I have been an M & T customer for some time now. I do not use branch services often so when I do need to go into a branch it is for something I cannot do on the website nor automated system. I needed documents notarized for a morgage loan modification and I was told they could not notarized them because the mortgage was not through M & T. Am I missing something??I've banked with them for over 10 years.. I've brought other customers to them for banking and I can't hey a document notarized because it's not through them... hmm doesn't sound right

If I could put zero stars I would!! I had a good experience with the tellers which is why I’m giving 2 stars BUT the manager Cynthia ruined that by being so unprofessional. She was rude and kept raising her voice and getting smart with me. This is not the first time this has happened either. I thought I was a valued customer here but I don’t feel like it at all.

Absolutely terrible service! I visited their location on Tuesday with the intention of opening a new business account, as advised. Following their recommendation, I scheduled an appointment for the following day at 3 PM with Cynthia Anna Edoukou. However, upon arriving, I was informed by the front desk attendant that Cynthia had temporarily stepped away and would return shortly. Despite waiting for an entire hour, there was still no sign of her. To add to the frustration, another staff member informed me that I should return the next day to complete the account opening process. I explained the urgency of needing to make a vendor payment and requested the account be set up that day, but the response I received was disheartening. They insisted I come back tomorrow despite my having made a special trip that day for the appointment. Unbelievable!

Everything is going well today at M & T bank. Quiet & attentive Mr. R. Schneider in customer service is assisting me with patience, understanding and kindness. I'm very pleased with my overall experiences today.

I went to this location today with my mother. We were greeted and thanked for our patience for having to wait. All is well at this point. We were then helped by Lisa Irving. Now she was the one to greet us and at that point she was nice. However, once she took us in the office she was real snippy and giving attitude. Is this how m&t treat their customers? She asked what we needed and I spoke and she said “no disrespect I need for mom to say what is needed since this is for her account”. Now if you have to announce about not being disrespectful then at some point you will be disrespectful. So i just said okay: during our entire visit she was just nasty and had a bad attitude. Not really sure what was wrong with her but that is no way to be towards people. We are living in times where kindness can go a long way and she never know what we were going through. Lisa I recommend a little more kindness.

I felt discriminated upon when I tried to return a damaged dollar to a to the bank and they told me they don't accept it when bank of America will except your damaged money as long as you have a account with them Ms Evans bank manager. Tana and victoria no they dont wear name tags would have jumped me for even asking switch to bank of america in get treated bettet

Sat there for 30 minutes waiting for someone to help me. Lady in front of me was waiting for 40 minutes. They acknowledged us and thanked us for our patience but I will not be returning.

Mrs. Lisa Irving was great an very friendly to me. She assisted me with reopening my account yesterday. Very informative an gave me a phone call after I left. The staff was friendly an greeted me when i came in. Only thing for me that I feel they can do better is the wait time an scheduling of appointments.

Standing here in line 20 minutes to cash my paycheck. One teller on duty in the branch and not enough money to cash it in drive through.I am livid and they are sooooooo slow

The worst treatment I’ve ever experienced in customer service, period! I’m so disgusted on how unprofessional the “branch manager” Nichelle Johnson displayed herself. I highly do not recommend this location.
