the gentleman keeps yelling at me asking me to hand over my phone to him so he can talk to the agent while the agent kept repeating that she cannot have the guest and the hotel on the line at the same time. It was painful. Some time later another person came and tried to call priceline from they cellphone and this gentleman actually called the priceline agent 'crazy' when he did not understand what the agent was saying. The phone went dead after this and I don't blame the agent. After the 2 hour ordeal, he just handed us the keys and says it's resolved. I have no idea what was the hold up.And it was all downhill from here. We had 2 king rooms but got 2 queen rooms. One elevator was broken and the one that is working has floor tiles coming apart. Elevator skips floor so we just end up taking stairs. Juice machine at breakfast was broken. We had kids with us so I asked if they would restock milk since the fridge in the cafe was empty but was told that milk only comes on Wednesday. What? It was only Friday! The rooms were filthy. Walls were yellow, toilet flush was not working, carpet was peeling off, chairs had their cover peeling. There was hair under the blankets and in the towels. One morning we saw roches on the wall and one on the bed. Luckily it happened the day we were checking out if not I would have left earlier. It was horrible experience overall.

This hotel is terrible, the room has a stale smell, the bathroom tub wasn't clean enough due to it needing to be replaced, the sheets were very itchy, but there were no bed bugs visible once I checked with my UV light. I stayed there because it was convenient to where I needed to be for last weekend, and the price was okay. There's also one elevator working. I don't advise anyone to stay here unless this is your last resort. The front desk lady was great!!

Check in was quick and staff was decent. One elevator was broken so it took forever to get up to our room. Upon opening the door we were hit with a stench that was a mix of smoke and sweat. Room itself was filthy (as shown in photos). Just beware if you stay here- decent price for quick trip. No visible bugs/ checking mattress.

If I could 0 stars to this hotel, I would. We had a Horrible experience. First of all, they don’t take allergies request serious at all. I requested no feather pillows due to allergies, they had feather pillows in the room. The elevator was broken so only had one elevator running. After check in, it took us 25 mins to get to our room. Room was disgusting, room had mold growing, room was so dusty and their was all kind of stuff on the furniture, not cleaned at all. Tried using phone to call customer service to request non feather pillows, couldn’t reach anyone. Staff was very rude at check in. Do not recommend anyone at all. Such a waste of money and time and ruined our whole trip.

our experience was interesting, but pleasant. The elevator was slow and the button on the 4th floor did not work so we had to use stairs every time we went down. we stayed 3 nights. the beds dipped down in the middle. our shower head was broken. the bedding was old and kind of stained. the carpet was dirty. It had no bugs. they had a washer and dryer that we did use it worked well and didn’t cost too much to use. The breakfast we good. They had eggs, turkey sausage, waffles, instant oatmeal, On the first day they had orange juice, but then they ran out. They had toast, coffee, hot chocolate, apple juice (which they ran out of), cranberry juice bananas and muffins. The people who ran it were friendly and accommodating. We did learn that it was recently purchased and the new owner is working on renovating it. it was not too far from Washington DC approximately 9 miles in a 35 minute drive to the capital.Rooms: They were nice sized but needs work.Nearby activities: it’s close to washington DC lots of historical sites close by.Walkability: there were gas stations and fast food restaurants within walking distance.Food & drinks: They had breakfast in the morning. There was fast food restaurant and gas stations in walking distance.

Close this hotel please. Elevator was down, you have to press so hard for the functioning one. Corners of the bed was dusty, wifi was down and they ran out of bagels by 8ish, and the brother who was the chef was not gracious when I asked if it was going to be replenished. This said, they didn't leave a bar soap in my room, had to call(I wished they even picked) and then walk down to get one. By the way this hotel was miles away from the airport if your plan is a simple commute. This is the second review am ever leaving in my life, I was pissed the most about the wifi since I came now to read the reviews and see that its a norm for them. I'm sure one of my sheets was used by the previous guest. Black Jesus take the whole car, the orange juice and cranberry juice machine taste like metal and because I only drink purified water I know how bad it is to taste water in a juice concentrate. The rug in the elevator stank, Jesus take the wheel again.

We stayed here for a week while visiting DC. We often stay LQ and this is the worst one we've seen. Pretty on the outside but has poor maintenance and cleanness. One of the elevators is broken and wifi is spotty and doesn't work consistently enough to get any work done. Only positive thing was the strawberry waffles. Overall you're better staying at the Motel 6 next door.

After reading the reviews I wasn't sure what I was going to walk into but the it wasn't that bad. One levator still doesn't work but we had no issue taking the stairs up to 4th floor to avoid the jam at the 1 working elevator. The hotel was being deep cleaned when we arrived for our 1 day stay for the Bears game (they won by the way! #bearDown). The room was ok, standard for price point. Air was working more than fine. The base of the shower could use better scouring but I just took a shower on a large bath towel. Dove products were a plus, even though I had my own. Bed was comfy and clean. No overhead lighting in room but the lamps sufficed.
