“Their online store is wonderful! Never stop making the candles/fragrances! I’m a perfume enthusiast and they have some of my favorites. I love the Botched Lobotomy candle. It’s the most unique scent related item I own. Never smelled anything like that before.

“Super cute spot with a ton of small items, toys and figurines from Japan. We stopped in and found cute little mystery mushroom keychains that we’ve only seen at one other place. They have ceramic noodle bowls and art (from stickers to wall hangings) inspired by Japanese culture. Closer to the checkout counter they have snacks, sweets and drinks! There were a ton of things to look at in such a small space. The woman behind the counter was super sweet to everyone. Even with a bustling store no one was left waiting for long at all.”
“Recently, I was searching for local businesses with ethical practices that offer vegan products in sustainable packaging. Imagine my absolute *glee* when I found Mt. Royal Soaps! So far, everything we've tried has been lovely. Special shout-out to the Essential Cream; *finally*, the perfect remedy for my winter hands! (And also every day of the year :-D)
There are so many thoughtful and caring details woven throughout Mt. Royal Soaps' business practices, and their principles and community-mindedness are inspiring. Plus, even when an order went MIA, they were highly responsive and immediately replaced it - great customer care!
I'm delighted to support them moving forward, and excited to try their workshops as well. The absolute icing on the MRS cake is that they have a couple of cats on staff - LOVE <3

“In town for a concert and stopped by this neighborhood for food and stumbled on this shop. Friendly shop owner and cute, neatly curated selection of items. Some great Baltimore items and lots of fun, smile making items. I picked out a funny dish towel and toothbrush, and my daughter found a great clear purse that was exactly what we needed to take into the concert that night. If you're in the area absolutely worth a stop!”

“A cute little store with a highly whimsical vibe. There’s a few tight corridors but if you like the fairytale side of things, dragons and holiday miniatures, it’s probably right up your Alley. Also they have a Merlin Fortune teller machine inside”

“The shop is filled with beautiful & well crafted mosaic art and jewelry by proprietor Gail Rosen and artworks by others. Gail also sells a large selection of interesting and often visually stunning crystals, rocks, towers, fossils, and stone carvings.
I've bought many things from Andamento over the past year, including small mosaics, accent lamps, goddess figures, and gorgeous polished stones. And I just picked up from Gail a commission she made for me for a traditional yin/yang symbol made of black and white glass tesserae. I love it!”
“Love this store!!! Its like a Disney store for adults! A little high priced but liscened merchandise is usually more expensive anyway... I make sure to stop by a few times in a season bc we always grab cool shirts and figurines. The sales and clearance sections are usually "lacking" but again, it's liscened merchandise from the mega-global conglomerate DISNEY so I expect that, still, I'd like to get some cool stuff for cheaper if possible ?Singed,A mother of three who visits often ?✨️(Got our Airbender and Firebender shirts from there 2 weeks ago! “I came here a couple of days ago to find some kpop albums that I couldn't find at the big stores, and I ended up finding a lot of the items I was looking for :) The prices are a little higher, but the quality is definitely worth it, and the customer service here is GREAT! The girl at the register, Gab, was so helpful with my questions and even made small talk with me about different kpop groups and albums which really made the experience worth it, will definitely recommend this store to any kpop enjoyers in the area”

“We had a wonderful experience at Zelda Zen getting my 6 yo daughter's ears pierced. Beth was SO caring, kind and patient with her- even when she was scared. Beth is highly experienced and really took the time to be sure the piercing was in the best spot and explaining the details of after care to us. The jewelry available was all adorable and high quality. The price of jewelry and piercing was very reasonable compared to other shops I had checked, and it included the after care solution. The shop itself was fun to see, with plenty of cute cards, gifts and jewelry to add to the experience. I'd highly recommend going to Beth for piercing a little one, as she did a great job overall and will always be remembered by us.”
“I went to The Gift Shop on their opening morning, and could not be happier with how cute, fun, and perfect this shop is! The owners were also super giving and sweet and gave the first 50 shoppers a swag bag, as well as free drinks and snacks. The colors of the store are fun and vibrant, and as usual, the clothes for purchase are stylish, the accessories are wonderful and hilarious, and the quality of everything is great.
