I wish staff in this location can be more nicer and use appropriate tone talking to you and not talk to you in a humiliating way in front of other customers. I won’t be returning to this location even if it’s the closest to me. So sad that people getting paid by the government using our own tax money will treat you like this.

This is the absolute worest USPS location. 1st it is not accessible for the disabled...not sure how they get away with that. I asked once and the answer was "those who can not climb steps can wait outside for a good Samaritan or shout for help"The staff is very grumpy and unprofessional.Forget about getting them to answer.the phone...will never happen. They pick it up and hang up immediately so they don't have to take the call.***The carrier who comes to my home is wonderful**** It is just the staff at the post office location that need to be replaced. Also I always speak to them with a joyful respect...so it is not them just giving as they get.

Just got my two children passports at this location and it was incredibly smooth and the staff was wonderful and accommodating.Tips for making it smooth:-come with your application complete-bring cash to cover the costs.-bring original and copies of documents

Walk-in passport hours are apparently aspirational. I came during the posted hours and was rudely told that they don’t do walk-ins because they didn’t have enough staff. The next appointment was several weeks away. Another customer kindly told me the public library does passports. East Columbia BCPL Branch actually does honor their walk in hours.

I do believe that it would kill the employees at this location to be even a little bit nice, provide even a small amount of customer service or pleasantry, because they certainly acted like it would. If you're getting government pay and government benefits, you have no excuse for treating people that way; retail employees certainly hold themselves to a higher standard.

Came into the Post office today with a good attitude and received two back! Tiara was exceptionally helpful today by quickly providing me an answer to my question and calling me back before I even got back to the office. The other ladies were in great spirits and it showed. Thank you so much Tiara being so wonderful and on a Holiday too!

I avoid this place as much as possible. Staff is extremely rude, got yelled at today for dropping my mail in the wrong place…. just an example of what kind of service to expect when coming here.

I can't retrieve my held mail, which was supposed to be delivered to this P.O. after the hold had expired. Dealing with the desk agent was impossible, as is par for the course at this place. She told me my mail wasn't there in a tone that suggested I was stupid to even expect it to be. (Why am I always treated like an imbecile by merits of simply walking through the door?) She told me something to the effect that only people with post office boxes got their mail there (even though the USPS provides the option of picking up held mail at that location, and I opted for this arrangement). She was not interested in seeing my email from the USPS, which included a confirmation number that could be used to investigate missing mail. She just gave me a number to call the Geipe Road mail warehouse, which I called repeatedly. Never got an answer. I had to go back and stand in line again. I got the same agent. I expressed my anxiety over not having my mail (bills and such) and asked again for help. Her response was that the the warehouse people were 'busy' and I just needed to keep calling that number, try first thing in the morning. She further deflected responsibility by telling me how to better handle bill payments when I was away, like I was to blame somehow for needing my mail. The USPS national service center intervened, and now at least a Catonsville post office supervisor has been trying to find where my mail is. It seems she is trying to be helpful, but I am still confused. She is making a vague reference to another post office where customers are to pick up their mail, but none of this information was ever disclosed, and I don't know where this mystery place is. The USPS had confirmed, when I called them, that the mail was supposed to be available for me to pick up at the Frederick Road location. The supervisor mentioned getting the mail carrier's help, but there will be no mail delivery until three days from now. Two days have already passed since my mail hold expired, and the mail is still missing.

I have been here more than once and when back the second time I remembered why I don’t frequent this place. The service here was the worst and the lines were long. The postal worker is loud, rude, and indirect. Mail is pretty straightforward but there are nuances. This person basically berated 3 out of 5 people during my 15 minutes in there. She knows her stuff but the delivery and tone is just so bad.

LETS BE CLEAR 1 STAR BEAUSE I HAD TOO PUT SOMETHING THIS IS BY THE WORSTTTTTTTTTTT CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER RECIEVED . ALL AND I REPEAT ALL LADIES THAT WORK AT THIS LOCATION ARE EXTREMILY NASTY AND RUDE. LETS START AT 8/5 WHEN I WENT TO THIS LOCATION AS I DO EVERY MONTH FOR 2YRS TO DROP MY MAIL IN MY RENTAL MANAGER PO BOX (MAIL THAT HAD MY RENT IN IT ) I ASK THE LITTLE GIRL ROCHELLE TO PLEASE PUT IT IN THE PO BOX ... DAYS WENT BY , A WEEK WENT BY , 2 WEEKS WENT BY. MY RENTAL MANAGER STILL HAVENT RECEIVED MY RENT. MIND YOU THE LADY WAS SUPPOSE TO PUT IT IN THE PO BOX (AT THIS LOCATION ) I WENT UP TO THIS POST OFFICE NUMEROUS OF TIMES ASKING FOR ANWSERS , HOW CAN MY MAIL JUST DISAPPER ? EVEN IF IT WAS SENT OUT IT WAS BEEN SUPPOSE TO CIRCLE BACK AROUND . I CALLED AND TALK TO THE SUPERVIORS LIA I BELIEVE AND VERY NASTY! AND THE CLERK WITH THE SISTER LOCS TOLD ME " 1ST OF ALL WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO " . FINALLY I JUST CALLED THE COPS BECAUSE I WASNT GETTING ANY HELP AND BEING BRUSH OFF AND BY THIS TIME MY RENTAL MANAGER HAS REQ FOR A NEW PAYMENT ON TOP OF A LATE FEE ! ANY WHO COPS CAME AND THEY WAS ABLE TO GIVE ME THE INSPECTOR POST OFFICE NUMBER THE CLERK GAVE THEM, WHICH SHOULD OF BEEN GIVEN TO ME IN THE BEGINNING ! I CALLED & I HAVE A CASE NUMBER AND THEY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO FIND WHERE THE FREAK MY RENT DISAPEAR TOO . THE NEXT DAY OF GETTING A CASE NUMBER 8/18 THE MANAGER LIA ( I THINK THATS HER NAME ) CALLED ME AND HARRASSING ME ON "WHY I CALLED THE COPS , WHY DID I START A CASE , ITS PROB LOST NOT STOLEN .. CAN YOU BELIEVE HOW INSENSITIVE, UNPROFESSIONAL ,AND OBLIVIOUS THIS LADY HAS TO BE ! I TOLD HER I HAVE A CASE NOW IM NOT GOING BACK IN FORTH WITH YOU , INSTEAD OF TRYING TO GET DOWN TO THE BOTTOM SHE WANT TO HARRASS AND QUESTION ME ABOUT WHY I TOOK THE NEXT STEP TO GET SOME HELP ! CAN YOU IMAGINE PAYING YOUR RENT ONTIME , POST OFFICE LOOSING OR STEALING UR MAIL AND RENTAL MANAGER REQUESTING FOR A WHOLE NEW PAYMENT KNOWING YOU DONT HAVE IT . I BEEN NICE WAY TO LONG WITH THIS POST OFFICE , ALL THE TIMES I BEEN HERE I HAVE NEVER EVER RECIEVED GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THIS INCIDENT PUT THE ICING ON THE CAKE . THOSE LADIES HATE THEIR JOBS AND LIFE OBVIOUSLY BEACUSE THEIR ATTITUDES IS SOMETHING I NEVER SEEN BEFORE . PLEASE DONT EVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AND IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM THEN PLEASE REPORT IT , THERE NEEDS TO BE A WHOLE NEW TEAM!!!!!! DOWN TO THE SUPERVISORS AND CLERKS . AND TO TOP IT OFF I HAVE NO TRACKING NUMBER BECAUSE LIKE I SAID MY MAIL WASNT SUPPSOE TO BE SENT OUT! THE LADY ROCHELLE I GAVE IT TO JUST SO HAPPEN CALLED OUT AND HASNT BEEN BACK TO WORK ! I went in on Friday to get a quote to ship a snowboard in which I received. Came back today to ship it, and the lady behind the counter w braids said she cant weigh it, and is unable to ship it for me. I told her I came on friday it was measured and weighed and provided a quote. She said well I cant do that, the other employee you dealt with will be in soon. I asked what time, she stated I dont know. Absolutely horrible attitude, and just being lazy. This is unacceptable, and poor service to say the least.
