I am so pleased with Rent A Center Catonsville where Ace is the Manager! She does an awesome job of making sure her customers are taken care of and satisfied with their purchases. I had a recliner chair previously that wasn't a good fit for me. When I called Ace and told her I wanted a different recliner, she did everything she could to make sure I had the one I wanted. She guided me to the website to look at chairs they did not have in stock at the store. I was able to order the one I wanted and it was delivered in good time by an amazing young man name Leroy. It was a huge chair and he handled it magnificently getting it up the stairs and installing it. He was gracious and very personable, and although it was not an easy task...he maintained a manner of politeness and positivity. Thanks Rent-A-Center Catonsville 5652 Baltimore, National Pike, for always making my transactions with you a great experience. Thank you Ace for the awesome job you are doing. You give excellent Customer Service!!! Wishing you all continued success in this new year 2023!. I Love My Chair!!!!!

Terrible service. "Robert" promised delivery for today (4/29), but after waiting all day no one showed, and no one called. Have been waiting for furniture for a month.

I have been trying to get a order put in for the last 4 business days and one guy called me and was talking to me about what I wanted and he put me on hold and hung up on me the next day I call the guy who picked up was nasty as f*** to me but after telling him what I wanted he took my info and told me he would call me back before the end of business day no call so I called back the next day any I get I guy who seems to be helpful he takes my info tells me he will pull my order and get everything set up for me and will call me back the next day early in the morning and no call from him but a lady called me b.c I put a order online and she takes my info and said she would call me back by in a hour and here it is the next day still no call and they are closed for Sunday wtf

So I tried to be understanding when I waited a hour in the store for info and prices. Then I tried to be understanding when my delivery (that i paid for) was scheduled for between 2-4. I called the store at 430 and was informed that there was a 'miscommunication' and that my furniture hadn't even been picked up, it would be delivered at 7pm. Ok. Delivery came and literally got only my dresser and my headboard. My footboard, platform frame , side rails and night stand were missing. Super inconvenient but they told me they will deliver tomorrow at 6pm. Its 7 now. Still waiting. Contacted corporate and was told it was up to store managers discretion if I was compensated. Talked to the store manager and was informed because I paid in full there was nothing they could do for me, had I set up set payment plans then I could have been compensated. AND the rest of my furniture will be sent in TWO deliveries at some point. Worst experience ever. First and last time going through rent a center.

Shady! They say one thing and don't own up to it. I locked in on a certain date, and called multiple times to confirm delivery, the lady on the desk TOLD me that the payment didn't affect the delivery. After waiting hours after the scheduled time, I call back, and was told "its too late for delivery" and that I had to reschedule. I ordered a bedroom set, and was promised a new mattress, when it arrived it was used and smelled like cigarette smoke! The pictures are VERY misleading, none of the products were remotely close to the pictures advertised on the website. The prices are super inflated for what you get,(which ain't much)....overall its a bad business, unprofessional because of the lack of integrity, and just to costly. Steer clear from Rent-A-Center.

Worst Rent-A-Center there is. Worst store manager and employees. I am NOT a complainer but this store pushed me past my breaking point. A week prior to the SM (store manager) scheduled my delivery for a Monday at 3pm, I gave her all my references, etc. She called me the day of the delivery that she can't deliver my couches that I put a deposit down on, signed the contract on and everything, that they can't deliver them yet because she hasn't heard back from my references yet. Well when you wait to call my references not even 24 hours before the scheduled delivery, you can't expect to have everybody answer and return your phone calls immediately. She should have NEVER scheduled anything until she cleared my references. So I gave her 4 other people to call. If they missed her call, they called right back within the hour. When they called back, she told all of them that they weren't needed anymore and denied me. She could give me NO valid reason on why I was fully approved, paid a deposit, signed a contract and then deny me because you didn't do your job right? I called corporate, had the district manager call me, he validated she did not do her job correctly but that it was her call if I was denied or not. Nobody could give me a reason on why? No valid reason at all. They are drama, can't do their job right and ignorant as hell. I'm not going to get started on the employee who hung up on me when I was telling him what my problem was and what was going on. DO. NOT. GO. HERE. TO. GET. ANYTHING. Find another rent-a-center.
