The truck was filthy, the check engine light remained for most of my 1300 mile trip. The right view mirror did not work, it had 160,000 miles, no cd player or USB port, the lighter charger did not work and worst of all the truck would drift out of it's lane for no reason I could understand. The hire a helper movers that they recommend were awful. They cursed at my neighbor's and did not finish unloading the truck even though I paid in full. I'll never rent another budget truck!

I went in there this morning to rent a vehicle because my suv was going to be in the shop for a day. I accidentally made my appointment for the following day. The man behind the counter was amazing ? super friendly helped me get the car for the day I needed. He sanitized my suv before I entered was fast friendly and simply amazing. He definitely deserves a raise.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! This company basically took my money when the vehicle I reserved was not at the pickup location and the guy there was so nonchalant and said I would not be charged, this has been happening for a while because Budget continues to list the equipment as available on their website and there is nothing he can do about that. They then charged me $30 over the quoted amount on line of $45 to the tune of $75, and when I called to get my money refunded, I was told we still have to charge you $15. This was just shy of a bait and switch! No company should be able to get away with this type of business. I plan to investigate legal action, I'm sure I burned close to $15 in gas just driving to pickup the truck, this is horrible bussiness!

I reserved a car rental at Catonsville location at 6610 Baltimore National Pike two weeks ago to be picked up today 08/13/2022 by noon. I got a call from Daniel Dissa who is an unruly, distasteful and unprofessional employee who told me that he didn't have a car that I should call the airport and see if they have a car for me. He seems no to care at all to help me out as a customer who has been renting at this location for over 10 years. I asked for his employee id which he refused. He told me that if I can get a car at the airport, I should call them myself. What a very poor customer service. Daniel shows no empathy for the disappointment.

Based on the other reviews, I was terrified to rent from here, but I was desperate for a place that would accept a debit card for the hold instead of a credit card and this was the only place in my area like that. Thankfully, my anxiety was unfounded. I even waited until the return was complete to write a review in case there were some secret charges thrown in, but nope, a totally normal process from start to finish. Daniel was the staff member I dealt with and he seems totally unaware of the awful reputation this location has online bc he just went about his job as okie-doke as possible. The selection of vehicles isn't extensive, no one picks up the phone (every time I called, someone from the national hotline answered with generic info) and there could be a better job of categorizing cars online (the Budget site says options are compact, economy, etc. but in reality, economy is subcompact, so it's a bit confusing), but other than that, getting a quality car at the last minute without a lot of run around was all I needed and they made it happen. I was very satisfied w/my Kia Forte for the week and won't hesitate to come back to this location.

Goodness, just terrible, slow, inefficient, jacked up computer screens, I wasted bits of my life in this process with them. It's a shame when flying all the way from Oakland to Baltimore is less stressful and tiring than the process of renting a vehicle...

Unbelievable what happened to me this weekend made reservation for yesterday gets a call saying they had know car and that I will get a call if they get something know call so go there the car I made reservation for was setting outside but the young man told me nothing can in.. ok so I made another reservation for today he called me again saying they had know car. So why are yall letting people make reservation and there are know ? very unprofessional very and I deal with this company all the time..UNHAPPY Customer I give big 0 stairs

The absolute worst! Called me a day before I was supposed to pick up my moving truck to tell me they didn't have it in. Customer service agents keeps hanging up on me. I'm so upset. Avoid budget

My flight was delayed so they gave away the car I reserved. Apart from not being able to provide me with the rental I booked with a credit card, the manager rudely told me it was my own fault and tried to charge me a $50 fee for not cancelling. I lodged a complaint with Budget and got a refund. Serious problems at this location.
