When my last tax service retired, I was worried that the easy peasy days for tax prep were over for me. Not so! Nancy and Laura and the team at Chesapeake Tax made things super easy for me and my family. They were really patient while we gathered what we needed and they were always happy to answer any questions we had. Very friendly, secure, and affordable. I don't know why anyone would do their own taxes with these folks around.

I was looking for a new tax person, and Robert Crawford reached out to me. The business is in a excellent location and the service was amazing. Very personalized and streamlined. They were quick and efficient. Unfortunately, my federal taxes were initially rejected by the IRS due to an issue with claiming a child following divorce. I was left with the task of contacting my ex’s tax person to have them file an amendment, and subsequently had to file my taxes on paper. 3 months later and I still haven’t received anything, and the IRS website and automated system provided no information. Concerned that the IRS may have rejected my taxes again due to an error, I tried to reach out to Chesapeake Taxes, and received little help. I was disappointed that I’ve had to handle most of the follow up on my own.

I waited 1.5 days because they said they will give me a call back. They knew I'm having an urgent situation; they have 2 front desks, 1 Juinor and 1 senior tax accountant; yet no one bother enough to inform me that they are unwilling/uncomfortable to help me with my cross states tax return. If you are like me: urgent, first time filing taxes and messed up big time. Do yourself a favor, find someone else who can help you, because they won't call you back.
